Glenn is talking from her new home in Bozeman, Montana, where she moved last December to be near her 3 siblings. In a recent interview she said that, since she began her busy acting career, she hasn't remained in any residence for the duration of four seasons, up until now. I wish her well and maybe her luck will now change and Uncle Oscar may be more considerate this time around.
Saw this movie tonight with my daughter. What an extraordinary performance and story! Very poignant movie, especially for anyone who grew up poor and has achieved some measure of success in life despite humble beginnings ... and have overcome family obstacles or drama!
Glenn Close is always transformed to character she plays, amazing just amazing!!! She also always snubbed for Oscars but you cannot burry a diamond to shine!!! I have a great respect for her work as an artist and also to support people with mental health issues. Love you Glenn Close!!!!!
Amazing movie. Glenn Close was stellar . Ron Howard is a genius at his craft. The story of JD Vance is sad, wonderful, inspiring, difficult and much more. I ordered his book after I saw the movie. I still see the family pictures and wonder what hardships they endured and hopefully overcame. Just a great snippet of the American experience that we need to see and better understand.
