The respect BB shows to each one of the band is enjoyable
we will never forget him !
Apart from the beautiful musicianship of all the artists on stage, that is the clearest concert footage I've seen from the early 90s. Really good cameras and recording media. This is at a time, before Personal Computers were in everyone's homes, let alone mobile phones.
Maravilloso.El más grande.
Just on of the big blues men. Nobody treats the guitar like him. And a good guy ❤
Been a long time without listening to BB ... and it doesn't matter. It's always absolutely fucking incredible to see him playing . Never gets old
Maravilloso el más grande
Gotta love B.B. Breaks his high E string and continues singing while he installs and tunes a new one!
Those high e strings are a bitch since they're so small too.
lengendary moment ! simply class
There is everything I love so much at BB's music. He performed the same year in Budapest, I was there. Wonderful memory!
They called Elvis the king. For me there was only one King. B.B! He still is, he lives on ❤.
Grande BB. KING È STATO IL PRIMO MUSICISTA FATTO PARLARE LO STRUMENTO SU CUI SUONARE.
Magnifique moment avec BB.King love 🎧🎸💕🎤🤩🙏Magali 🐾 🎶🐦🎼🐓🌳🚴♀️❤Music 💯
You can certainly see why he's the King. What performer. An absolute expression of joy.
Still in good voice and guitar playing, this was one of his greatest later performances.
C'ero....in terza fila con mio padre. E qualche giorno prima ci vedemmo e ascoltammo Paolo Conte.
Я был с тобой
Increíble. B.B. King es el más grande! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
this is music 🍉♥
HONOR THE FATHER one of the Giants
Amazing concert! Pure perfection!
I was so lucky to see him in 1979 at Lake Tahoe. Class act.
the trumpet guy was high on something good... long live the king, we miss you riley!!!
nobody recording the show by hold their god damn phone, everybody enjoying the show at the moment, that't the real joy of being a legend concert like this.
Smart phones weren't around back then. Even flip phones didn't have video on them back then either. Today they would be recording on their phones. Just saw Buddy guy last year, and hate to say, even those my age had their phones out recording, and I'm 60+
Shows are different now with hundreds of phones in your way. Worst is people talking loud when show is going on. Show some respect to fans and artists.
Dude that was back in 1993 😂
68 year old....this man is the man!!
This man was a giant on stage , a master like few artists...Fantastic performance, glad to watch it...🙏👋👋👋 And the band is simply great...
Bello/Magnifico.😭👑👑👑👑👑👑
Merci.
I wish I could’ve seen him live.
Oh yeah. I have seen him with this band SO many times live 🤩
Lucky you. I've never seen him live.
What a band !!!!❤
The King of blues.
I saw him in Marciac around this period, fantastic from 93 the best concert with the last concert in his pub in Memphis, quality is phenomenal thank you for sharing !
I sneaked backstage at Harrah's Tahoe and shook his hand in 1980. A gentlman for sure,
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow, I’m so impressed with the great video quality available from 1993! Beautiful. Thank you!
From Italy... Great man...💝
This version of the thrill is gone is the best, by far.
Pleasing imagery unknowingly building our nests, then we're gone.🐬
Absolutely brilliant!
Wow the best show I’ve seen, I love the attack of his guitar and the voice, all the boys playing perfect ♥️
B.B. King - 🙂🎸 King Of The Blues - 🎸 🙂
Great music ❤
❤💫
I saw Wilco once-they had a tech bring a new guitar onstage for basically every song. B.B. King, on the other hand, played one guitar for decades, and wouldn't change it out even for a broken string.
Une pointure du blues!!!!! Le regretté b.b.king.!!!
Saw him with peter green Glasgow armadillo outstanding
I love him so much
Music that speaks to the conscience takes you against your will!!

I’m so thankful for this… as someone who missed seeing the King live

at 31:32 can anybody tell me what is the song? thank u
Hey! That was the end of "Chains of Love" followed by "Caldonia". But for me the one right after "Caldonia", "All Over Again", it's just majestic.
Can any guitar player help out here, how is he phrasing that lick at 18:45? It's amazing!
Looks/sounds like this repeated:
E|-----10-----8-------|
B|---------10----10--|
G|-----------------------|
D|-----------------------|
A|-----------------------|
E|-----------------------|
He ends it by hitting 8th fret on the high E, then the 10th, then bending a whole tone up to the 12th:
E|--8-10b12-|
I personally prefer hammering on from the 8th to the 10th, feels nicer in my hands, but its' personal preference.
At the end of the day, he's playing in something commonly referred to as the "BB Box".
He plays around in minor and major scales, often pentatonic more or less. This song is in A I think, just by playing around with it at least.
Thanks for breaking that down for me!
@@RiChArDfatejn No problem, happy to try and breakdown anything else in the video for you as I get time.
It's a fun learning opportunity.
What year is this? Why wouldn’t you put up the year in the description.
It’s on the left upper corner of the video screen.
no 1080 in the app?
1993 dear...NO 1080
I’m seeing 1080p on both my iPhone and iPad. Looks great.
9:34 B.B.King
you mean what he plays directly after? Its "Caldonia", its almost a blues jazz standarts, Cab Calloway sang it too sometimes
@@ccfliegethink he means when BB enters
Whoever reading this, God knows what you are facing through, He heard your cry, He is going to deliver you. Just trust in him. Ameen
Still affected by audio distortion at 1:28:01. What a shame! You should try fixing the audio with artificial intelligence.
Unfortunately, many times throughout the concert, the sidemen play out of key during their improvisations (though they are usually in key when they are playing from the written music). This intonation dissonance is just difficult for musicians to hear while listening to what otherwise would have been a good concert.
oh yeah, wolud have been a good cocert? it's just sounds like you don't know how to listen blues dave.. hope you'll give some real concerts in your life that ''in key'' which will remind as this one...good day
@@YagzMslm Regardless of your opinion, the recording still documents that many times during improvised sections, performers played outside of the chord structure. My excellent pitch perception is one reason I was selected at age 10 to study and perform music formally. I have the equivalent of a Minor Degree in Music. I have been paid to perform blues, jazz and various forms of "classical" music in small and large bands and orchestras.
@@davetrayford yes, you are a musıcal genıus I guess and you still don't mınd to mentıon that you'd play 'ın key' so nobody with perfect pitch would offended by blues.. I mean maybe ıt's just me beıng a bıtch about that but ıt sounded a little bit strange for me at first. anyway, it is nice to know you are doing or did something good in your life with musıc though.. I could get some 'in key' recorded live concert recommendation or kind of musician/musıc group from a guy like that.✌
They all look like bb king😂
I hate blues
Oh dear, well, this definitely isn't the video for you! But, there will be some jazz and R and B elements for you to sink your teeth into.
@@sinatrasmoke9448 so kind of you😊
