A poignant and beautiful contribution at a time when our hearts struggle with feelings we do not know what to do with. Thank you both so very much.

Your comment was so helpful...it's the middie of the night and I'm struggling to sleep....

I listened to this during a night of insomnia. "Doom scrolling" was something I was doing quite a bit. The need to find any form of connection and to try and feel part of something during a long time of feeling isolated yet it doesn't feel wholesome or connecting. Life through a screen is not enough.
Thank you so much for your wonderful contribution x

Thank you, Tami and Sharon for this beautiful conversation. Sharon's observation is especially poignant that the Statue of Liberty is mid-stride, as we all always are in our constant transition from one self to the next toward ever greater levels of liberty, in whatever way it means to us individually. Sending blessings to your transitions!

I love her honesty. "Some things just hurt" for everyone. So-called "gurus" who pretend otherwise are charlatans who harm their students.
