There's just something about him! Not a HUGE fan, but at the same time he's definitely one of my biggest wrestler crushes. His matches were actually usually really good, but I think I was to distracted by the sexiness to really appreciate his actual talent😁
The majority of mma fan reaction to him is just one of the things that made start to lose my taste for it. The disrespect was real and absolute bullshit, but I do respect that he didn't let it get to him.

this guy made wwe from 2010-2013 relevant. his promos are mature and made him an anti hero and not some goody two shoes face or just evil for the sake of it heel. also liked him because he was a big comic book nerd. it shows sometimes from his other interviews how deep is his knowledge in comics
He really was on track to be the next Stone Cold. A perfect blend of likeable babyface, and badass yet still easy to love heel. Almost like an anti-villain.

CM Punk is one of the reasons why I became straight edge. That and because my mother’s family’s worst enemy is cancer and my dad’s family struggled with alcohol.
I always liked the realism of CM Punk. I like the straight edge stuff....wrestlers always seem like outdated, but he always looks cool.

Punk seems like a open book in most interview and podcast, so I'm not really shocked his wiki is mostly correct.
I met CM Punk when he did a road show here in Winnipeg, he was such a douche towards everyone who was meeting him, he pushed his way through and didn’t want anything to do with the fans but I believe he was in character outside of WWE to keep his character hated by the WWE universe.
I heard he is actually quite the nice person
Punk had a very old school wrestling mentality. He’d be in character no matter what. He was just keeping tradition going. I respect that.

Punk just seems so much more content with life nowadays, which is great to see.
CM Punk should do some kind of a brief reality series where he goes into places and tries a bunch of sports, learns about cultures and nations etc. It would help people put his MMA stint in perspective; it was just a try-out out of many and then after he has established himself as some kind of a mature but cool man of the world he should make a return to wrestling.
