I have this drone had few problems with software it only worked with cfly app Which took few weeks to find out my be my phone or never worked out the problem, please do more updates and tips , i am quite new to drones only had fun toy ones
Eachine EX4 - JJRC X12 - C-Fly Faith I fought with this drone for 2 to 3 days determined to find the trick to calibrating it and I was ready to give up then I tried this and it WORKED for me over and over again so listen up and try this. 1: First Press the button on the back of the drone to turn it on. you now have a BLUE flashing light on the drone this is telling you it is trying to connect to the controller so turn the controller on and when it is connected the light on the drone will turn GREEN and it will be flashing NOW connect the phone to your controller. now on the phone, it should say in preparation, but your NOT ready to do the calibration yet, what until the light on the drone goes GREEN and is NOT flashing now on your phone, it should say READY-GO BUT It's NOT READY. NOW it's ready for the calibration because you have enough satellite lights only when the light goes green and not flashing. The lights on the controller are ONLY telling you what mode you're controller is in and NOT that you are connected to anything some people thought that. NOW this is what I MUST DO to get the dam thing to calibrate, the horizontal works fine every time BUT I could NOT get the vertical to work it would say it was a success but it was NOT. the drone was still in calibration mode. On the drone, it has a RED/GREEN light flashing which is vertical calibration mode. SO what to do? well, this works for me 7 out 10 times instead of never working at all. When you do the calibrate first off some apps say calibrating in blue on the phone when you see that it ISN'T tap the blue calibrating Button again until you see it say TURN THE DRONE the light on the drone will start flashing from green to red/blue I have seen some people try to calibrate it when it was NOT ready to do so. NOW when it says turn the drone horizontally do it about 3 times the light on the drone turn to RED/GREEN the horizontal calibration is dun and NOW the trick that works about 7 out of 10 times for me WHEN it tells you to put the camera up and turn it watch your phone and PUT the camera DOWN give it a quick half-turn then do it again if you don't see your phone then tell you to turn it again do another half turn but if you do see on your phone turn it again flip the Drone camera up words and then turn it two or three times the light on the drone should go green and not be flashing. This almost works every time for me and it's the ONLY way I can get it to calibrate. And It's JUNK
Dont Fly without a Good Amount of GPS Satellites or it will be a handful and Enjoy Fly worked ok with me. Not Close DJI Software thats for sure but a Good Drone
first time i bought this drone i dont have any problems with the Cfly app connecting to the drone and all its other functions including the calibrations but after few weeks i can no longer connect to the app and noticed that they have probably upgraded it given that the version of the app indicates V1.3.10 so i tried to download the older V1.3.9 version & thats how i was able to connect and calibrate the drone again but the video function in which the drone will record 2 videos where u will have a copy of it in ur phone memory no longer works so your photos and videos are only recorded in the drone's micro sd.
Hi guys, I have the JJRC X12 and for the money it does it for me. I have been in touch with JJRC and they sent me the link to the Enjoy Fly app. It even works on my old Samsung G900f ( S5 ) The only issue I have is with the GPS signal. If you use the mode button and fly without GPS it is as it should be, but when you go to GPS mode sometimes I get no GPS signal at all then other times I can get 5 or 6 satellites but I have not seen any more. Any one else had issues with the GPS. The other day I set it up outside and did the calibration dance then used the one press take off which initially was ok, then the drone decided it was going to slew away from me into some bushes., no idea what caused that. Anyway there it is, works ok but I think there could be an issue GPS antenna.
Necesito tu ayuda. Cuando conecto el drone a mi móvil la calidad que transmite es similar a 144p, y por su descripción dice que tiene que grabar en 1080p. Lo probé sin memoria por el momento. Todos los videos que vi no se ve así, aun aquellos que hicieron tutoriales sin memoria.. mi celular es uno de alta gama no creo que sea mi celular. Al no tener memoria tampoco pude pasar los videos a mi PC. De igual manera no se porque no se ve mejor al momento de transmitir. Necesito ayuda, ya que lo compre para grabar videos.

I think I've seen reviews of the C-Fly version, and the quality of the video isn't very good. Perhaps its better on this version. Seems they should have waited to release this when the App was finished, but that's how they do things at a lot of these toy grade drone companies from China ... just get it out the door and start selling it, even before it is fully tested .. which leads to so many disappointments and disasters. Oh well, hope you get some decent flying weather to show this one and the other one you did the unboxing on. Cheers.

mine also didn't work with gps mode and the wind has almost taken away my drone. What should we do then??? I lose the fun.

With these cheap chinese drones I've learned not to get my hopes to high and just fly it and see after how it was.
Is the x12 controller interchangeable with the x9?
They look alike might work if you rebind them.
