This was probably the worst game of Leverkusen this season yet. But with all due respect to West Ham, and they deserve all the respect they can get after this game, we mustn't forget that Leverkusen players had been partying the past few days and had a hangover. Considering that and the fact that this has been the 44th unbeaten game in a row, it's crazy that they somehow still prevented a loss.
They were probably still drunk 😅
Steve hate every team thats not english.

He's not English...

Yeah, the Scotsman who hates England is totally biased in favor of English teams. Absolutely 🤣
People like you are delusional. Aside from supporting Liverpool and hating Atletico Madrid, Stevie doesn't care at all about any teams, lol.
The amount of late goals they're getting is astonishing, but I guess it's largely because they keep exhausting their opponents with the way they play so they get more and more dangerous the longer it goes
It's got to be something like that because the amount of late turnarounds they have done this season just shouldn't be happening
@@fr0ntendit’s got to do with squad depth, like u look at every position and they have 2 great players in 1 position, like today they took off Grimaldo and put on adli, took off tella and put frimpong, and even took of schick for boniface. Should I keep going 😭

@@otterpoopieit wasnt kossounous fault. The keeper kovar caused an insecurity across the whole team
Thats probably because of xabi alonsos philosophy when it comes to his squad. Everyone who is there gets played. They have good squad depth and he uses it by not always having the "star players" on the pitch. This means everyone is used to being in action, no one gets rusty, but everyone gets some rest and that is why every substitution has the possibility to change the tide.
It seems as if Stevie doesn't like the German teams

Bayer Leverkusen is still unbeaten 💪 👏
I really want them to do it as an Arsenal fan I remembering doing the premier league unbeaten at going 49 unbeaten in the league and really wanted to get that 50 game unbeaten run but lost to our main rivals at the time 2-0 at old Trafford against man United. If Leverkusen avoid defeat away at Dortmund in their next league game then they will do it. But away at Dortmund who are fighting to get a champions league 4th place will not be easy for Leverkusen to do. It actually reminds me of when Arsenal finally lost premier league game 50 at old Trafford. But hopefully Leverkusen get at least a draw.

West Ham really had a lot of chances of to put them away in the first half but there lack of them being clinical cost them. Leverkusen were actually really poor in this match and in truth should have lost it however they got away with it.
Leverkusen have been insanely good this season but make no mistake to go unbeaten in a whole season you need an absolutely absurd amount of luck to go your way, credit to them though.
The hammers were on full gas for the first 45 minutes to try deciding the game, well knowing if they fail in the first half, the tank will be empty for the second 45 minutes.

I can say that .There was 6 main meetings between English and German clubs this season. CITY -Leipzig, Bayern- Utd , Bayern-Arsenal, West Ham - Freiburg, West Ham - Leverkusen, and Dortmund- Newcastle. The result..4:2 in favor of the Bundesliga teams .

Idk why people don’t get Stevie point. Winning the league so early is good but it can also be bad when it comes to young players in the squad who might lose that focus.
I hope they finish the season unbeaten but Xabi will need to keep them hungry mentally.
I’m loving this German football
Such an unbeaten run is a nice thing to have, but Leverkusen would throw it out of the window if they have to. It could be seen yesterday when they were 0-1 down at West Ham but still kept their composure. Instead of hunting a goal like crazy just to uphold their record, they slowed things down to silence the crowd, have West Ham chase the ball and gain back control of the match. If it would have ended 0-1, they would have been fine with it because it would have secured the semifinal. The equalizer was more like a nice bonus. They showed great strategic intelligence and maturity by that. An unbeaten record is nice to have, and the Americans love those things, but you must never let these things turn into a liability and have you do things that you wouldn't do normally.
British pundits are mad cuz ALL epl clubs are out from Europe competitions 😂
The most dangerous thing at the moment is believing all the craps and shits spitting out from Steve's mouth
They probably going to win the treble this season.
Stevie, focus on your trash team Liverpool and your trash EPL clubs instead of being bitter about Bayer Leverkusen 😂
a Merdier league centered show that only has one merdier league club left in europe chose the title "Bayer Leverkusen are in DANGEROUS WATERS"... Ironic!
Drunk and still got it done lmao
Bayer Leverkusen clinched the Bundesliga title a couple of days ago with 5 games remaining and now they’re in the Europa League semifinals and have to play the German Cup final next month. The treble is very much on for Bayer Leverkusen. With a minimum of 8 games remaining especially if they get to the Europa League final, there’s a possibility that Bayer Leverkusen wins a treble while also finishing the season undefeated and how many games are they unbeaten now, I’ve lost track of it because it seems like every time they play they don’t lose a game. Bayer Leverkusen are just inevitable and they’ve played so well and many times they’ve had to rely on luck to keep this historic undefeated run alive because whenever they fall behind and trail for a large period of the game, all of a sudden they just come back to draw or win and remain unbeaten. Against West Ham even though they were already ahead by 2 goals on aggregate, Bayer Leverkusen were behind facing another deficit and it didn’t matter in the end because they went through and avoided yet another defeat.
Great job guys, keep your streak going, it's time to be legendary
Bayer Neverlusen😂😂😂
Stevie just can’t stand the fact that the English clubs have been knocked out of every European competition. And that there three German clubs competing for a European championship.
I heard many teams not losing at home for idk how many seasons but in all competitions unbeaten for 44 matches, that should be something very rare.

But if it were Liverpool they are too professional to let up right Stevie? You’re a joke
Completely agree with Stevie. The Pep years at Bayern are a perfect example. Champions by April and then no tension of focus in the semis of the UCL those years
They won't be meaningless Steve? They will be key games in achieving a record-breaking season. The fact that people like Stevie Nicol are employed should give a lot of souls hope.
Steve ‘Sour & Salty’ Nicol
Absolutely bitter
I understood what Stevie was trying to say
Dangerous waters??? What is this guy talking about? They are the favourite for winning the Europa League. They wouldn't lose at home to Crystal Palace or Aston Villa.
Bayern Munich has won the league 32 times. There is no way to beat them on that front. That's why the other stats are so important. Leverkusen could win the league with a record 94 points. Leverkusen could be the first team to win the league unbeaten. And of course winning by a margin of 16 points (or even more) over Bayern would also be historic. That's why they will do anything to win the last five league matches. As their last defeat was in May 2023, the have the chance to stay undefeated for a whole year and continue in the next season.
12 different teams have won the league so far. To stand out they need to do more. That will make sure that in 50 years from now people will still talk about this season.
If Rome is healthy is a 50% game.... the possibilities that Rome is healthy is 10%.....
The next five matches will be crucial if you care for that unbeaten run thing. Leverkusen will face a chunk of tough opposition in Dortmund, Stuttgart, Roma, Frankfurt and again Roma, all of it matches against teams that still have something to accomplish this season and are on a high themselves (possible exception Frankfurt). Staying unbeaten for an entire season is of course the White Unicorn of European football, but I don't think it would have top priority for Xavi Alonso. It will be interesting to see if he goes all in in the Bundesliga or if he will use the league to rest some of his key players.
They (Leverkusen) did not win important silverware? What about the UEFA-Cup in 1988?
Or 1993 DFB Pokal

I would not worry about going undefeated. I'd go for the cups. Seen it many times, going back decades. Once the league is won, games are lost in the league. I remember way back in 85, Everton were in two cup finals, won the league with five to play - just like Bayer L - had just gone 28 all competition games unbeaten with 24 wins (different times) - and then lost three of the four next league games
