One of the top Iron Maiden songs ever! 🤘🤘🔥🔥 This was the 'Ed Hunter' version of Eddie on stage... the PC game they released in 1999 w/ Eddie the main character.
New album is a masterpiece through and through. Ranks No.3 in my top 17 albums, took me a few listens, now I cant stop. I ranked 6 out of the 10 songs on the album 9/10 or above. Incidentally I am wearing the senjutsu t-shirt whilst I write this. Also my favourite t-shirt. God bless the hurm.
This song has always been one of my favourites from 7th Son. Great live performance and I think they also picked up the pace from the studio version…they absolutely knocked it out of the park! They should play it more often at their concerts.
I seen it in Winnipeg it was unbelievable. My eyebrows got singed i wad so close for the explosion on moonchild. Couldn't hear for about 2 hours after the show
Love this song. The new album is masterful as hell, one of my favorite albums. You have to react to Iron Maiden Cartoons: czcams.com/users/maidencartoons
Definitely, probably the best since Brave New World. Has a good mix of long and short songs. It’s generally prog metal but they’re not all (or even mostly) 10 minutes like Matter of Life or Death, even though that’s not a bad album either. 😉
You don't have to make it to the last album before the Detroit show. Most of the songs from the setlist are old and only 3 are from the new album. You can only make an exception for The writing on the wall, since there is a lot crowd involvement in this one...
Since you said seventh son was your favorite Album you gotta react to to the seven son live album maiden England! The concert video is on CZcams it’s so so good one of my favorite live performances
Best walk on Eddie Powerslave there’s on live CZcams video at long beach arena 85 that’s the best walk on Eddie by far but the Final Frontier one is up there with the Senjutsu one
Coincidentally 7th son of a 7th son is 7th on my list. Don't get your hopes up on newest Maiden album, unless you like prog metal. Think you may like it Hurm. I like one song in particular on the new album, it reminds me of the golden years of Maiden
Maybe u should do 2 Rock In Rio reactions per day to finish it out to help you get to the mighty Senjutsu quicker. Or maybe can skip directly to Senjutsu after RIR so you can hear songs live in Detroit ha ha. Like many said tho, some Senjutsu take multiple listens (I listen to it all over 20 time) but the whole album is ear candy once u familiar with it. Front to back!
Senjutsu is the best Maiden album of the 6 they have done since 2000 but I think you will like the Dance Of Death Book Of Souls The Final Frontier has some great songs and A Matter Of Life And Death is a cracking album Maiden on that tour played the Album in full from start to finish and they are cool videos to Wildness Dreams the Rainmaker different world The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg The Final Frontier Speed Of Light The Writing on the Wall and Stratego
I think when you reach the last three albums you’ll have to temper your expectations slightly. Musically they’re still great although production could be considered an issue and Bruce’s voice starts to sound a little strained, which wouldnt be an issue if he if he just backed off a touch and focused on his mid range more IMO. BUT all that said kudos to him and the band, they are still rocking so so many gigs around the world and put on fantastic show spectacles and writing great songs and lyrics. And everybody has a Peak. This right now was there’s.
You should check Ayreon - Into the black hole. It's a song performed by Bruce Dickinson and it was recorded during his solo career. If I'm not mistaken, It was during the Chemical Wedding time, 98/99. Here is a link for the official video with lyrics. czcams.com/video/V-Rdj6Me2dE/video.html
One of the few that I was not impressed by live vocally. Watching them preform live was fun, though. Bruce is right about the Evil that Men Do, but remember, for the devil knows his time is short.
It was too fast. And won’t allow Bruce to hold the note in the second verse or chorus. Plus, he says “evil” weirdly here. But I think it’s still really good especially in comparison to their last two tours. Bruce is really struggling now. Even Bruce can’t outrun time.
@@troywilkinson160 think you’re spot on there, and yeah it’s a shame but only natural he’s going to struggle as he gets older. I think he’s still got a good voice for his age, but they should massively re- jig the live sets to take out songs he can’t do justice too anymore ie. Aces high, number of the beast….. I don’t want to sound like I’m bashing him, the guy is my idol. I’d just like it if they adjusted things more to help get the best out of him in his later years.
Imo this era of maiden is the best of their career. The maturity, experience, energy are all maxed out .

Wow! Really? I would put it bottom 5. But to each his own. Maiden is fantastic
One of my favourites from Seventh Son, Ohh we do love the walk on Eddies Come ooooooon!!!!

So good! It's so cool that Adrian and Janick are playing the solo together. Same as they do in The Trooper.
Great song!! That solo is total ear candy!
Looking forward to your reactions to Dance of Death! So much more Maiden ahead for you, Hurm.
My father took me to see Maiden in 2012 and it was the Seventh Son tour, it was the best show I ever been to. They know how to put on a performance
I seen it in Winnipeg it was unbelievable. My eyebrows got singed i wad so close for the explosion on moonchild. Couldn't hear for about 2 hours after the show

I haven't heard this performance of The Evil That Men Do in a few years. It's so much better than I remember!

in the Dance of Death album, there is still one song off the Virtual XI session, it is called No More Lies

Such a shame that they played everything so fast live, in my opinion, but still great.
One of the few that I was not impressed by live vocally. Watching them preform live was fun, though. Bruce is right about the Evil that Men Do, but remember, for the devil knows his time is short.
Yeah I know what you mean. It wasn’t bad but just lacked ….. something…. I can’t sing the song with out the yea yeahs midway through now tho lol!

Agree on all your points. Up the Irons.
