What do you mean by rickety? I think his playing evolved more from the 60's to when this was recorded(1991) than most of his peers from the 60's. Page and Clapton couldn't play at this level in 1991, Johnny Winter and Carlos Santana sounded almost exactly as they did in the 60's at this time.
I'm a Fan since 1967, of this amazing Band
Greatest band ever.
God Alvin Lee was AWESOME♥♥
I was lucky enough to see them live at the Grande ballroom here in Detroit and Man, did they swing!

Imagine if Alvin replaced Mick Taylor after he left the Stones.
Is that Leo Lyon on bass???
I’m not sure if that’s Leo Lyons because in the 90s he recorded two albums with his band called Kick. But possibly toured with Alvin Lee.
That's Leo alright no one sounds like Leo plays Bass like a Guitar...
@@brettbaker9416 I thought it was. Thanks for verifying
His guitar playing style had never changed. His fingering was fast, but his scales were rickety. I was tired of it.
Rickety?a master on the geetar......he so bad people packed venues to see him...who is your favorite George Benson? Jon McGlaughlin?
@@EricSlagle I don't need to listen to someone who misspells guitar & McLaughlin. lol.
