- I continue to clean up this overgrown backyard for a man that can't maintain it himself.
If you are interested in any of the equipment I'm using, check out my new page Turf and Tools / @turfandtools where I review equipment that I am sent and use. If you'd like to send something for me to show, send me an e-mail timthelawnmowerman@gmail.com
Hi! My name is Tim The Lawnmower Man and I love to clean up overgrown yards and make fun videos doing it. I'm able to do them for free as these videos have ads on them and the revenue from that enables me to cover my cost.
I'm always looking for the worst yards around. Sometimes I drive around looking for them, sometimes viewers send me suggestions.

A lot of us really enjoy multiple videos on the same massive clean up properties. Every video is new so please stop apologizing. Stay true to who you are because your work is always amazing. God bless
Thanks for the support!
Agreed 👌😃
@@timthelawnmowermanI came to say the same thing. I'm absolutely loving this series, and I think you're nailing the pace of the clean up. I will happily watch as many videos on this place as you make. It's a gem. Thanks for the awesome Friday arvo entertainment 👍
🎉
I love that you don't just Mow, Blow and go, like so many on youTube. You do the job properly !!!!
Now i'm so excited for dumpster day! It is going to take it to the next level. That yard is going to shine! You do such a thorough job! Thank you for your videos!
I am looking forward to the next part. People who have not done this work often don't appreciate how much time the edging and shoveling actually take. And how much of a part it is to give a house that finishing look. Thank you for helping him get rid of his junk. I know from personal experience that it is very frustrating if you don't have a truck to haul stuff off to the skip. People promise to come and help and don't show and then it builds..... My last vehicle was a small pickup and it was a godsend. I hope this finds you and your little family happy and healthy. See you next week 😁
Surely somebody nearby can donate a used or new barbie for that poor bugger. The one he wants to save is beyond saving. The guy is obviously struggling. Have a heart.
We need a BBQ sponsor! And snaggs with Don at the finish.
Hey Tim, has anyone donated a BBQ yet?
Nice of you being willing to get rid of the neighbor’s green waste. Detail work is always the most time consuming. I enjoy multi-part videos, so no worries.
Tim I’m always telling my husband he needs to watch your videos. Yesterday he was having trouble getting the blades off the mower and guess what? He went on your Turf and Tools channel and looked up how to get them off. So I said to him I hope you’re following Tim now because I told you he knows what he’s talking about. You’re welcome. 😂😂 Remember when you come back next time, bring a lunch box because this yard is a doozy in size. You’re an amazing and kind man Tim. ❤🦘🇦🇺
Glad to be of some help!
Loving this weekly revealing of a garden
Each week we see so much improvement
Can’t wait till you do behind that shed
Only negative is having to wait a week 😂
Well done Tim 👏
GOOD FOR YOU….. Getting the bin arranged to rid the place of all refuse !!! Some rocks and bricks have been lying around since places were built and owners have no means of getting rid of them….. so they are eyesores and hazards for mowing!
You are a solutions guy for sure and do incredible attention to detail on every project! 🏆🏆🏆
Another classic example of why you are the best, hands down, at what you do. Thanks, Tim.
I’m so glad I have not missed a single video and part three is just as good as all of them great job Tim !! ❤😊❤
Just that front part of the driveway was a heap of work! This place will have you producing videos for months! Well done Tim.
It just keeps getting better and better. I love a good series. Thank you for all the hard work. And I agree, the tough part is cleaning up all theyard waste and other stuff, but that is what makes it a quality job. Hang in there. 😊
Tim, Tim, he's our man. Makes yards tidy and makes a school run. Meantime, generous companies co-ordinated with Tim to ferry a much-need skiff for rubish/debris removal. Saves the Barby, although it looks a might tired, too.❤🎉😊
Just finished pruning my trees & shrubs here in central Texas with 82 degrees F and 96% humidity…pass the ice tea please 🥵. Now I’m kicked back in the A/C watching the best edging on CZcams!! Tim this series just keeps getting better and better!
👏👏👏💯💯👏👏👏
Thanks Karen! You deserve to relax 🙌
Thx Tim! I should probably be put in the looney bin…I’m 73 yrs old & should know better 🤣🤦♀️😂
I laughed when, starting at 28:13, you missed a section when you were editing, where you were talking, and left the setting to speed up the video. I'm glad that I'm not the only one to have done that. 😄
Mowing and trimming are important, but the cleanup is what finishes it off. Getting the trash out of the way and cleaning up all of those piles in the yard, well that is what finishes it off!! Looking forward to the next one! 🤩
The hardest work is in the details. This is shaping up to be a very nice property, Tim. It will be so good to have all the garbage gone. Great work, love your videos.
