Thank you so much! Will do!
I literally thought when I saw punching. The client may have not been keeping up with reti. You have made me understand very clearly. Thank you xoxo
You're welcome A
You’re a treasure! I have loose ends and noticed bunching, which initially concerned me. Now I see that it’s just an exciting part of the journey. I’m glad you thoroughly explained this 😊
So happy to hear that
This is the most technically informative video I've seen in a long time; 10/10
As general example of a question being addressed; it deals with the topic showing obvious knowledge, gives relevant and different examples, makes sense and avoids unnecessary information
Wow, thank you🥰!
This was very good info, i'm glad to note that bunching is a necessary process of the locking process.
@@alanaquestelles6110 glad you enjoyed it
BEST VIDEO EVER!!! So glad i watched this video ...just the info i needed to keep trusting the process! Love the examples too❤
Thank you
Your videos are so informative and you don't rush through things. Thanks for that!
You are so welcome!
Love your content. You look great in your white sweater! Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge! Blessings!
Thank you so much!
Love your channel, I'm binge watching videos to help me understand how to care for sisterlocks.
I get my locks installed soon, Jan 4th, I am super excited.
Wishing you even more success in the new year.
Awesome! Thank you!
Great content and close up examples! You took me to school 🤗. Thank you 😊
😀 I'm so glad!
Thank you so much. Your videos are always so informative. I spent the past weekend fixing my besties bunching locs. Knowledge is power. I wish we knew all of this when she started her journey. The loctitions she has been seeing need your knowledge. 😑 Have a blessed day! 🤗💞
Thank you
Thank you for your expertise and simple explanations. I understand better now, based on hair type. So good.
You're welcome!
Makes so much sense.Thank you so much beautiful! And your hair is beauuuutiful!
Thank you so much!!
Wow. This is EVERYTHING. Iys been 8 years and i have 4c hair with interlocking method and my ends were relaxed. I initially got locs for a uniformed look. I have bunching/thick ends and can't stand it, cut 2 inches of hair and had loose ends which freaked me out and afraid to cut more. Haven't known what to do for a long time and your info relieves me so much. Now I know what to do. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
You're very welcome!
I needed this video. I’m 17 months sisterlocked and I have some bunching. It’s been concerning me for some time and I even reached out to a loctition to see if she did loc fixes. I’m going to be patient but I have a retie Wednesday and I’ll bring up my concerns with her and see what she says
Thanks so much, new subscriber. Just stumbled on your channel and watching this video. I am 4 months locked with 4c hair (started with 2 strand twist then 3 point rotation for retying). Was experiencing a lot of bunching and it bothered me but after listening to you, I feel a lot better.
Glad to hear that😊
I’m so glad to have come across your video because I was wondering why I have knots in my locs. Thank you for explaining
You are so welcome
Omg thank you so much for this!!!!!! I experienced so much bunching because a lot of my ends were left open and my curl pattern is a little loose, I had to have my ends fixed because I didn’t like the way they were looking. I lost a lot of length on some locs because of that
You are so welcome! Glad you were able to get them fixed.
This video was well put together and very informative. .Thank you from someone with starter locs. Helped tremendously ❤
Glad you enjoyed it

Thank you for this information. I watched multiple of your videos before locking and have returned to them as my locks have progressed. This was a very informative video and helped me not to worry about this natural part of my hair journey.

Thank you for this video. I have a loc that’s bothering me it has a knot at the end and I wanted to mess with it and you made this just in time because of this video I’m going to leave it alone. Thank you I appreciate you. ❤️
You are so welcome!
You have helped me soooo much to understand exactly what it is about my locs that I'm not happy with. I have 2" or more of loose ends and I just sent my loctician a msg asking to how to get those loose ends interlocked--- I have sisterlocks. I have to personally twist the end of each loc every week or after ever wash for a more uniformed look because it looks crazy with that much frizzy ends and I don't like that look on me. I've had my locs for 5 months now.
Are you still banding when you shampoo your locs?
Awesome demonstration!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you 🤗
Very informative! I am almost 5 months into my SL journey and am embracing any bunching I experience.
Thank youuu!!!

