    Great video, thanks. I’m considering a Canyon SLX also coming from a 54 Cannondale HiMod and have been wondering about frame size too. Funny thing, I found this video by searching Canyon CF SLX, and saw that I was already subscribed to your channel, turns out it was from your Crosstek build! Happy riding.

      HI Randy, very cool. Small world. :) The bike really is awesome and the size has worked out perfect. Best of luck to you on picking up a Canyon!

    I got nearly 12 months on a CF SL and very happy with it. Good value compared to the other rip of brands.

    Getting the Di2 version of your model. Man, the bike is a bit over 15 lbs. crazy. The dt swiss wheels must be really light. Need to look those up.. I’m guessing the are under 1400 grams.
    Also.. did you have a mechanic double check all bolts? It’s not uncommon to have a lot of loose bolts on these bikes.
    Good video.

      Congratulations! I have enjoyed ever minute of owning this bike. I did have a mechanic do a bit of a once over initially and I am going to have it taken apart and rebuilt here in the next month or so. Just to have everything checked over, regressed etc.

    Rick, we are pretty much the exact same dimensions. How do you find the bike for comfort? I'm torn between the Endurace and the Ultimate.

      Honestly I find it extremely comfortable probably 15,000 plus miles later. I rode the Supersix Evo hi-mod prior and it is more comfortable than that bike and more responsive. After over 2 years I have zero interest in a different road bike.

    I’m 5’8 and 30.3 inseam. Canyon says XS unless I change it to 30.5 inseam, then it recommends S. Which would recommend I get as a first time road bike buyer

      Hi Alex, I am not an expert fitter that is for sure, but I think you would be just fine on a Small being that it is so close. There are a lot of variables to it, but the good thing is if it is way off when you get it you can return it with in 30 days. Just be sure to read all of the details about returns prior to purchase.

    HI, may i know CF SL and CF SLX is big different feel when riding?

    • @AZdroptop
      @AZdroptop  Před rokem +1

      Hello, I have not ridden the SL so I honestly don't know. My guess is it is more about weight than anything else and there probably isn't much difference with ride feel.
