Jimin's very sweet and caring, he is so so kind, but as he is also extremely observant and very good at reading people, catch him on a bad mood and he's gonna go straight for your throat, as he knows exactly what to say to make it hurt. He also has a zero bs tolerance, Jimin doesn't take sh!t from anyone, BTS have said he's one of the scariest when angry, and Tae and JK said Jimin used to have a nasty temper. Also, he said in last year's FESTA that he actually cuts off people from his life if they talk sh!t about the rest of BTS. Jimin is ruthless, and wicked smart, and I love that. I'm sure it doesn't help when he's the target of lot of their teasing/take him for granted, just cuz he's the shortest & cute?!..He'd said he didn't have a temper till he joined BTS (cuz boiiiz van b3 savage & he's always been a little shy)...When Tae said he didn't like/was sensitive to be called 4d, they stopped doing it..Tho Jimin's not crazy about being called short (avg in Korea) & being ranked last "jokingly said JK" & tho Tae even said he's sensitive about that & laughed, they didn't stop making fun of him, even tho they knew there were many "he's ugly"(??) comments back then, but they didn't stop ranking him low, comparing his pinky, measuting his arms..They still don't stop..He always calls Tae handsome, but Tae rarely says it back..Tae kept calling JHope ugly without make-up, you.could ses JH was hurt but always laughed it not as sensutive at JM, tho he also got "he's ugly"(??) commentsoff & still calls Tea handsome, but he never says it back..Again, the boiiiz can be savage..BUT then u we Jimin's athletic & 4 diffl types of Martial arts abilities & he coukd "kill" them, lol "Experiences-Martial arts", "Underestimated Athleticism Of Jimin Badass Moments", "Talents-2020"..JK's Golden Maknae but he can also do utcallm but only talksxabout it if members mention it, or onf vlive questions😊

This video can make it seem like Jimin is impatient or easily angered, but what's actually funny is he's normally the sweetest and most affectionate and thoughtful person, especially to the other members. He's also the member who always says I love you to the others even when they're embarrassed to say it back. This vid just shows how close/comfortable they are w/ one another to the point that he can show his petty inner self w/o worrying how the others would react.

Many idols only show themselves being funny and bright and nice because they think fans won't want to see them having "negative" emotions. But for bangtan, showing all their sides means we get to see them as humans, as real ppl who have pains and struggles and shortcomings too, and we can relate to their stories and music more bcoz we can see we're similar to them and they to us💜

Ordering a coke might not necessarily have been meant to be sassy at all. On my first time visiting the U.S., when I ordered a cola, I also asked for a coke, mistaking it for the general term and was irritated that I was told, that they only had Pepsi, "Okay, what's the problem, that's still what I ordered?". I don't know why me and my fellow germans often mistake it for the general term? Maybe because we never use the word "Coke" when speaking german, it's always the full "Coca Cola" and the way we say that name, doesn't sound english at all. "Coke" does and due to product placement, we've heard it a lot in movies or TV shows. Maybe it's similar for Koreans?
To me Jimin's reaction was relateable because of that, like he was surprised that "Pepsi" was advertized as the most famous drink and then he amusedly agreed like yeah okay, if that's the case then bring me that coke, meaning that cola. It could have been me...
a lot of places use the term "coke" to just mean soda in general. he thought they were the same thing.

@@busybee1066 some people have a preference between coke and pepsi and will not drink the other one. hence why servers will reiterate that it is either coke or pepsi to make sure the person is okay with it. i know lots of people that will drink coke but hate pepsi and vice versa. same with mountain dew/mello yello, dr. pepper/cheerwine, etc.

Jimin can be petty, but honestly all of them have that side, Jimin is just a bit more savage about it than others. Also, really wish they included the video of the live Jimin did some time back when they released a coloring book that was just pictures the members had drawn. Jimin went live to chat with ARMYs and show off the coloring book.... which was pretty much him trying to look for the best one, and trash talking the pictures some of the other members drew. Then he praised his own and colored his own. It was just a hilarious live, and he was being petty. We love a petty/sassy Jimin. 💜💜

Jimin is the sassiest of them, Jimin and Hobi ascend being savage and are the scariest of the members when mad/angry. Even the other guys have mentioned this many times before. When I said Jimin is a bit more savage about it than the others- I meant when it comes to his sassiness he's a lot more blunt about it. You can tell easily when Jimin is in Sassy/petty mode. Hopefully that makes more sense. lol.

Like most people, Jimin is multifaceted. He is a caring, loving, sweet and thoughtful person. Jhope and Taehyung call him an angel. But he can also be competitive, over sensitive, critical, whiney and easily frustrated. He's human. An adorable human, mind you, but human nonetheless.

While "very sensitive" means someone who is sensitive to others and deeply feel their emotions, "over sensitive" means a person who does not handle criticism or friendly banter well. The original poster was correct. Jimin is loving and caring, which are clearly listed as his good traits, where as "over sensitive" is listed as a bad trait. People have both good and bad traits, including Jimin. Also Jimin can be over sensitive that causes him to be savage from time to time, which is the theme of the reviewed video. The OP stated Jimin is "multifaceted" like all people, so I fail to see exactly how they infantalised him. The way you exploded in the comments section, you may want to consider that you're projecting your own feelings on the subject and reflect accordingly.
Lilly makes a great point, humans are multifaceted and fans have watched all of these young men grow up online. So much of their lives were broadcast to fans and even then we're not seeing the truly personal sides of them. I'm sure they have all fought, been mean, or snapped before. They've lived in each other's pockets for so long it would be weird if they hadn't had moments like those.
Jimin seems like he was especially overly sensitive when he was young? (Me too, I could be v mean) But it seems like he's come a long way from there, though its still a part of him.

that one interview where the guy asked what their influences were and jimin said "bts" and then was like and what about it??...well that entire interview, you could tell the boys just weren't feeling it. can't even find the interview itself now, but i remember it was lackluster at best. so jimin wasn't really being petty there, i think they as a whole were tired of the same questions over and over and that was like one of MANY interviews in just one day.
the worst interview they've ever had to sit through (in recent years/abroad at least) was definitely with syke tho. not really related to the video but that interview was one of the few where bts didn't even try.