This is an amazing video, hands down. I have very small interlocked microlocs established a10 weeks ago. I had 14"-15" when established and an avg of 3" loose, heat-damaged hair. I prefer the uniformed look, so it'll be interesting to see what happens. I know I won't want the larger ends, but I'm here for the journey.
Thank you! 😊
Thank you so much Ms. Beauty for explaining the bunching process. (Covid) For two+ years I actually thought I did something wrong to my hair because the shaft was thinner than the ends, I’m so relieved to see your demonstration of your own strands. I love the way you teach. There are a lot of us out here with locks and don’t understand what we have. Again thank you Ms. Beauty 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 ❤️❤️
So happy that you found this useful!
Yes, you are helping. I have looser hair at the nape of my neck and when self installing I twisted those in the "kitchen" due to laziness( my arms were hurting from doing all those braids lol), didn't know better so at first I paid them little attention. After a few months I noticed them getting short and fat. I was thinking to cut them off but now I realize it's natural bunching so maybe I'll leave them alone to see what they do next!🥰
Yes, leave them babies alone. As it continues to loc and solidify, it will condense.
This was so informative and helpful. I am am 4 months in and started my locs on 12/20. I am having bunching more so in the back of my hair, but on the sides also. I was concerned and not sure why this was happening, but you explained it perfectly. I do have loose ends on a looser curl pattern that started with 2 strand twists, so it all makes sense. I don't mind some of it, but it also gets on my nerves too.
Glad you found the video helpful🥰
Thanks for sharing, makes a lot of sense🙂
Thanks for watching
TFS! I'm 14mths into my microlocs journey and started with two-strand twists. I've experienced bunching on some of my locs and at first was like oh no don't like this! My loctician explained it was typical due to my curls and because we started with twists and honestly now I like the bunching... reminds me of the butterfly locs 🤭
Yessss, natural butterfly locs. I'm glad you're embracing them. People pay to get faux butterfly locs installed when we grow them naturally. In this video here, I talk all about it czcams.com/video/w8GVLUMQehg/video.html
@@EnToiBeauty yes! You're Absolutely right! It's definitely important to trust the process despite how hard it can be lol. Will check out new subbie!
@@thisnaturalgirlislocd Welcome!
Yessss!!! I’m 18 mo, my locs are beautiful
But i watched another video & one lady explained its because of my curls. I was so relieved 😅 . I normally go every 5-6wks and on week 4 i wash & deep condition. But i think im going to just deep condition on week 5 so she can keep my locs looking right lol
Ok this was amazing. So bunching isn’t necessarily bad, because that was my main concern. I don’t mind it but I was concerned because I didn’t know if it was supposed to be happening or not so I needed more knowledge and this video provided that. Thank you. I am no longer concerned.🙏🏾
Finding your chanel before installning my micro locs, I think God is on my side in this new journey. Thank you for your informative videos. You are a good teacher, you have a good heart too. stay blessed...
Thank you 😊
Thank you for this informative video. I am 6 weeks into my journey and I have watched tons of videos, but was specifically looking for information on bunching. I started with small coils and had a retwist at 4 weeks. All the videos say "trust the process", which I am working hard to do, but the bunching was concerning me. I am more at ease now after watching your video. I am excited for the weeks ahead. Thank you!
@sabeas5550 glad you found this helpful 🩵🩵🩵
This was so useful. I’m interlock 🔒 & Ive got bunching in some of my locs, it scared the heck out of me 🤣🤣
Thanks for explaining this ✊🏾
Glad it was helpful!🥰
Very informational thanks for sharing ❤
You're welcome!
This video is extremely informative and necessary for persons like me who was very concerned. I have had bunching because I have a softer texture and I started my locs as 2 strand twists. Mine was quite bad to the point where they hair matted on each other just leaving string to bottoms and it was short and stubby. My loctician and her consultants go through and fix whenever necessary and she advised some of your tips as well, so now I am protective styling between retightenings. I sent her this video as well to see if we can employ some of your other useful tips. Thank you so much and keep these nuggets of wisdom flowing - We need it to remain sane, now!
Glad it helped 🤗
Sak PA Se??? I love the way you explain things in your videos, you are so detailed, and straight to the point. I am planning on locking my hair and your videos been so informative....I love it...love your attitude. Happy New Year!!
Merci anpil cheri!
Thank you!!! I have a very loose curl pattern and LOTS of bunching after starting this process 3 months ago. This video makes me feel much more confident about the bunching. Thank you. I now understand what is happening to my Sisterlocks. I am 4 months in and my lock is bunching a lot. The information you presented will help.
You are so welcome!
Your Sisterlocs color and cut curl pattern are gorgeous. Your make up looks great 😌!! You looking extra cute 🥰 on this video. Great info my 13 months Sisterlocs are fine thin low density so I’m prone to slippage and bunching. Needless to say I’m experiencing bunching lol. But I don’t mine cause I like the frizzy fullness to cover my scalpiness lol. Loving my journey
Aww, thank you so much!! I'm so glad you are enjoying your loc journey. I had a family photo shoot that day so I was all made up and had to record my video that day as well. It was a busy and late night for me.
You’re examples are great. I have all of that going on.
Thank you! If you find it undesirable, ask your loctician to help you out. But keep in mind that if you're in the beginning stages of your locs, they'll continue to condense and be more compacted. Once you are completely locd, you can trim the ends if you'd like.
@@EnToiBeauty it doesn’t bother me at all. I trust the process. My loctician says my hair and scalp are healthy. 3 yrs 04/2022 🙌🏾🙌🏾

Makes total sense. Love the examples. Does the hair eventually become more uniform if left alone? Thanks for sharing. So informative!💕
Yes it does for most people not all.
Thank you! Your hair looks great! How did you get that curl pattern?
Thank-you for keeping me from having a stroke! My hair is awful and I didn't know what was going on...I hate it...hopefully I will be able to get my Sisterlocks fixed.

