Thanks for the comparison with a considerably distance. I would use the mic for conference calls primarily, but I don't want to have it in the view. Seems the Rode nt mini could be acceptable for a distance of 60 to 80 cm (2 to 2.5 ft).

Some Bluetooth speakers also come with a built-in microphone.
