It is very strange, to see people upset about actors and celebs cashing in on their fame doing ads for companies that haven't the best reputation, but not giving a crap about what their elected officials do. Presidents, senators and congressmen like to sell guns to both sides and then blame it on one or the other side.
Actors went to acting classes and earn their paycheck by pretending to be someone else. It's their job to fake it in order to make it. At least the actors can say it was a role, but how can elected officials justify their actions to the people? I don't understand why people are so angry about Jennifer Aniston's advertisement. If you can't afford it, clearly you're not the target audience. With or without the advertisement. you would never shell out 25,000 dollars to fly business class in the first place. By the way, most people who fly business class don't actually pay full price for it, instead they upgrade themselves through frequent flier mileage. Furthermore, the 25,000 price tag is a flight from US to Dubai. How often do you travel to Dubai? It's way cheaper for you to travel to other countries such as Europe, South America, etc. So I think it's misleading to use the 25,000 price tag to rile up the viewers here. I think Aniston is funny in the commercial and why hate on her when she was only following the script. It's not her fault that she made you guys feel inadequate. To be honest, I would rather pay more to fly with Emirates then take my chances with United Airlines.

The Jennifer Aniston Emirates ad wasn't making fun of people who don't take first class, it was poking fun at all the shit airlines out there, mostly American based airlines. Emirates economy class itself is far better than a lot of other airlines out there, that's the main point of the ad. Emirates is a better choice, and out of experience I have to agree.

I actually really like the Jennifer Aniston ads. I'm poor af and I can only dream of riding in a plane like that someday but if I had the money then heeeellll yeahhhh I would ride in a fancy plane like that, but alas I am but a simple peasant.
