    The whole thing with the fascia made me smile, because that's exactly the kind of thing I find myself doing. Things have to be finished, or I'll fixate about it 😆
    Love your artistry, man.

    Nice! It’s the carving that makes it great. The basic construction is straight forward, but the cracked concrete and weathered look. Wow. Looking forward to seeing it with the rock work and paint.

    Jason, the layout was looking pretty good before you added the fascia, but somehow adding it (and especially painting it) really does set it all off, pulling the whole thing together. Really nice work there.

    Jason, looking great as always! I'm amazed with the effects you get using pink foam. I notice that in all of the camera shots, you have a Pratt (or is it Howe?) truss bridge oriented upside down. Please, please tell me you don't intend to install it that way! I see so many modelers who think that bridges can just be flipped upside down as though that didn't impact the bridge design. If you want to install a truss bridge below the tracks, that's great - you just need to provide abutments at either end of the (rightside up) bridge, and provide some track support at either end of the bridge. See, for example, Campbell #761.

    You never disappoint cranking up the motivational juices. I am surprised you painted your facia but understand you putting it up. It really looks great. Have you ever tried the tissue paper technic for adding water? Been going back over past videos to refresh on how you did things and painting. My Saw mill build is about 85% done, thanks for the inspiration to use wood.

    The fascia really does give a finished look to it, bravo! Do you plan to pour your water, or just use an acrylic product like Mod Podge? If you pour, will you have some sort of permanent dam on the edge, or just a temporary piece to contain it?

    • @JasonJensenTrains
      @JasonJensenTrains  Před 2 lety +1
