- Yo were back with another go pro from a muddy extreme at Tong, my lense never arrived in time for the camera so no vlog sorry. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did riding it.
Had to cut the 1st lap out as there was dirt on the lense

In drumming it's called economy of motion, it's how metal drummers can play without tiring. You demonstrate that so well on a bike, some dude is full throttle and not moving, and then you come flying up the same hill barely even on the pipe. It's what you do when people aren't looking a.k.a. all the practice, that really shines at times like this, great fucking ride man!

This my favorite format for watching Hard Enduro. Graham Jarvis built quite a fan base with this kind of simple viewing of the race. I've lost contact with Graham since he went to doing camp videos that were not very well produced. Thank your Johnny for bringing the POV racing and your incredible skills to light.

Actually, the saying is "slow is smooth and smooth is fast" It comes from the Navy Seals and it's how they move as a team when they breach building and such. We use the term in EMS as well when we find ourselves under extreme pressure to remember protocols and algorithms when attempting to save lives. It basically means remain calm, be slow and precise, do whatever you are doing once, don't rush and do it right.

The way good hard enduro riders can find traction on this terrain is just amazing. Traction and momentum are such keys to this type of racing and its so hard to do.

You're just not normal, bud (In a good way). He makes it look just like a sunday stroll through the park. And with a cold on top of it by the sounds. Freak of nature out there. I love it. I am both jealous and admire this man. The hard work he has put in surely shows. I applaud that in todays world.

Hey mate wicked riding, I notice on your bike at tong you had a power valve spacer just wanted to ask what are the benefits of this ?
When you neck down via the air filter I'm pretty sure you're also increasing the velocity of the air charge going through the carb which draws more fuel atomizes more efficiently

I love enduro but the only thing that gets to me sometimes is the crowd standing right on the racing line or cross g over as your riding past. It’s happening here to Johnny often but as an amateur it’s 10x worse. Reminds me of the old group B rally when all the spectators would run on the track then off as the car passes. That being said you can’t beat the British crowd at a hard enduro

@@JonnyWalker it looks great. Can’t imagine the feeling you get when everyone is cheering you on. One “fan” that always sticks out in my mind is watching you ride erzberg. Just getting ready to enter the wooded steep clime and some guy was just running in front of you stopping you for about 50yds. 🤦🏼♂️. You nudged him with your wheel to remind him hes on a live track. 😂. Great riding Johnny all the best for 2024