My Goodness!!! Look at the junk in the neighboring yard!!!!😱😱😱
I enjoyed the bridge discovery! Nothing like landscape archaeology! Free Mow Fridays are fantastic!
It's been great to see you unveil this property with each episode. I like how you have parsed out the work, and boy, will it make a difference to chuck out the trash and tackle that jungle corner in the back yard! You've really gone the extra distance for this one.
And I have a laugh every time you claim your 7-ft height...😂 Thanks for all the great content between this channel, Turf & Tools, and the podcast. 👍❤
You found a diagonal and I would give you 10 out 10 for finding it and trimming it up so nicely! You are a good man, Tim. Thanks for sharing your good work with us. The world needs more people like you. I try but mostly suck at it. You're the best!
With heartfelt appreciation and a burst of emojis, here’s to you, Tim! 🎉 Your transformation is truly awe-inspiring! 😍 It’s wonderful how you’ve stepped in to assist a homeowner in dire need of property cleanup. 🏡👍 The work you’ve done has brought about a significant improvement to the property. Well done! 👏🌟
Thoroughly enjoying your fine tuning on this yard as it makes it look ever so much nicer! Thank you for your efforts!
That elder gentleman is very thankful that's its you,and not someone young and cocky, and do a botch job of it. The house is looking better, each time you do more work on it,but a job like that takes time. 👋💕from Perth WA.
I’m very much looking forward to the next part! I’m sure the man that lives in the house feels the same way. 🙋🇨🇦🙋
This whole property has been a challenge that you met head on and did a phenomenal job, Tim! I love all your videos because you always go above and beyond and pay special attention to details no matter how small they may be. You are definitely a fine young man, thoughtful and caring. You always treat each property as if it were your own. That's very commendable! God Bless you and your family!
Making progress and like I said before what separates you is your attention to detail, and you show a true concern, or caring manner to help others
Thank you for the early on message for the time to click right to the work. I’m not as interested in the talk or explanation, but appreciate watching your work. You are certainly the leader when it comes to detail!
I ❤ multi part cleanups. Don’t apologize for taking the time to do it right
So excited you were able to get a bin! What a job! Amazing work, Tim. 💚
You have made great progress on this yard. It looks so much better than the first video. You are awesome to help this man but he needed help. Thank you for helping. God Bless you.❤❤❤❤❤
This is great to see. Sometimes it takes a few videos but the end result is always great and the person you helped probably feels so much relief.
Perhaps one of your supplies would give you some longer handle shovels. They may save your back. I really enjoy watching your videos .
They make shovels for taller folks. Maybe Google it and save your back. Excellent work. Don't know how you work another job and then do this.
Imagine if you found a grave in the weeds one day and uncovered a murder mystery… my 2 obsessions blending into 1 amazing video series!
Oh I LOVE multi episode clean ups!! I think these are very well done and i look forward to the next one. Well done! Blessings from the PNW. 💛🖤💛 Stacy
Awesome series Tim .. I so look forward to each episode to see the progress. Thank you also to the company providing the skip/ dumpster to get rid of the junk and make his property the crowned jewel of that area. Keep up the great work! A fan from NE Pennsylvania.
Have you ever done one of these free jobs and gone back months or even a year later only to find the yard is as bad as it was before? I couldn't imagine what that must feel like. It's like you're giving these yards/people a second chance and you can only hope and pray that they take that opportunity to start caring for their property.
I have. All I can do is give people the opportunity to be able to maintain it. From there it’s up to them
Wow the progress on this yard is outstanding. When you first showed the property, I felt claustrophobic. I'm glad to see that you've been able to get this far this fast. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
Aside from watching your excellent work, yours is the cutest Aussie personality on FB😅. And I know you can't help yourself😂😂
Thanks for the support
Amazing clean up, can't wait to see the finished product. This was hands down your worst clean up.
EXCELLENT JOB. Thank you Claratyne and Aussie Industries, Skips ... 😊 love a good edge.. its going to look awesome with rubbish gone😊
Did you actually say "wooops"???? I love it!
It's looking so good. While I could watch you uncover concrete for hours on end, I can understand you needing to do something different after a while. I can't wait to see what getting rid of the trash does for the place!
