Oh my god!!! I fly virtually on an international network of aviation enthusiasts and last week i flew the A350 from LHR/EGLL to JFK/KJFK. Now im doing a tour around the USA and fly back to Heathrow next weekend!

@@niralvassantilal5623 Hello!! I fly using my home flight simulator on an International network called Vatsim. Its basically real life people all over the world where some people are virtual Air traffic controllers and some virtual pilots. I am a virtual pilot.
The seat, the seat pocket, the snack box even the plastic knife looks so sleek and elegant!!!
The A350-1000 is the Rolls Royce of the skies, she is a stunning aircraft to look at and imagine that it's a very pleasant experience on board as well.
I can't believe how quiet those RR XWB's are on take off, it is unbelievable!!🇬🇧🇬🇧✌✌
Although this video is from 2019, it's a great reminder to not take things for granted in life.
I can bet you that people will be so used to social distancing and the back to front boarding even after the Covid pandemic is contained. PS: If we ever have another widespread pandemic for instance the influenza pandemic, I can bet you that everyone would be wearing masks again and be socially distanced

The a350 is really a majestic plane! Also the landing was a bit harsh.

Hard landing is mostly due to strong wind near airport area.

The seats look comfortable for economy but it's hilarious that the first row economy seat on starboard sticks out into the end of the aisle into business! At least you can see where the meal/snacks cart is during the flight! 😂

Just flew on Virgin’s a350-1000 from JFK to LHR and it was amazing!! Best flight ever. On my return journey I was on Delta’s refurbished 767. It was pretty good but didn’t come close to The Virgin a350 experience. Thank you for the consistently awesome trip reports!

Nice Trip Report! I remember the previous brutally honest review before, but always like seeing the full trip report. I’ve still to fly with both Virgin and the Airbus A350 with any airline, but really can’t wait to try them in the future! Virgin really do everything well, but need to sort out the lack of Universal Power outlets. ✈️

Flew Virgin Atlantic from LHR-ATL back in 2015...best in-flight service I ever had, I wonder if they’re still serving Tiger (a couple of those makes the flight go by faster!)

Virgin Atlantic has always been that one airline I wanted to travel all my life. And after seeing this video, I have to say it will be really worth it
Absolutely! My flights with them have been better than any other airline by far.
I flew with them to San Fran in December '21, it was my first post pandemic flight and it was brilliant. Cant fault Virgin at all and the service was excellent.

It was already pitch black outside by 3.55pm. Wow
I’m seat 60 in July. Could you see if there was a decent window seat on row 60 from where you were sat??

Virgin Atlantic is the second largest British international airline behind the behemoth that is British Airways.
While it is not a member of an airline alliance like BA (OneWorld), Delta (a SkyTeam member that is one of the three US flag carriers alongside American Airlines and United Airlines) has a minority ownership in Virgin Atlantic. Delta, Virgin Atlantic, and a number of other international carriers share T4 at JFK, possibly because of this.

Yes, I've read Virgin's A350 economy seats don't have power outlets. I find that odd, too. Premium & Upper both have power outlets. I flew in one of their A350 last August in Upper LHR-LAX. It was okay. I wasn't all that impressed with their new Upper Class Suite. It felt very "plastic" to me & the seats are narrower than in Virgin's other aircraft in Upper. Premium seats are also narrower on the A350 than in their other aircraft. Starting in late September, I'm going to try their Premium service. I live in Palm Springs so there are no direct flights. I'm uncertain which city I'll fly out of to London. Seattle, San Francisco & LAX are my best options. Thanks for the video!

I swear the second meal you got is exactly what I got on BA in Club World LHR - SEA on Valentines Day 2009. Except I had china service. I haven't flown economy since but I have to say the recent trip reports seem to indicate a vast improvement in the soft and hard product.

I flew on an A330-900 to JFK and on a 350-1000 back to LHR in may of this year. Must say the A350 is definitely better in quality in the cabin.
I´m always wondering what´s the difference between "normal" USB-ports and universal power outlets
Ac power plugs & sockets are different in each country. Different countries preferred to develop a plug of their own instead of adopting the US standard.

This will be us this time next week! My 1st time to the states my son's 3rd time.
Always wanted to travel to London's busiest airport and enjoy London for a week or two, then come back from vacation for my online summer classes. But I can bet you that from ATL to LHR, it would either be Delta or British Airways. One more fact is that from the US to London would be faster than the other way around due to the nature of the jet stream - you would be riding along the jet stream when traveling east and against it when you travel west. PS: Virgin Atlantic and Delta both provide menu cards in economy class and British Airways doesn't. *Correct me if I'm wrong