I can't say "all" - because I didn't see all the original clips - but I can say that most of these scenes are actually reactions taken out of context and cunningly cutted to eliminate the pranks and jokes that were the causes of the events.
I was looking for this comment because despite the fact that the reaction and the video were funny, the most scenes are taken out of context while the real situation was that were simply jokes between them being closer to each other and having a good time
As a Korean, I think the coke and pepsi thing wasn't really him trying to be sassy. In Korea, we call Pepsi cola, coca cola cola, and a lot of us don't really care about the name. I think there, Jimin just assumed it would be the same thing anyways. Just my opinion, but it's something my parents who can't speak english at all would do when they go abroad and are looking for drinks.
This happens in certain parts of the U.S. too. People just say "coke" as a generic term for any soda.

He actually is. RM said what the members Houses were once (I think in a VLive). But Jimin and Yoongi are Slytherins. Which makes me happy because as a Slytherin with Yoongi as my bias, that made me extremely proud to be a Slytherin. But you can absolutely tell. They're both incredibly good at reading other people and can both be Savage AF.

FYI the scenes are often edited to be more savage than they really are e.g. when Jimin told V he had bad breath, within a few seconds after they cut the video here, they were laughing with each other as V tried to breathe into the air purifier.

The members are like this with each other haha RM can be really savage, especially in English speaking interviews and they are tease each other but you can see it’s out of fun. A lot of these clips seem mean but they were all jokes in the context of the videos they are from. Personally the school episode for the run BTS series with the bells is one of my favourite episodes it’s hilarious and him getting jealous over v is super cute haha 😂

Jimin is a really polite person overall, he really takes care of what he says and how he says it to no to hurt anyones feelings, but he also can become frustrated easily and has this whiney side that i love bc i relate LMAO

A lot of these clips don't give you the context behind them, for you to be able to find them funny you kind of have to know what is going on. Like at 9:20 , Jin was poking fun at how not so wide Jimin's shoulders are in comparison to his. Jimin is a very sweet and loving person, I don't want you to get the wrong idea. He loves the other members and praises them a lot.
In this video it may seem like Jimin's just always petty/sassy, but really more often than not he's one of the absolute sweetest people to grace this rock we call earth. I noticed that you guys were really surprised by that clip where Jimin didn't want himself or J-hope to be in the video because, as he stated, they were "both ugly." Although they laughed at the self deprecating joke they made, the statement kind of hurts when you have knowledge of Jimin and Hobi not having very high self esteem at the time. The members have matured a lot since then and have better learned how to (here it comes...) *love themselves* throughout all of the hardships they've endured together. They all once had a discussion regarding how they've all changed and grown since debut, and in general they all stated that they've gotten a lot "softer" and just more comfortable with themselves and each other in general. Yes though, much like Jimin's song "filter" there are many different aspects of what makes Jimin himself, much like any other human being.

I think a lot of his outbursts were when he was younger and just angry. He's a lot better. STILL savage AF but better.
It is funny to see Jimin’s reactions lol. Though I don’t see him as mean as you say, because there are reasons for different moments (if you look back). I do have to say the last one was on the petty side though lol. I feel like some (not all) of these moments were provoked and I think the guys know it lol. Especially in the earlier years, Jimin felt like he had so much to prove in his worth (whatever that is to him) and I felt that’s why he took everything more seriously if you’re messing with his vibe. It took him years to learn not to beat himself in his head and love himself better, and now he is just a happier guy. The sweetness and angel side of him has always been there. But living with seven completely different teens and young adults from different towns, you’re bound to get on each other’s nerves and know how to press each other’s buttons. But as Suga (as well V) has said very recently, they rarely fight. They already know what each is thinking just by looking at each other’s faces. Their bond is tight and they love each other

I know it’s 3 years later but after watching this again, I have to comment:
Many of these scenes are taken out of context and you don’t see what happened beforehand; quite frankly, some of his ‘retaliations’ or ‘clap backs’ were deserved! And if you know anything about their history, then you know that back then, Jimin was teased and picked on mercilessly by the members; they would all gang up on him and make him the butt of their jokes. Whether just in fun or not, they took it too far a lot of the time and he mostly laughed it off…but they did and said hurtful things - and very often in front of their fans.
So, if I were him, I would’ve developed a temper and clapped back every so often too! And remember, these aren’t scenes all within days of each other - they’ve been taken off of many different shows over time. I think this video portrayed him in a bad light…it should’ve come with a message beforehand that context was missing!!!!
Just to let you know yoongi is going to be featured in a song he also produced for solo artist IU who is a major artist in Korea and is known as a digital monster because of how huge/successful she is so please look out/forward to the song its called eight!!! it's going to drop in 7 hours p.s just so you know how huge she is in korea shes at the same level as bts