Another great part of this massive clean up done. Very glad to see the job being done the right way and not just grass cut I'm outta here. Tim you are a legend mate and it's heartwarming to know people like you are out there. Also great to hear other companies willing to help you out. Have a fantastic weekend.
Drove past the other day with my nephew and now he's invested !
Great clean up! When you sped up the video while talking, I started laughing and thought “I don’t speak squirrel!” Lmao 🤣
Always great to see a hidden driveway and now so neat and tidy.
I could not be more invested in this yard
Great job Tim, especially the driveway !!!! Looking forward to the next video !!!
Thanks for the support
Wish I understood speed talk 😂..yard is looking 1000% better but please Tim don't forget the dead palm fronds!
Excellent as always Tim 👍 love your work and love your channel. Best wishes to you and yours, from Britain 👍👍🇦🇺🇬🇧🇦🇺🇬🇧
If I heard correctly, many thanks to Aussie Industries for volunteering the skip to haul off waste. At 8:13, there is an interesting form of Grime Line. The foreground has the now detailed driveway and beyond it, is the driveway as it appears in "progress" condition but not yet detailed. Thank you for mentioning why holding an edger upright on occasion can be helpful. Like the work you have achieved in getting things sorted. Hoping, that you will put the available fence boards back into place. Part of looking "whole". Looking forward to Part 4.
That is some mess you are working with. You never give up❤❤❤❤
Yay Aussie Industries!!!
😂😂😂 tim the lawnmower Genie
Starting to look really great Tim….getting that grass to take off will make such a huge impact! Enjoyed watching and looking forward to the next episode. 😂😂😂 “I’m 7 foot tall 😅😅😅. ❤
This is getting to be quite the massive job. I have no doubt that it's going to be unbelievable when you are done!
Been looking forward to finishing off this series just got back from planning some trees myself can't believe I'm watching this considering sometimes I do it for a living LOL but it's so satisfying to watch you attack these bad yards. Just finished in the tail end of the video where you set it up I used to play back and slow it down LOL. You've done such a fantastic job on that property I love this series you have going.
Thanks for the support
Looking great. Maybe??? Fencer could replace/ refit metal front fences?? And maybe reattach some of the palings too???
They might be willing to provide fixings and labour free???
Fantastic thanks to ausy bins for providing a bin great job from everyone ❤😂🎉
I am looking forward to seeing all that rubbish removed from all over the property. Every bit must go so that the man that lives there can think straight and walk around his property again.
The bush you cut down was insane.
You have made a huge difference. Well done.
All the wooden fence planks need to be screwed or nailed back on which will help to make the place much neater. And you dont have to move the loose planks when you need to mow.
It is a very busy road and it would be abit safer to close the gaps up.
I think that would be the owner or renters responsibility.
At the moment the ground is dead, it needs good soil.
If the man who lives in the house can't manage, it would be better just to have grass and no beds. They are just work and a place for weeds.
I would take out those makeshift beds with tall weeds at the back.
I have serious back problems and am letting our grass grow instead of having beds. The few beds we have I can't manage. Wall to wall grass is easier.
One can put plants in a pot to add sone visual interest although I dont think this gentleman is a gardner by the looks of things.
Keep it simple.
Great work. I literally can't stand watching edging but I do appreciate the hard work and what it looks like once it is done. 😅
Tim this has been an amazing sequence. I really have enjoyed seeing the step by step transformation. Woo Hoo! Incredible!!! Thank you for your thoroughness! I mean it. So tired of the half hearted videos that leave it looking incomplete. ~🤗Becka
Great job as always Tim, however it always makes me laugh when you and Sean uncover driveways. The reason they need uncovering is because they are not in use. I also enjoy your size 10 pieces of equipment on the end of your legs. 😂😂
LOOKING GOOD! ☺️ Boy, you have a lot of work picking up all that stuff! Do you have anyone to help? God Bless You Tim. 💚
This is a good one! Hard work but Tim is up for the challenge 👏🏼❤️🇨🇦
The edging makes it looks crisp, hard work shoveling the dirt loose and off the driveway. Nice one 👌
Tim im enjoying this series your doing, i cant wait to see the final outcome. I hope the people will be able to keep uo on their lawn once your done, you are putting in alit of hard work and its looking so good, looking forward to part 4 😊.
Looking good Tim. But darn it I was hoping to see you tear into that last vestige of the wild ( kennel or whatever that space is ). Looks like a job for "Super Phil" for about one minute on video. Getting the refuse gone is going to be a great day as well.
All I can say is AMAZING ! Can't wait until Part 4 Tim.
