What’s the movie Pulp Fiction about?
Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, Pulp Fiction follows the mission of two hitmen, Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) and Vincent Vega (John Travolta), out to retrieve a suitcase stolen from their employer, mob boss Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames). Wallace has also asked Vincent to take his wife Mia (Uma Thurman) out a few days later when Wallace himself will be out of town. Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) is an aging boxer who is paid by Wallace to lose his next fight. Honey Bunny and Pumpkin (Tim Roth) are a couple of young lovers and small-time thieves who decide they need a change of venue. The lives of these seemingly unrelated people are woven together in a wildly entertaining and exhilarating motion picture adventure that both thrills and amuses.

I love how Jimmy's only worry isn't going to jail or getting killed by the dead guys crew, it's Bonnie divorcing him lol. That's true love
I don't think Jimmy had to worry about the dead guys crew since they was already killed earlier that day.
Wives are more dangerous and terrifying than jail or death.
@Eralen00 You said it.
A woman scorned my friend 😂
I think Marvin (the dead guy) was a loose affiliate of Jules'.
Travolta is hilarious without uttering one word.
he should stay like that
I paid attention to him throughout the whole scene and you're right🤣
Now he's too busy worshipping Lord Xenu
@@erickdraws9563You don't have any idea what you're talking about.
Yes, he is.
Can we all just take a moment to acknowledge the sacrifice Marvin made for this scene to be possible...
He is an actor.
@@howardsend6589 The actor was also named Marvin and he died on the set... It's well known fact and one of the reasons Pulp Fiction had so much hype when it came out.
I thought everyone knew this, but here are the bulletpoints: Tarantino wanted real guns with bullets on set for authenticity. The scene where Marvin is shot really happened, and he gave both Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson 5% of the earnings from the movie to keep acting in that bloody car after Marvin's body was removed. Only fake stuff is the blood on their suits and hair, cause they run out of the car when the accident happened and stripped down from their clothing. The blood on the windows that they clean up... yeah, it's real...
Everyone in this movie had successful career in Hollywood, you think it's a coincidence that "Marvin" never played in anything?
@@Deadhammer218 You forgot to work in Bigfoot and a UFO into your narrative. Phil LaMarr sends his love.
I still can't believe they accidentally killed the guy and kept the tape rolling.
@@odgarig8601 The coffee was so good they forgot everything else.
The thing amazes me is the Jules is so chill with Marcellus 😂😂
It's really a testament to how bad Jules actually is that he can talk to Marcellus like that. I'm pretty sure he's the only person in the movie (who knows who he is) that speaks to/of him without extreme fear
Because Jules is black like Marsellus and black american men are like Mexican men they are gay bisexual culturally speaking. They are compadres and compadres kiss and hug and touch each others buns . But if you outside of their gay bisexual playfulness circle try and do that they won't let you. It's a man's thing.
@@Doctordoompapito What in the universal fuck are you on about?
@@DoctordoompapitoWtf
It’s because Marcellus knows Jules is a pro, and that he is the one out of the pair that isn’t careless; he gets the job done swiftly, professionally, and with no trace, kind of like that one employee that is a major asset to a company because he brings in big money to the firm. Marcellus knows that if Jules is freaking out, it’s because the situation is really messed up and someone else messed it up for all of them.
Vincent on the other hand, is foolish, incompetent, and clumsy, as is demonstrated by his repeated mishaps throughout the movie, like leaving his heroine out for Mia or any other John Doe to grab, shooting Marvin in the face in a car moving through city streets in broad daylight, and leaving his gun on the kitchen counter to go to the toilet while his target snatches it. Vincent’s clumsiness ultimately leads to his death.
I love how Jimmie's so mad at Jules and Vincent but he still makes them coffee. But boy does he chew them out over Marvin.
I think he just made a pot of coffee for him and Bonnie when she got home, but then here come these two chucklenuts.
@@KillThad Doubt Bonnie was having coffe after a night shift
@@Nathanhodgeon13 I always did. It was something nice and warm to drink before going to bed.
@@KillThad Caffeine before bed is an odd option.
I don't think he made it specially for them, i used to prepare a teapot (about 6 cups of tea) directly after breakfast. If guests came, I'll pour them some. No one came I'll drink them all.
Travolta taking the sip of coffee at 1:31 is an incredible touch
How so?
@@sharonjo7630
The timing, and the sip being used as a subtle deflection from the question Tarantino asked, as if he was completely excusing himself from any responsibility for the situation (which was all his fault to begin with), and was foisting it all upon Jules.
Ou6i7789
@@AZ-kr6ff it's actually because a few minutes earlier Jules gets pissed at Vega because Vega is being an asshole, doing things like wiping the blood off his hands with Jimmie's nice bathroom towels. He basically tells Vega to keep his mouth shut so that Jules can sweet-talk Jimmie. When Jimmie starts yelling and things aren't going well, Vega turns to him and sips his coffee, kind of like saying, "Yeah Jules, I can see you're handling this situation really well."
@@r.f2173
That's actually an excellent observation hahaha.
I hadn't considered that
Wolf arrives. Drinks coffee. Says "clean it up".
He solves problems.
Problems in, Wolf in, Problems out, Wolf out.
I like how Marsellus keeps asking for more details because he wants to know who to send and Jules is panicking so hard that he doesn't really answer Marsellus' question, but just barks at him to send in the heaviest of hitters. You'd think you can't talk to the boss like that, but Marsellus goes above expectations by sending in the Wolf, which calms Jules down immediately and then Marsellus pokes fun at Jules for freaking out. It feels more like a conversation between brothers than a conversation between boss and subordinate. Also, it's hilarious as fuck.
Why are body disposal scenes always hilarious
czcams.com/video/UrGPdvrEEGI/video.html
I guess because everyone is extremely stressed but as a viewer you get to sit back and not be stressed and laugh at the situation. it would be different, say, if you HAD been in this situation for real before. then the stress would be real for you too and it wouldn't be so relaxing and funny.
The one in John Wick is 50/50
"This a bad time?"
"Who the f-"
"You're always going to have trouble moving the body in one piece..."
You can tell Tarantino had a little bit of trouble remembering some of the lines here 🤣🤣
bad acting...
@@uraigroves7898if he had the ability to lift his eyebrows while acting, I bet it would have been more realistic. But here, he acts like he is only acting in this because he’s the director and can do whatever he wants 😂
I love that Jimmy isn't scared of being arrested or going to prison he just doesn't wanna get divorced
for males in the USA divorce is worse than prison. that's why.
@@LadyFairChildVideofair enough

