I love how a form that wasn’t even on screen for 30 seconds, on a 4Kids Sonic anime of all things, has garnered so much fan attention and recognition that modders have put him in almost every Sonic game lol
I mean it's not often we see Sonic get genuinely angry, let alone enough to transform into a negative Super Sonic
It's a concept that's stuck in people's minds since that episode aired

@@silverboltscrapper It's definitely got a lot of potential for storytelling and creativity in it's concept like say the Chaos Emeralds reacting to Sonic's negative emotions like Rage and Grief and he gets a massive power boost from it, I would even suggest maybe Sonic starts tapping into that dark power more but it slowly starts to eat away at his mind where he starts to rely on it too much and it starts to seep into his normal form like being more aggressive to friend and foe, the way he speaks and how he deals with problems.

Most likely because the Werehog is supposed to sound like a monster, and since Dark Sonic is a rage fueled form portrayed as a monster, I would say the voice fits quite nicely.

Actually Dark Sonic is while still a manifestation of his rage it isn't actually negative chaos energy, I would say its powered by that rage alone as there were no Chaos Emeralds but Fake Emeralds, and those were not even in his possession at the moment
I really wish Dark Sonic was canon again and brought back to other games. It would be good if he had to combat the darkness within him.
Dark Sonic should be combined with the Werehog.
@@Cyanmartinez yeah. When I was a kid and played Sonic Unleashed and he changed into the Werehog, I thought it was like a corrupted version of his Dark Form.
Dark sonic only happened because of the fake chaos emeralds there were around him in that scene though

(His eyes were basically dark sonics eyes) and his way to talk (making jokes but being serious at the same time) remains the same. So sega is like: “you wanted dark sonic? TOO BAD! You get darkspine sonic!„ but sadly he also only appeared in one game but at least he appeared.