Your Texas, USA Fan
Edges look better when u get down in the dirt. These gardeners here in Lancaster California can edge a straight line for nothing. And they charge way too much. Your transformations are amazing.
Enjoying your ‘part’ series. You have already made such a difference. Look forward to each week. The rubbish removal will make a huge transformation. I was so surprised a neighbor dumped their trimmings on your job! That was sure rude on their part.
I’d never heard of a ‘bridge’ in a driveway, I’m thinking perhaps it is to help with drainage. I find many Australian ideas interesting, such as your drainage methods. A drain under an outdoor faucet and the gutters draining underground. I like those ideas.
Love your work!
Can't wait for the next installment to see the clean up 😊 good job Tim
Your working Your but off brilliant job well done ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you
People are really lucky, I've mower 3 to 4 people's lawns for 3 years on our street. This year I've had problems with my health and it seems everyone has forgotten my name. It's all good, though we hire it done, but won't be forgotten
I’m sorry to hear that mate. Hope you feel better soon.
Funny how help is a one-way street sometimes! I'm sure you weren't doing it for anything in return in the first place, but sometimes that's what makes the silence cut the deepest in your time of need. Wishing you a speedy recovery mate!
That’s really nice of the neighbours to give you some extra green waste 🙄
Looks great, I hate having to wait a week. Bring your drill and some screws next time, George and Sean would put those few boards back in.
My back hurt just watching you scrape up the edgework with that short shovel!
You’re getting there 100% better than when you first started
We had 2 strips until dad put in full driveway, more snow to shovel in winter
I don’t know when you have time to eat sleep family time..I mean I know you do but even with the new property and being a fireman and 3 channels you’re just one busy busy man. But I love all your videos. Thank you 🇺🇸❤️
Nice work Tim. You are making a huge improvement on this property. Looking forward to your next video. The skip will be a great help. ❤ from Queensland
The tenant there would be a perfect use case for a robot mower to keep the yard under control. That way he'd only need to arrange for the edging to be done, plus the nature strip. It could do both the front and back yards.
I admire that you even took this job on. It’s so huge! And your work is impeccable!
PG Tips Great job can’t believe the progress it’s looking so much better I’m pleased you managed to get skip for rubbish !!!! Well done as always your the tops . 👍👍👏👏👏👏👏🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I believe in your country one would say "Bonza job, mate."
Looking forward to the next episode 😀
We're hanging in there with you, Tim, never fear.
I love what you do. You and Spencer from SB Mowing.
Spencer has a spiffy shovel with an extra handle that allows a more upright posture. You’ve got to think of your back.
This one has been amazing so far. Still a lot to go, this has been a huge one. I can't wait until you get into the scary part 😅. I really love seeing the transformations you do Tim!
Until next week!
Your videos are just so very good and the trim work is always on point. Love the projects you take on and the order you decide in how to get it cleared and back in order. 😊
Fantastisch Good work Tim you te best te famey te House te natuur best fried Top week te weekend men 🚚🪤🚜🛶🌿🌾👍😎🧤🧋🌳🧢🎧
I want my husband to learn how to edge like you do, looks so neat and crisp
Fantastic Tim 😇👍 it's all coming along nicely, lovely technique to save next door getting the cutting, great strategy on how to plan ahead 😉 I was lol when the audio was on fast ⏩😂 Have a wonderful day Tim stay safe ❤
I didn't realize someone lived there. The cyclone fence gave me the feeling that it was being sold and that it was the way to keep out people. The place is looking better and better. You are doing a wonderfully good deed to help this man get his place back in shape. I can't wait to see the final video. Maybe you and he can put a few prawns on the barbie after it's all said and done?
Brilliant job, Terrific Tim.
I have found that it's easier to edge strong grass if you pour some water over it and wait for it to get to the roots. Easier to get through roots when they're watered than when they've semi dry.
Looking good now. I can never get over how some people can let a yard get to that state in the first place. If there is one part of lawn care I always hated doing it was doing the edges of the paths. When I was a kid my Dad used to make me do all the edges and that was with a hand and foot operated metal wheel on the end of a steel handle. Man it was hard work manually pushing that thing along back then. Thank goodness for the invention of the whipper Snipper.
You put into the major makeovers . And I like how you do it in parts . Tim it’s looking awesome 😎 .
Nice job Tim - it’s really starting to look great! Looking forward to seeing the bin there & all the trash gone. BTW, I did like the bridge part.
You have been doing an incredible job! I'm sure these people are super grateful for what you have done and still are finishing up. 💜
