Monk Synopsis: Adrian Monk (Emmy®-winner Tony Shalhoub) was once a rising star with the San Francisco Police Department, legendary for using unconventional means to solve the department's most baffling cases. But after the tragic and still-unsolved murder of his wife, Trudy, the devastated Monk becomes obsessive-compulsive. His psychological disorder has caused him to develop an abnormal fear of virtually everything: germs, heights, crowds... even milk. Monk's condition costs him his job, but he's back as a police consultant despite the unique challenges he encounters in his everyday life. These challenges lead Monk to hire a personal nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram), who is always there to offer her assistance, even with the simplest of tasks (like organizing his sock drawer). Her less-than-subtle prodding keeps the "defective detective" on track in his investigations, as well as in his efforts to convince Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) to allow him to return to the force.
The Official Channel devoted to the brilliance of DI Adrian Monk; the defective San Franciscan detective, whose OCD is both a blessing and a curse. We'll be posting the very best moments from the show so, like Monk, you'll never miss a beat.

Love how Natalie knew something had to be up when she saw the uneven blinds.
Even funnier was that it wasn’t Monk deliberately trying to send a signal to her or the cops (who knew him), but it was the jury member / criminal who inadvertently helped him tip them off!
If only she’d listened, and straightened them when he asked her to! 🤣🤣
@@dmf1301why did the guy in the orange jump suit have body armor on did anyone else notice that
@@austinward1543 Sometimes really dangerous criminals who may have had death threats are given body armour when transported to and from court. The justice system has the responsibility to at least try and keep criminals safe when they transport them from prison to court and back.
And, of course, all the cops wear the bullet proof vests under their clothes so they are protected, too.
@@austinward1543 not american buuut in the crime world people tend to make enemies. a court has a easy time and location for them to meet up so to my mind it seems reasonable
@@jabonought did the people who arrested him supply him with that
For those unclear, before the scene started, the whole jury realized that she had been changing he vote depending on what would keep the trial going longer, to buy her time. So they all agreed to test her by all going along with her previous vote to see if she'd stick to it!
Monk fixing the blinds might be one of the funniest jokes in the entire series😂😂😂
Well said.
"You guys okay? Is everyone alright?" - *Everyone* shaking their heads, that's how much psychological damage they took from Monk trying to fix the blinds.
I like how polite Randy always is. "Step down, please." No matter the crime, he always instructs them with please
I lost it at the part when he was trying to fix the window 😂
I don’t blame Monk for not being particularly happy about having the tape ripped off his mouth.😅
I also love the look on the juror chairman’s face when he sees Natalie going right past him to help Monk first.😂
Randy making a joke Stottlemeyer genuinely thought was funny was so rewarding.
Ikr that was probably the funniest joke Randy made in the whole show
"Some people will do anything to get out of jury duty..." 😂😂😂
I love how American garbage containers not only have garbage bags, but also have convenient cushion mats in them just so that people don't get hurt when sliding down.
You are very observant. I could use your skills. Let's talk business.
The cushions were arranged by the criminal's allies ahead of time.
And garbage bags--yes, of course. Do people in your country carry their garbage out to the dumpster behind the building one piece at at time?
"I'll be back in a minute. I just blew my nose and I have to take the used tissue outside to the dumpster."
@Pegasus If the building is under construction or repairs, it is common to have a chute with a dumpster underneath it so workers can throw scrap wood etc. into it.
@@slake9727 Good point, Slake. I think I'll remove that part of my comment.
Thanks for catching me on that.
She´s the most Beatyfull Ballet Teacher ;-)
This is one of those episodes in which Monk solving the case was pretty inconsequential. Even if he had no idea what was going on, Emmanuelle Vaugier would have tied them up (she had the supplies to do so, indicating that was her plan all along) and Natalie would have noticed the lopsided blinds.
