I sent my ext. HDD to a repair shop that claimed they could recovery data and I got a call today that I had deleted my partition (which is what I figured I did). It worked for me. Accidentally deleted my USB HD partition. Found this program, AOMEI, and it restored the partition and everything is working fine. Restored it within like 5 minutes.

Thank you, Fahad Iqbal. A deleted partition doesn't linger for long. It mainly depends on how recent the deletion occurred. The more data written to the drive, the less likely you are able to recover the deleted partition. Dynamic Disks do not work like Basic Disks. In fact, only Windows 2000, 7, 8, FreeBSD, and Linux kernal 2.4.8 or higher can work with dynamic Disks. AOMEI's Tech Support may help you more than I can with Dynamic Disks. The Pro version does have a trial version available. -MF
I tried a bunch of different software (EaseUS, Recuva, DiskTest, Find and Mount 2.32) and this was the only one that could find my partition. Recovered it in about 5 seconds when the other software tried to do long deep searches that just failed.

If you still have the partition being shown in 'My Computer' then a software called 'Recuva' can do recover everything too..
also, this software will be able to do it too I guess

I have problems with a SD card (where I stored photos). One day it suddenly jumped from the FAT32 file system to RAW and I cannot convert it back to FAT32!!!!
