I really like "Monster Tanuki" for Chopper. Like yes, the world government did recognize his strength and importance to the crew of the pirate king, but them still mistaking his species is hilarious to me

I think Sanji's epithet becoming "Red Leg Sanji " actually fits really well and with how his story has been throughout wano, it would go well to show that even though he's a Vinsmoke he isn't like the rest of his family and is more like Zeff. thus taking Zeff's title as his own but instead of his legs being red with blood, they're red with his burning fire and passion.
Usopp’s epithet will absolutely remain God. It fits perfectly with his ability to speak things into existence, which is an ability heavily associated with the God of the Abrahamic religions.
Oh wow, I hadn't considered this. I was thinking he might keep the God title as his observation haki allows him to see across entire islands. It might come across as an "all seeing" ability, like an omnipresent God may have. Speaking things into existence is a much stronger point though. I wish I put that in my own comment

I think that Sanji inheriting the title of ((red leg)) would be so fitting, it would fit so well with the themes of fatherhood in his character. After all zeff is his true father.

i agree that calling all of the strawhats devils, demons and monsters is repetitive. But it would make sense considering its from the perspective of the marines, who would name them all devils(especially akainu). So people would hear of their bad sounding name only to find out they are kindhearded and nice, could be a cool story element.

I really love the "demonic/monster" thematic around them.
I would not be surprise if each member of the crew are associated with monsters or devils, I think it's kinda unique to them in comparison with other crews (or Roger's one) they're not rookies anymore, just pure chaos, they do whatever they want because they are the future pirate king crew.

I think that most people in the community agree with you here, I often read predictions for new epithets.
However I personally think all of the epithets should stay the same. The reason I like epithets is because they represent a character's history, something that goes back to the roots of said character; I was never a fan of the edgy names like "sword king demon" or something, they sound so cringe to me.
The only epithet that should change in the crew is Chopper's, as it was clearly just part of the gag of him having a low bounty lol
The only epithets that I really don't mind are "Cyborg/Iron Man Franky" "Soul King" "Strawhat" "Knight of the sea" and "Black Leg" the others like "Pirate hunter" and "Cat burglar" are just ridiculous sounding especially since Pirate Hunter Zoro is a fucking pirate lmao

Sanji's arc seems to involve him being forcibly confronted with his lineage despite him trying to run away from it and become his own man, he just can't sever that connection because other people keep forcing them together. And his synthesis to deal with this is to stop caring as he realizes that his friends and his ability to protect them is what matters, not the chirping of people who don't know anything about him. So it seems appropriate that his new title would reference his Germaness, like the 'Black Prince', 'Rogue Prince', or something like that
Yeah I completely agree. I've theorized that Robin will be seen as the "Angel" she really is given the wings Oda loves giving her and Nami will become a Kunoichi because thief character often upgrades into "Ninja" in rpgs, and she's been playing the role of Kunoichi in training throughout Wano.

For chopper, I rather like the idea of "Wild Blossom" being his epithet. It references the animalistic aspects of the character, as well as associated him with Sakura which, incidentally, are colored pink (the color Oda associates with him). It also sounds cool enough, but still can be played off as "girly" or "weak" sounding to continue a bit of the spirit of the gag. I expect most of the Strawhats to have bounties in excess of 200 Mil, so Chopper could be the only crew member with a bounty around 100 million, again, to maintain the spirit of the gag while still demonstrating that there is a baseline respect and formidability to the crew members.

I feel like hunter will still be in Zoros name and if he beats king, possibly even kill him, then I think it’s necessary. “Demon Hunter Zoro” to me is the best name change.
Devil leg sounds like a pun for deviled eggs. I kinda like that for Sanji, him being a cook and all.
I feel like Robin could change since the "Child" part seems outdated, and it didn't change through out the years because she was hidden before she met the strawhat (they even used her child photo for the wanted poster). I personally would like something that associated her with the ancient weapons or their destruction, since the thing they fear her is her ability to read poneglyph, and the reason why people can't read poneglyphs (at least their excuse) are the ancient weapons. So "4th ancient weapon", "World ender", or "Chaos bringer", seems a very accurate representation for the type of danger she represents for the WG.
For Sanji I don't like the association with the devil, mostly because of what you said about being repetitive. So the alternatives are "Burning leg" like you said, but also "White leg", since his flames could reach a point where they are so bright that they are not anymore red, but white like a star, or "Bright leg". The last is my personal favorite, because since the timeskip (and specially with ifrit jamble) his leg is more like a star than pure flames, so "Bright leg" can be fitting since it plays along the lines of "the last thing his enemies sees is a strong light before the death" (ofc he doesn't kill anyone, but the WG have to make them dangerous).
For Zoro I would love if he wasn't associated with swordsman with his main title, just like Mihawk. Mihawk may be the "World greatest swordsman" but his ephitet and primary title is "Hawk eyes". I feel like the association with a demon with Zoro is fitting but I could also see an association with either his scarred eye or green hair. I feel like his ephitet associated with swordsman will be recived when he becomes a legend, so after they defeat the WG and are not criminals anymore. Before that he could use an update but probably associated with his appearence. The "Green devil/demon" or "Moss devil/demon" or "Scarred devil/demon" are great titles, and just like luffy which will have both titles "Straw hat" and "Pirate king", Zoro will be the "Green demon" and the "Blade king" or "God of blades".
The Lost King should fit for zorro in my opinion

