- If you plan on tracking the car then I would say ECS is the way to go but if you're street driving, Rogue is the way to go. Let me know what you ended up doing in the comment section.

Fritz, your videos keep getting better! Man, I need to get in my DIY vlog game already; you are so inspiring. Your ‘why’ explanation in this video is excellent!! I’ve got this on my ToDo for my 09 E90N54
Thank you Steve! I appreciate that. Why not start now? We're all stuck at home, let me know if I can help with getting started. Looking forward to your 1st video 👊
Hey Fritz, I put the Rouge Engineering mounts on my F30 N55 based on the recommendation in your video. For anyone interested in these mounts for their manual transmission I recommend them. My car has a stock shifter and by just installing these mounts they added better feedback and better shifts especially into second gear. Before it felt like second gear would be difficult to get into under medium to hard acceleration.
When you floor it does your gearstick pull forwards/ back alot that you'd notice it?
Hey fritz great video, I love the content, have you experienced grinding issues going into 2nd with your trans like many other? I've reading quite a bit and seems to be kinda common in the forums.
Good video. I am wondering if just upgrade the transmission mount and pair with stock engine mount, will the stiffer transmission part cause damage to the connection between engine and transmission?
Great! thank you
very interesting, this only comes into play if you are unsatisfied with shifting feel while driving right?
my transmission is sometimes notchy but it doesn't matter if the car is parked or driving, so i assume the mounts cant be the issue right
Seeing as we both have F22’s, and looking at rogue’s website, they seem to exclude these from the f22?
What did you end up going for? Or will those work anyway?
Hi,
Can worn out transmission mounts cause vibration shudder while accelerating?
I have changed my propshaft with all guibos and center support bearing and now i no longer get vibration at high speeds but only when i hard accelerate in 2/3rd you can feel the most.
Maybe bad tranny mounts move transmission and propshaft doesn't work correctly?
Hey does this fit the f32 n55 ?
In F10 gear mount it is 1 or 2 pieces ?
Hey Fritz, what year is your M235i?
Hey Fritz, love the videos,
Any idea on engine mount, can is it as easy as this, assuming you have to loose from the engine bay and then jack up from the base of the engine oil pan and replace.
Thank you. You're correct you'll need a support. The N55s are a bit tough especially on the 2 series just because of space. I'll be posting on on the N26 engine very soon.
Great video, can you do one for the engine mounts?
Perhaps in the future, but the stock ones are holding up fine at the moment
How much more noise and vibration do you experience with the Rouge engineering mounts? im planning on putting a SSK in soon and i want to change them all out!
NVH is very similar to stock. The shifting is improved marginally but my mounts were still in good shape. This might help out czcams.com/video/mRcJKCbDUbM/video.html
Hey fritz do you have videos on engine mounts as well?
I do not. My mounts are still holding up well.
Do these reduce notchiness at all or let you shift faster into 2nd? Most BMW manuals do not like to be rushed into second and I find it annoying to pause.
It's just a firmer feeling. For the issue you laid out, this might help you. czcams.com/video/aD3kBXHS5DI/video.html
is it also good for bmw 1 series f20 with b48 engine?
The website should have a fitment guide
Hey Fritz! How are these holding up? Is there a height difference between rogue/stock and if so is that something to worry about. I plan on doing this mod soon!
Holding up well. I would say negligible increase in NVH, and the extra firmness when going into gear is worth it. Height is about the same and I would say that there is nothing to worry about.
@@FritzRamos Yo I have a 135is, can i get these mounts too and it be similar process?
Did you get rid of the turner sport mounts in favour of these ones? I know you installed a turner sports SSK, but wondering if you use these mounts or the ones that came in that kit.
@@DrFuzzyBaIlz I use the Rouge mounts and sold the ECS ones a while back because they gave off too much nvh. The Rouge mounts are holding up well in my daily
