We're so stoked we finally made it to our 101st country, and what better place to go than the paradise islands of the Seychelles!! We started our vacation on Silhouette Island before heading to Mahé and the capital Victoria.

I normally love your videos but sorry to say I personally wasn't a fan of the new format. It really seemed to break up and distract from the travel content that I love from your channel, and made the video unwatchable for me. No hate to you guys at all, just wanted to share some feedback.
Uhuh.. I very much appreciate their effort to add better quality to their video. But I just love the in your face casualness and "rawness " of the old format. As if I'm really there travelling with them.
Change is hard, change is scary, but give the guy's a chance. If they're having more fun trying a new format, give them some love and support...

I like both the old vlog format and the reality show format, but I prefer you looking at the camera during the confessional shots! Feels more personal. Glad you’re back!

Please god no. I can understand why you think you need to do this but for those of us who appreciate your quality of content this is just crass.
Hi. Its always good to try new things. But I prefer the previous format. Post production script takes away the fresh and raw emotions while you are at the destination. It also pulls us away from the experience a bit. Or at least the testimonials could be good at a location not next to a wall. With Love. Omar
Aw you two look so refreshed and happy . I loved hearing you talk about each other, you were so cute, like a pair of giggly schoolboys. The love that you two have for each other is shines through. I’m such an old romantic and I sat watching this with a great big smile on my face from start to finish ( except for the hotel charges and them not wanting you to go on the hike… glad you went on your own anyway!) Hi guys - so pleased to see you back. We have missed you!
But not keen on the new format though. The fake interview style feels a bit like a down market ‘TV’ show style with the speaking and looking off camera. The previous informal commentating and fact sharing was far more authentic and relaxed.
That all all said delighted to have you back 😀 - but please go back to your old format which made us love you. 😀

Love you guys, and love when you talk directly to camera or vlog first person, but I really dislike reality TV formats. I find confessionals to be painfully contrived and exaggerated. I think CZcams works best for vicarious first-person vlogging. I don’t need a post match interview to interpret what happened for me. I’m sure there’s a half-way house where you could speak to each other during live events without needing the services of a confessional priest who nobody ever gets to see! 👍❤
Love you guys and I know how much effort goes into all videos (this one probably more than most) but have to say I prefer how you normally do things. Hope you enjoyed your time off :)

It’s great to see you back travelling again! Do I love the new format? No, but I do like it. I think as you develop your style and your confidence grows, it will get better and better. Per other comments, I too would prefer it if you look at the camera during your confessionals. Don’t be afraid to try new things!
Loved the new format!!!! Gives so much depth of details in feelings of what is happening that perhaps are not captured in the live moment!! Because is really difficult to record EVERYTHING that is happening 😌 very well WELL done for the high quality video in filming and editing too!!! 🫶

Hi Oskar and Dan! Your vlog was a delight to watch. This was a novel approach. I felt like I was watching a better version of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. I felt like I learned more about both of you and your unique personalities. I am glad that you’re feeling rejuvenated from your little vlogging break, and I hope to see more of this format, as it is growing on me.

Seychelles is still our favourite place on earth, it has been since we travelled there 4 5 years ago! Especially La Digue 😍 We plan on going back for our 10 years anniversary in 2 years. Great video guys

But, any chance it would be possible for you to speak directly to the camera when you're providing the commentary or BTS thoughts? It's really nice when you face the camera and speak because it feels more like you're talking to us directly 😊

I hope you enjoyed your month off, it was well deserved! We really have to work on Dan’s Boston accent though! 😂 I love what you are trying to do with this new format but I would try to be more like “The Real World” confessional and less like “The Office” talking to some stranger off camera. You guys are incredible storytellers, and you do a great job connecting with your audience through your camera lens. My wife & I create videos for several nonprofits & businesses (and weddings too! 😉) and we always interview through the lens using a teleprompter, not off camera, because when you have eye contact with your audience you build a much deeper human connection. ✌️

One suggestion you might think about is to have a more interesting background when it’s the two of you reflecting back. The blank wall is a little too visually uninteresting.
And I agree with Dan. Taking a boat is the way to see the turtles! Sorry Oskar!
