- What If CM Punk NEVER Left WWE in 2014?
CM Punk. It’s a name that continues to be chanted even though he hasn’t stepped foot in a wrestling ring in over five years. Everyone who watched wrestling from the beginning of the decade liked CM Punk. He delivered the best promos and even showed off his in-ring skills by giving fans a five-star classic match with John Cena at Money in the Bank. CM Punk even held the WWE championship for a total of 434 days before losing it to the Rock at the Royal Rumble. It seemed that Punk was going to be WWE’s biggest star alongside John Cena. However, things just continued to get worse and worse. One of CM Punk’s main concerns was never getting the chance to main event WrestleMania. He believed that his match with Orton at WrestleMania 27 was better than Miz vs Cena.
He also thought since he was WWE champ, it would have been a no brainer to have him and Jericho main event WrestleMania 28, but they lost the spot to a part-timer known as The Rock. Finally, he felt that himself and The Undertaker could have been a great match at WrestleMania 29 with the Streak and title on the line. But WWE went ahead with another Cena vs Rock match no one really wanted to see. As you can see, this was the beginning of the frustrations with CM Punk. Moving forward, Punk also got injured a few times and the WWE doctors refused to have him heal from these issues. This includes a problem with his back as well as multiple concussions.
He even was basically forced to wrestle an entire UK tour with a concussion. His animosity with the company was building up. It was at the Royal Rumble in 2014 when he snapped. He was told that he would get eliminated by Kane in the Rumble and face off against Triple H for WrestleMania 30. It’s worth noting that he and Hunter didn’t like each other too many times because of when Hunter tried to bury him at Night of Champions in 2011. Anyways, Punk was sick and tired of taking a back seat and allowing another part-timer, this time Batista, take a spot in the main event of WrestleMania.
He never showed up to Monday Night RAW and practically quit the company. WWE would go on to terminate his contract and legally fire him on his wedding day. Clearly, he had quit but so many people in comments think he quit but that was just politics by Vince McMahon. However, today we are going to step into my DeLorean and go back in time and change history. We are going to ensure that CM Punk is happy and stays with the company. There are going to be many butterfly effects and this should be an interesting alternative. Let’s see what would happen if CM Punk never left WWE in 2014.

This was a year ago but the best thing this year heading into next year is Roman Reigns heel turn and its a awesome turn of events having Roman as a heel this is what he should’ve been back in 2015 instead of having him as a heel and Seth Rollins having his Burn It Down gimmick developed early and Dean Ambrose becoming The Lunatic Fringe early as well but is more psychotic

With Lesnar intertwined in that feud I think we could get some banger matches, Brock VS Cena VS Roman, who knows who you'd have win there. Hell you could add The Demon Finn Bálor to that match and Finn could pin Cena or Roman. He's never pinned Brock but he has pinned Cena and Roman

Pllana's "What If" Storyline for CM Punk Is still excellent to me now that it Rewatch it, but there's some things I think Pllana should've changed for The events of CM Punk's career in his timeline:
During The Events of 2014's Royal Rumble Match, CM Punk would be eliminating other Wrestlers In The match trying to Win it all but Triple H appears as one of the surprise entrants in the match. During The Match, HHH ends up eliminating CM Punk which costs him the chance to Main Event WM and woud set up HHH And CM Punk's hatred In real life.
The 2 final Royal Rumble Participants would be Triple H & Daniel Bryan, and Daniel Bryan manages to Eliminate HHH And Main Event WrestleMania.
WrestleMania 30: CM Punk vs. Triple H - No Holds Barred Match With CM Punk's career On The Line (CM Punk wins)
After CM Punk moves on from His Feud with Triple H & The Authority and Daniel Bryan gets his sweet WrestleMania victory, Punk starts A new feud with Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules Instead of Kane which means Daniel never gets his Neck Injured by Kane.
CM Punk would defeat Daniel Bryan and become Champion and the 2 would have a Rematch at Battleground for the Title. I would still keep the part where Brock Lesnar ruins it and the rest of the events in Pllana's Timeline.

CM Punk from the beginning was pretty good. It’s a shame that everything turned out the way it did. The man would’ve easily been a hall of famer. AJ Lee maybe as well, although she didn’t really have enough time to have an amazing career.

Returns at the Rumble to win the title and ends the show by hugging with The Authority. Dropping the title to Ambrose, not Roman, could've been cool.
DGenerationMC Actually 31 wasn’t about wearing down Brock for Seth’s cash in, the original plans were legit for Roman to go over and win the WWE title but they saw the backlash from Roman winning the Rumble so Seth cashing in was a last minute decision.
28 and 29 were undoubtedly Punk’s years to main event. Especially 29

WrestleMania 29 defiantly should have been his though, without question. Either with Undertaker or with Cena and the Rock in a three way. Although I personally believe that if punk stayed it would be like a Chris Jericho at WrestleMania X8 scenario where he would never Main event again.

I wouldn't say "No one" Wanted a Rock Cena Rematch but to once again make it the main event and worse still the title on the line was completely unacceptable and it's not difficult to understand why Punk was so frustrated! Wrestling needs him back in some capacity. Maybe AEW should test his resolve with a lucrative offer as an Announcer with the option to get back in the ring if he wants to at some point. I'd freaking love Punk to return as even a commentator. I miss his skills on the mic as much as I miss him in the ring