The one thing he did do was guess that the dude was going to escape via the garbage chute. Though, personally, I doubt he would have gotten far anyway.
he also solved the case for the court - of the stabbing
He also almost evened the blinds with that knife 😂😂😂😂
LOl the scene "NO ID" NO IDEA? NO, I, D." NO Idea?" NO ID!!!" NO IDEA?
the funniest part is that she likely would have gotten away with it had she evened the blinds.
Mia has always been trouble ask Charlie 😂😂
Natalie is great at her job helping Monk. 😅 I love this show! ❤
Hello there Rebecca, how are you and where are you watching from?
His assistant Sharona was good, but I absolutely LOVE Natalie ❤❤❤ I was a fan of Traylor Howard before this, so I was so happy when we find out that Natalie was going to be staying on to help Monk 😊
I agree: I would do anything to get out of the jury duty.
I've only done jury duty once, but it was an interesting experience. I'd be happy to do it again.
6:42 They couldn't have used a few more trash bags haha? Can see the mattress underneath
2:17 "Whatever is is Captain, we've got it covered."
5:54 ("Shots fired. third floor.") confirmed that was a lie.
6:48 is probably my favorite part of the episode. IDY.
The thumbnail has a typo 😂, Monk would not approve 🤣
Monk: I'm dying but I gotta fix these blinds
I love watching Monk
Monk is the best!
Monk solved a homicide, a mistrial (?) where the guy actually stabbed himself, and prevented a dangerous criminal escape.
The juries' reaction : who cares..let's go home
They'd all had a VERY long day or two, and were more than ready to go home.
@@Adamguy2003 The suit guy and gothic girl showed some appreciation haha
Great episode!
No ID.
No idea?? 😂😂
"See you at the reunion"...LOL
This sentence got a better meaning nowadays
6:10 - gee, good thing she didn't aim at their heads...
Juror #12 finally got out of the jigsaw trap lol.
For people who don’t understand that reference, the that juror was in saw 2 and she got her arms stuck in a jigsaw trap.
I haven't seen this episode in years. Who played Juror #12 ?
That’s Andrea Savage from Step Brothers.
Give me a break. A construction chute to a Dumpster filled with "Trash Bags". There would be so much 2x4 with nails and sharp objects in that dumpster.
# 211!!!
WHOOOOOOO..... DOGGY!!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Tape went around Monk's face twice but three times around when taken off.
Am i tripping or was there an episode where monk was frammed for stealing or something and his face was digitally altered on someone and he beat the case by pointing out that his face wasnt edited on a mirror??
i think you're tripping. maybe it was in one of the books?
@@nothamel1467 didn't even know monk had books. Now I gotta try and figure out what this show is 🤦🏽♂️... Thanks
That's not Monk. That's a different show but idk which one. It's the glass in front of a server in a server room. I'm bothered that i can't remember what show it is. I don't think it's Psych either.
@@colin2563 yeah I was looking through some psych episodes, since it was out around the same time. It's tough, man. maybe someone will come through with the answer 😅
Man I hate doing dury duty
Odd that the jury room is stocked with gaffers tape
man, i love this show. But i think they should have made Monk get through his phobias and fears a bit faster. Not so fast as to make it unrealistic, but just fast enough where, in scenes like this, he prioritizes his friends over a dumb blind malfunction.
they spelled it wrong on the cover
WTF!? Wings Hausers was in monk! Lol
dury duty?
In truth you have to admire the woman who did all that for you lol! She didn’t kill anybody, so thats just great planning lol.
She killed the original juror 12 so not really.
@@transcendtotheend oh lol I never saw actual episode 🤷♀️
Here’s what happened jury duty is a nightmare
Sure… she could take out the guard twice her size. 🙄
I skipped to the end so I’m not sure,
Is that George Lopez?
It’s Mia from 2 1/2 men
makes no sense that she did not tied the guard.
S o . what is "dury duty" ?
I love this episode, but why did the guy fake being stabbed again?
they didn't clarify :(