I think at some point in the future, Sanji's flame will turn black using armament haki but it didn't happen against Queen.
I still think it would happen tho, so I have my hopes that someday Sanji will be able to use conqueror's coating and that will turn his flames black. The flame that is burning on his legs will no longer be just a flame, it's his conquerors's haki burning out of his legs, like how CoC coating is flowing out of Luffy's hand when he used it.

I think Usopp's final epithet should go back to Sniper King, except this time he sincerely earns it. As much as I love God Usopp, there is a layer of Irony to it that I think Usopp needs to shake off for his pirate alias to round off his character. Either that or something akin to bravest warrior of the sea, but that might be a little too generic or broad.

I'm personally hoping for "King of Hell" or "Hell King" Zoro because not only does that have a parallel with "Dark King" Silvers Rayleigh, but also plays into his mastery of Enma (named after the literal King of Hell). Zoro even says he'll become the king of hell as he beats King, so I think it would be awesome if that name stuck.
Cat burglar Nami fits still, she stole Zeus and I think her future power ups will come from her stealing more from others.

A good name epithet for Chopper could be "Monster of Miracles" given his transformation and doctor ability
I would be super fine with a change, but I honestly love the ones they have now. When I hear "Pirate Hunter" Zoro or "Cat Burglar" Nami, I remember how far they have come, how many things they have accomplished, how epic this journey has been, and how they are still the same people even after growing up so much. I don't know, they have that sweet touch of nostalgia.

I agree that only the Strawhats you highlighted need name changes. Luffy and the 4 older members already have good names. Here's my thoughts -
(*Walls of text incoming, TL;DR at the end for just the epithets alone*)
Zoro: I initially thought he'd earn "Sword God" as well, but the more I thought about it the more I feel like it wouldn't make sense pre defeating Mihawk. I also think he should have his own unique epithet, but that's more personal preference. Your idea isn't far off of mine, but I was thinking something more like "The Asura Swordsman" or "The Blade of Asura" or "Asura's Blade". If you just Google Asura on its own, the first thing you'll see is this. "Asuras (Sanskrit: असुर) are a class of beings in Indian religions. They are described as power-seeking clans related to the more benevolent Devas (also known as Suras) in Hinduism. In its Buddhist context, the word is sometimes translated "titan", "demigod", or "antigod"." Power seeking (his goal to be the strongest swordsman), antigod (the strawhats will likely be the downfall of the celestial dragons), relations to Buddhism (most of his moves are references to Buddhism). These all relate to Zoro very well. Not to mention the obvious point about his strongest move literally being called Ashura which is basically the same thing as far as I understand. Someone in the marines will likely see him use the move in a spectacular fashion on Wano and be horrified at the fact that he's basically seeing an Asura and report it to. That's a way I could see it playing out. Although regardless of his new epithet I believe that the people of Wano may at least refer to him as Sword God depending on what sort of feats he accomplishes by the end of Wano. It'd have to be something everyone can see as it happens I would think.
Sanji: He's one of the harder ones for me,, I honestly I didn't really have any ideas for Sanji until you said the thing about "devil leg" in this video. I was thinking something you could use something like Hellfire instead. It's thematically similar to Asura and Devil child but doesn't feel as redundant. I'd be more ok with that personally. Maybe something like "Hellfire Leg" or "The Hellfire of Germa" would work well. You could also do something like "Blazing Leg" or "Germa's Blaze" too. He's one of the harder ones tbh, but I'd like it if Germa was a part of his epithet even though Sanji himself wouldn't like it. I see it as more about how the world might see them. As they grow more notorious the government is going to paint them in a scarier light, and a scary flaming demon man from a kingdom known for cruelty and conquest would be a good light to paint him in if they want people to think they're bad guys.
Nami: Yeah I think pretty much everyone has agreed on "Weather Witch" for a while now. It's just too perfect. Not much needs to be said here.
Chopper: I've always thought "Monster" Chopper would be perfect for him. You could do "Monster (blank)" like Monster Doctor or Monster Tanuki but idk I think less is more in this instance. "Monster" on it's own just feels better to me personally.
Usopp: Honestly I'm having a hard time with him but I have some thoughts. As much as I love "God" for the memes, I always thought "Sniper King" was a perfect epithet but I don't think Oda would go backwards here. I always thought a good endgame epithet for him would be "Usopp the Brave" but I'm not sure the world government would give such a positive and heroic sounding name to a pirate. Maybe "Usopp the Fearless" or something like that would more likely? It's not much better but that's all I've got here. I think earning an epithet like that could be a more tangible way of reaching his dream. Although if he does get that at some point I don't think it'd be post Wano as it'd feel way too early to have him achieve his dream, especially if he hasn't even seen Elbaf or met his dad yet. Perhaps "Usopp the Brave" could be what he's known as to the people of Elbaf specifically. If we assume your theory about them meeting the red hair pirates as well as Mihawk there is true (which I'm definitely assuming is true tbh) then it would makes sense for his dream of being a brave warrior to come true here considering Zoro's would as well. Not to mention it's such an important island in relation to his ideals. In terms of an epithet the marines would officially give him, I'm thinking something like "Sniper God" Usopp. We get to keep the meme of him being referred to as a God while also having it feel like an evolution of Sniper King. His observation haki allowing him to shoot people across an entire island could be viewed as an "all seeing" ability which would be associated with how God is all knowing and all seeing. "Sniper God" makes the most sense to me here.
Franky: I agree, he definitely doesn't need it. Cyborg Franky is perfectly fine and I'm not exactly expecting a new epithet here. However, I do think it'd be really cool if he had something like "The Living Weapon" as epithet. It would be very thematically fitting to his backstory and how it was about the question of whether or not weapons like the battleships he built are inherently evil. For Franky himself to be referred to as a weapon would make him a personification of the idea that it's about the person using the weapon and not the weapon itself that's most important. I think this idea will come up again if the theory about him eventually building pluton is true as he has the blueprints memorized. The idea actually relates the ancient weapons in general I would say. If Franky has an epithet that makes him appear to be the personification of this idea, then him building an ancient weapon to be used for good would basically broadcast that idea to the entire world.