You’re helping me. I’m a week in, didn’t find you before I got my sister locs …cause I jumped and didn’t look 🤣😂😂 now I’m watching video 🤣😂😂😂
😃 I did the same thing. I saw someone with them, looked at a couple of pictures online and jumped on it. It's a journey...enjoy it!
I'm so glad you made this video. I haven't finished watch it yet but in just the first few minutes you said what I'm always telling my clients. Bunching is apart of some ppls locking process mostly looser curl patterns has the most noticeable bunching but even tighter textures bunch but because the coils are smaller it's not as noticeable. As the hair starts to lock and form and draw up basically it's like some curls tend to draw up more then curl outward. Everyone makes it seem like it's the worse thing ever giving ppl false hope about what their locks may look like.
Yes to all of it! I keep reminding them it's the process. But everyone wants their locs to look like someone else's.
I appreciate your content. I wish I had found you two years ago before starting my locks. I have thick high density and my ends are thick. Cannot do a nice ponytail. 😢☹️ I want to start over.
Can you just trim the ends?
Amazing and informative video ☺️
Thanks a lot 😊
So glad I came here today . I have sisterlocks . My hair is naturally loose curl I started with long install ( 13 months in) . My hair started looking short and wavy bunches . I was freaking out . I still am 😅. I understand better watching this video it’s necessary.
I'm glad this video helped
Great Video!
Thank you
Great content. I have sisterlocks and some of my bunching looks like butterfly locs which I love but my Loctician suggested that they were corrected so I won’t develop thick ends.
Thank you! Yes, if you don't want thick ends, you have to address it.
Very helpful for me xoxo
Such a awesome video and explanation, thank you so much. My bunching bothered me entirely too much, it drove me crazy. I’m still considering just starting completely over and going with a different size and method.
Do you only have bunching at the ends? If so, you can just cut your hair above the bunching (given that you're locd already).
@@EnToiBeauty yes, that’s exactly what I decided to do so I’m a lot more relieved.
@@relaxme5919 awesome!
Great info. Can u do a video on how to mositure low porosity and high porosity. My stylist is telling me to only put oil in my hair, the oils sits on my hair. When I was loose natural I would wet my hair to kositIrize than add oil to seal and that worked for me. I've been liced for 6 months

Oh so what you are saying is to leave my hair alone? Got it lol. I was so worried about the bunching on my 2 strand twist locs because the ends started to look thinner beyond the bunching point. Excellent presentation! TY!!! Oan: You look GORGEOUS!😍🤗😉
Very informative. Thank you! I've been locked for 2.5 years. I have LARGE sisterlocks of varying sizes (wasnt what I paid for, but that's for another day) and a whole lotta bunching. My previous loctician never bothered to maintain or correct and kept telling me its fine. Now I feel like I'm stuck with it. How do I correct at this point? Or what do I look for in a loctician who can correct? Locticians like you are unicorns and no one seems willing to do it.
So sorry to hear that has been your experience so far. I know that can be very frustrating all around. If the bunch is at the ends, you trim your hair to get rid of the bunching on the ends. Or since it's been 2.5 years you can stretch the ends to smooth it out (example of that is on my recent live stream). When going with a loctician, check to see if they do repairs and itf it's apart of the retightening process. Some locticians have it as a separate appointment. But trust your instinct when you get a feeling/vibe about someone even during the phone call.
Hello, first I would like to thank you for sharing some info with us throughout our sister locks journey. 🙏🏾 I’ve watched a couple of CZcams videos on sister locks, they’ve giving some good advice. I’m in my 18months sister locks journey, and to tell you the truth I thought I was doing a good job by taking care of them but I’m not. I really didn’t think getting sister locks was going to be a serious process like when I went natural. I have a color on my locks I never use a leave in conditioner or conditioner after I color. And now I have bunching, my locks are dry. I have watched your five favorite water-base leave in conditioners. Since my hair is colored what would be the best shampoo and conditioner to use after coloring? Please and you’re God sent to us🙏🏾
If your locs are mature, check out the olaplex system. It is meant to restore color treated hair.
thank you for that because i have alot of bunching
