When I do my own nails, I always split them up. I’ll do my right hand one day and then the next day, I’ll do my left which is my non dominant hand. 😂 my kids don’t have the patience for me to do both in one night lol ( I have a 2 year old & 4 year old who always wants my attention )

Vee! Hi! I also think the sanding band is too wide so I quit using it except on acrylic fills. Now I use the kiara sky medium barrel tapered they have in their prep bit collection. It’s for the natural nail and you probably have one. I use that for all prep now except the ball bit. It takes off the shine and gets in there to remove all dead skin from nail plate and push up cuticle. Everything a mandrel does this does in one. Thought I’d share!

Wait! Now that I think of it I think the bit I’m talking about is the one you cut yourself with the one time on your channel. After I posted that I was thinking of how sharp it is and I remembered that! So yes, you have that bit. I’m telling you it’s a game changer. Give it another chance and you won’t need sanding bands anymore but for fills! ❤

I do my own nails at home. Thankful someone told me to work on my dominant hand first because once I’m out of patience, at least the dominant hand will be easy to do. Love the flowers!!

What do you use to clean your brush between colors?
I feel like my brushes fray away at the tips pretty fast. I've used acetone to clean them, alcohol, and brush cleaner
Just a dry paper towel! I squeeze the bristles in between the towel & pull through to get all the gel out
