I love jar jar for a reason that i can't seem to find anyone else defending him for. He's one of the nicest characters in the whole series. His entire personality is welcoming and loving. Innocent, kind, trying his best to help at every chance.
Me too tbh. I think people are too cynical and depressed nowadays working at their jobs to like a dumb awkward character with a good heart. But I like how earnest and childlike he is. To me, it’s kind of nice and heartwarming to see his antics. Reminds me of when I was a child and actually had some faith in the world.

Basically would of been yodas equivalent from the original trilogy as he pretended to be an idiot also when he met luke, but sadly jar jar was replaced by dooku after the backlash.

@@dk-ie2dd He's literally the opposite of Yoda. JJ is red, Yoda's green. JJ's tall, Yoda's short. JJ has 4 fingers, Yoda has 3. JJ talks like a street youth, and Yoda talks like a wise, old man.
Literally they killed potentially the best plots of all times. Just because people hated him. If they had got closer to the point or if people just noticed all the obvious hints at the time, he wouldn't have been hated as bad. Which I can't talk since I didn't notice it either.

Me too he’s been my favorite since childhood and the only ones who hate him are jerks who don’t care much about every fan favorite they see. All they wanna do is continue the rest of their pathetic miserable lives on the originals instead of getting to know the newcomers.

I think George tried to make a new C3P0, someone goofy, and annoying, but also lovable and funny. It backfired, but I don't hate Jar Jar at all; I kinda like how Qui-Gon stoically accepted his presence, as an actual Jedi would do.
@@jjrj8568 George said in an interview that he drew inspiration from Disney's Goofy when conceptualizing Jar Jar. I had an inkling for some time that there were some similarities between the two, and I guess he pretty much confirmed it.

Star Wars should consider giving Jar Jar Binks his own TV series, as a Musical Action TV series. When during the New Republic era Jar Jar Binks tell Mapo the tale of his time of being an Outcast the second time during the Reign of the Empire Era. Jar Jar Binks would tell a musical story where he encountered Jedi Master Kelleran Beq and young Grogu. Now attempting to redeem himself for allegedly creating the Galactic Empire, Jar Jar must help Kelleran by guiding safe passage and saving the last Jedi Initiate of the Jedi Order set to restore hope and happiness to the Galaxy.
At 9:00 you can see Jar Jar’s necklace. It has something that looks like the Crimson Dawn symbol...

Jar Jar's CGI in TPM doesn't get enough credit for STILL looking great 25 years later! Compare him to the CGI in Spider-Man 2002, or just about any current MCU film; night and day comparison!
