- With more animated movies coming out, more toxic morons trash Disney and Pixar because it's cool to do so. The war needs to stop and these guys need to be called out for their shit behavior. My Nama Jeff. 7.

Personally, I think the people who are saying Disney is done for are being overdramatic, it has such a grasp on the animation industry, that it would be nearly impossible for Disney to ever be fazed out, However, it was nice to see Disney not be on top for once because of it's morally wrong actions as a company
Disney and Pixar have never had consistent outright flops before. Not to mention that Disney itself has lost so much money that not only will they have to start selling off assets, but there's already talk of Apple eyeing them for purchase.

Great video. I think you phrased it better as to why the animation studio wars thing is pathetic. It seems to me that they only ever like a movie out of some form of "loyalty" to a brand than actually judging it as a film on its own.
Also, if we're being honest, while Disney is itself a very exploitive company and are more interested in profits, this criticism can pretty much apply to every other film studio (i.e. Warner Bros, Universal, Paramount). Especially during the ongoing strike.

Funny thing is that it kinda resurrected when the Mario movie came out and fans of the Sonic movie had a fight with fans of that movie.
Mainly that those on Sonic movie's side say that the films at least have a better plot and didn't rely too much on faservice, allowing it to stand out. While those on Mario movie's side use the defence that it used the soundtrack of the games and had a lot of fanservice easter eggs to appeal to fans (mainly to criticise Sonic films for their minimal game soundtrack and deviating from the games).

While I still find the sight of a slender Eggman odd (Carrey did want to wear a fatsuit, but I guess it would look too obvious that it's a skinny actor wearing a suit than an actual fat man) and the wedding scene feel unnecessarily long (even if it's just to introduce GUN), the movie at least has its own identity and how they approach the Sonic lore (helps that the human characters are bearable and have personalities).

@@croclordrusteze I don’t know I just jokingly said, imagine if they joined into the fight and it’s true when it comes to DreamWorks also, I’ve noticed something weird as you probably know people have the issue with the MCU that’s similar to what people have had with pictures lately however, as you know, the MCU is slowing down when it comes to the amount of content each year and it’s getting fixed. Meanwhile, Pixar doesn’t seem we have that.
Something similar is happening with indie animation. There was a drama about whether Helluva Boss or Lackadaisy were better than the other and personally, I like both. And also Murder Drones, Monkey Wrench, and Ollie and Scoops. Many of the people these projects are friends with eachother or at least have respect. I like all of them. I think Vivziepop does overshadow the others but that is due to the fact she was the first and the others are beginning to thrive.
I think the biggest issue is that social media just fosters reactionary content and tendencies in both creators and audiences.

They aren't "animation" fans, because their movies are literally from a specific company that they like and not based on the film's own quality.
You'll never see them even consider watching animated film by other studios like Laika and Cartoon Saloon (they do know Aardman however, but only for Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run and that's it).

People these days just want attention regardless of what the outcomes may be. Even had my own personal experience with someone like that. This reminds me of the console wars. Just something so incredibly pointless to even war over! Too busy barking so much for attention that I bet their bite is more pathetic than a toothless dog trying to bite something! Second there is anything to catch their attention, that train just goes off the rails and into the station to try causing drama.
Unfortanetly, that'll never stop. Forza, NFS, GTA, are hands down the most toxic people of all time. Like, The Crew Motorfest may be an actual game of the year when it releases, but no. But still tho, this is still really relevant as of today as Disney released a Moana 2 teaser, and yet these basement sewer goblins are already trashing on it, I mean sure, it doesn't have Lin-Manuel Miranda and the voice actors haven't signed up yet plus it isn't animated at Disney Animation and yeah I didn't really ask for a Moana 2, but that doesn't mean that will completely suck, the animation studio that will animate Moana 2 also worked on other great animated movies, and the teaser itself looks really good! It's just that the sewer gremlins will just bash on anything related to Disney if it's woke.

@croclordrusteze Also, the Gremlins saying that Wish is AI is really disgusting and disrespectful since the people who worked on this movie worked really hard, the movie started back in 2018, and the first leaked song This Wish is was made in September of 2022, ChatGPT was made in November of the same year, but when the movie came out, thousands of really stupid people started to think that it's AI or something, the only reason why this claim got widespread is because AI was popular at the time, just because the lyrics are generic, doesn't mean that it's AI, for the people who think that this movie is AI, just grow up you people. Touch grass or somethin'. People these days just don't understand how hard it is to make a movie. (Also PS, Turning Red was actually much better than I thought, it may have sparked controversy at times, but at least I really had some fun with it. I’m not sure if it’s better than The Bad Guys though.)

Something weird about me is I have a bias towards the movies it took inspiration from spider verse. In fact, I have not seen any of the movies I took inspiration from Spider-Verse, because 1 I have no interest in them initially into and 2 they just look mediocre from the trailers, so I just watch the spider verse movies because I know they’re going to be brain would rather see mov see a movie I know it’s going to be great rather than a movie I think just looks mediocre. In fact, I was extremely annoyed last year that before the last across the spider verse trailer, the trailer for some of these movies got more views than that initial trailer. I can guess the reason why the initial trailer didn’t do that because because of the no way home hype that overshadow the trailer and the phone being delayed a couple months later but still, I would rather go see the spider verse movies cause I know they’re going to be grade rather than move it I don’t know we’re going to be great whatever but doesn’t mean I want to still see them because I still may check them out just not in the theatre and then, when the last across the spider verse, trailer came out, and it destroyed all of the views, in comparison, towards the first movies trailer, including the movies, they took inspiration from spider versus trailers not being as big in comparison to this trailer, and even the second trailer a couple months later which did make me happy