Censoring Pulp Fiction is like pissing into a soup you're about to eat
If you're gonna watch Pulp Fiction and you don't wanna hear any cursing, you might as well just watch the movie on mute. Because if you want the dialogue beeped out, it's gonna sound like a cardiac arrest.
Demonitization.

I like how Vincent is completely cutting himself off from the interaction when it's all his fault.
I did that when I was a kid watching tv with my parents and it was way past my bedtime. Solid strategy
But you know what's on my mind right now? It ain't the coffee in the kitchen.
It's the Big Kahuna Burger. Did you save any for me? I want you to go to the car and get me that burger right now.
I always wondered how these two met each other and what did Jimmy do before married life, and how come Jules tolerates his bs attitude.
He got involved peripherally in Marcellus' enterprises because he got together with Bonnie, who is a family member of Marcellus.
I would call his attitude entirely appropriate. I’d be pretty pissed off dealing with this at 8am too.
@@pianospawn1 Seriously, if you can't have some attitude about THIS? What the hell are you ever gonna be mad at lmao
Are you not human? They come over to his house uninvited in the morning to store a dead body while they’re covered in blood. Pretty sure you’d be pissed about that too and let the person get away with ranting
tolerate it bc he's a friend and the only one in the neighborhood that can help him out
Next time, just post a video with one long beep.

Samuel Jackson suits the role very well. He really looks the part.
Quentin is actually a quite capable actor.
he's okay. the lines are f***** great, hes an awesome writer.. but you can tell he's acting here, if you know what I mean. Quentin gets better over time tho, although he was more believable telling his Madonna dick story.

Travolta & L. Jackson were sensational in that movie. Though I'm not a fan of Tarantino, but I watch the movie for them.
Wat
Imagine Tarantino yelling at Jackson, that he's not repentant enough, when he yells at him as Jimmie.
I mean he can yell at him and literally request him to react anything he wants.
"Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep"
Master piece
3:10 I love when he looks the phone lol

Gotta have some serious clout to be yelling at your boss like Jules did...
Thats the f*** "PIEEEP" best scene ever!
Good conversation
Goddamn Jimmy, this is some serious gourmet shitt!!
this line kills me every single time
This is Road Runner meets Pulp Fiction!
Jules and Jimmie have to have a serious friendship if hes able to just drop the harsh n right in front of him like that. Little things like that make you think in a Tarentino movie, aside from the fact that its Tarentino himself
I like that Jimmie brewed them all coffees before having this conversation.
tarantino absolute gods blessing ultimate genious ten times over of einstein
"Don't fuckin Jimmie me Jules!"
Censorship sucks.

Can we all just take a moment to acknowledge Tarantino's acting skills?
I used to drive by Quentin Tarantino’s Mansion on Mullholland Drive in the Hollywood Hills all the time.
I always wanted to paint up a sign that said “Dead BLEEP storage. “
But I would’ve been arrested for a hate crime.
But all the tourists on the Hollywood Bus tour would’ve really enjoyed it.

If only Marvin had an opinion.
good thing it's censored, i wouldn't want my kids to hear those awful words while these gangsters are trying to figure out how to clean up the dead body in the car, and the brain matter in their hair.
frl dawg wah do dem people yah.
Ok, I give up, why post this and neuter the scene by bleeping out the curse words? If you're going to do this to everything on your channel, maybe you should post Disney stuff instead.
Censoring a Tarantino film has to be illegal I’m sorry it’s just wrong
While people point out that it's funny that Jimmy's priorities are in the wrong place I actually like to think that it's deeper than that. Jimmy knows his wife better than Jules does, so he's probably convinced that he could talk her out of calling the police on them. But that would cost him his marriage to her, basically she would do this one thing for him in honor of her love and marriage to him but after that she would leave him. Hence why he's freaking out about his wife leaving him vs. going to jail.
I need to show this to my husband because I'm about to go Bonnie and he needs to handle his shit.
-BEEEEP-
don t insult the film with those beeps please, just let original sound go on
A good 1/3 of the dialogue is just beeping
The only reason this scene exists is so that Tarantino could go off like a nuke!
Can’t watch this with all the beeps. Utterly unbearable.
