The fuel economy is great, but the problems with the emissions on diesels since they went to DEF a decade ago SUCK and that's why my new Ford has a 7.3 Godzilla engine, instead of the 6.7 Power Stroke.
What these diesel guys are doing now with programs and bigger turbos is absolutely insane. I've seen farm trucks smoke new vettes and hellcats on the drag strip. There's only about 100 videos of it online if people want to check it out themselves. Yeah it's a truck but you can still work in it and smoke a muscle car. Not a bad combination
yeah it really sucks when it does it. If you actually launch it right the truck sometimes decides hello must pull power sometimes its like he said it bogs it makes you feel like its a delayed shift so you're not smacking gears with 1050-1200 depending on the PS you have. A tune fixed that issue. My dually 2021 went from 15.5-15.7 in the quarter too 13.8s with no extra power. Just removed the delayed throttle and got rid of the TQ limitation these trucks haul for what they are literally can haul and haul theyre insane

Most people don’t buy long box crew cab 2500s as “pavement queens” whatever that means. These aren’t off-road trucks so they’ll spend their lives on the road pulling trailers and hauling heavy.
63 miles isn't nearly enough to test mpg. A simple stop or slow down could greatly impact the results. A diesel engine could go into regen mode and greatly impact the results. Take it with a grain of salt.
When I bought my truck I only bought it to race it. I never considered anything else. However when I bought my sports car I made sure it could out tow, haul, climb, etc., better than all others 🤔

You can turn it off with a Tuner and it makes a big difference when towing or just everyday driving. I have a 2008 H2 Hummer with a 6.2L with CAI, Longtime headers and a Tune and it runs extremely well. I also have a 2012 6.2L Silverado Z71with a Caper Shell and a 3" lift on 33/12.50/18" that has a CAI, Texas Speed Cam, Longtube Headers, Fast Intake and it is an absolute Beast. I also have a 2018 Silverado with a 5.3L that has a CAI, Longtube Headers, and a Tune that is a daily driver that runs extremely well also. I run Monster Transmissions in all my vehicles and have them all tuned with Diablo Tuners, some are tuned on a Dyno as well and both trucks are Crew Cabs.
Not really a fair comparison. Why did you use high output powerstroke instead of the regular powerstroke? The price for the regular powerstroke and duramax are the same. The high output powerstroke is $3000 more.

You need to tap the traction control twice very fast. Either that or you can also push the traction control and hold it there for 6 seconds and put it on race mode. You got track mode. You do have a track mode and you can also pull out the full wheel. Drive, pull it out and locks the rear end. And now you got pause It with track mode. now hook up a 10k load on the diesels and you will see a decisive pull. Ford uses torque management on the first 3 gears (not certain on GMC) but in the mountains when towing the 1200ft lbs is where we need it.

It's true I remember watching his other videos were the MDX races against the BMW X5 and it's close. I beat the same BMW in my 2023 Tundra with TRD air filters and Carven exhaust from a dig 3 times and I had the family in the truck😂

The Toyota on the other hand has a pathetic looking interior. I was most disappointed in the interior of it when I first saw it at the Houston auto show. Easily the worst of any truck brand, even in the premium trims.
The extra weight that the Powerstroke F250 has over the Tundra matters very little when you have 1200 ft-lbs of torque turbo diesel so it’s not the reason it lost, Tundra beat it fair and square and it should. With that said the HO Powerstroke is unbelievable and crazy that it was that close. I say it was a great race for the F250

I’d say the Ford was a little heat soaked, dropped a 1/10th in the 2nd race 1/4 mile time, otherwise it would’ve been a tie.