“Cat Burglar” has a double meaning. It means petty thief but it also can mean “someone who steals your man” so it actually fits well seeing as Nami just stole Zeus from Big Mom.
I think that second definition might be a regional thing, I've never heard of the term cat burglar used in that sense

I’ve been a huge fan of Zoro getting a “god” epithet for a while now. It would play nicely into how the people of Wano will likely perceive him defeating King as Zoro killing a Tengu, who are gods and powerful swordsmen in the mythology/religious lore they originate from

Sanji "Stealth Black" - His raid suit, sneaky, turn invisible, his fast movements and kicks.
Usopp "God of War" - In certain points of the story, he lead batallions like tonatata, ex-toys army, gifters, giants in W7, etc.
Nami "Sorceress" - Given her personality, witchcrafts-like weather manipulation.
Chopper will have like two bounties thinking of him two seperate identities, one for "Cotton-candy lover" and ther other for "Oni monster".

Zoro having a “god” epithet and Sanji having a “demon” epithet would be insanely fitting for their character dynamic
They are both Demon themed, but Zoro is an Eastern Demon and Sanji a Western Demon, just look at "Asura" and "Diable Jambe".

Monstrous Doctor would be my favourite new epithet for chopper. Yes, he is a monster and wants to be viewed as such, but he still is a doctor first and foremost.
Regarding Zoro, Imho "Sword King" is the most fitting, as it would further underline his simularities to "dark king" rayleigh as the second in command of the pirate king.
Last but not least there is sanji. His new epithet might be "Stealth Black", though i seriously hope oda doesn't go that route after sanji tries everything to not be a part of his family. Personally i like "Flaming leg" or "Demon Leg" more and hope that one of those will be his new title.

I would like to see Sanji with the “white leg sanji” title. His leg is always depicted as white when he uses the flames,it’s simple but a cool inversion
It would also be fitting with his efforts to disassociate him with the germa,since there he would be “stealth black”, and on the iconic scene that he is standing on top of the germa table,saving them,he had the full on white suit. It shows that he’s the opposite of them,they don’t truly know who he is

I think the whole point of “Cat Burgular” still being part of Nami’s epithet later on in the story is for them to emphasize that even though she’s no longer devoted to just stealing money, she still values Beli more than most things.
Like how when Luffy gave the money over in exchange for the candy that belonged to BIG MOM one of the Yonko, Nami still punched all of them because she was pissed they lost the money😂it’s part of her at this point

I like the idea of Zoro having something Wano related to his new epithet. Like Oni Ronin Zoro or Something that emphasizes his status among the samurai. Specifically because Kaido said there will never be a samurai of the caliber of Oden.

Kaido's fruit is Uo Uo no mi Model Sei Ryuu. Not Model Koi. That means it's a different kind of dragon than the one from the koi myth. Sei Ryu is one of the legendary dragons of Japan and has nothing to do with kois (just happens that, in Japan, dragons fall under the family of fishes. So Kaido has never been a koi and that aspect of him growing or climbing to the top is not a main theme on him.

Pirate Hunter Zoro is so cool. Yeah he isn’t a bounty hunter, but he takes down every pirate he faces. It still fits, and I think it’s badass

I will love if the world views this crew as a demonic crew, since they are going to be the crew that becomes a pirate king crew someday, and pirates are considered evil just like demons or devils, so I will like if all the crew members are dubbed as monsters.
