We'll discuss the different parts of the tractor, and give you an overview of where to start. If you're interested in starting a farm or homestead, the Farmall Cub is a great starting point!
Cool video! I love these tractors! As I establish my land I would love to add a Cub. It tells a story, the history of farming, and stands out as a survivor of how well equipment was made back then. Anyone can buy a new Ride on mower, but the feeling of riding a piece of history is something that will out a smile on your face! Thanks for the intro!!
For sure. When I run across them and they are bright red, and doing work. There is nothing better to see. Someday that is what this one will be.
Thank you so gnarly!!!
You will enjoy your cub I grew up on a road with seven houses on it everybody had big gardens. We used tillers and two wheel walk behind tractors and one cub. When it came time to dig potatoes I thought I was something riding the wings on the plow. I now own a cub with the belly mount disc turning plow we used it for the first time this spring. If was a fun.
That sounds like fun. I hope my kids enjoy it as much as I plan to :) They are still young and like everything I do so I am starting with an advantage, heh.
My Cub actually has a 12v Generator on it. Apparently they made 6v generators and 12v generators. Nice video!
Thanks! Oh wow I didn’t know that. Good to know! Nothing I ever read indicated it.
Just bought a ‘49. Can’t wait to get her rolling!
Hello,
Très bonne introduction sur le Cub. Je viens d'en acquerir un, avez vous avancé sur les votres?
In the last couple of weeks I have had to work on it to get it going. Hopefully over the next couple of months I can roll out the videos. Specifically on the carb and magneto to start. Those were my two big issues.
all the round nose cubs had the two holes in the hood for oiling generator except 1955 somebody really need to brush up on the cub
Thanks, I was looking at a bunch of pictures trying to understand. I'll have to look at more, darn. :D
