Your colours you pick are Brilliant colours. I some times have trouble picking my colours as in matching the colours that go together well. Could you help me as how to choose my colours please any advice would be so appreciated. I absolutely love your Colouring work in your books. I love this book. Thank you Karen xx

Hi Karen, if you mean the colours to compose a picture. Try to use opposite/ complimentary colours on the colour wheel but keep them in the same hue. I might do a video on this down the track to explain it better. For example reds with greens, purples with yellows, blues with oranges etc.

Happy New Year Karen. Silly question - do you sharpen your pencils differently for different elements? It seems sometimes they're needle sharp (1:23 with dioxazene purple hue), and sometimes short, sharp tips (44 min sandbar brown). What kind of sharpener? I really enjoy your relaxed approach; thank you for sharing.

I dont know if this would help you, but personally I have two different manual sharpenets, one for super-long, sharp points that I use with Polys and Lumis b/c they can take it and it helps with details and another that gives a "regular sharp point" on any pencil I want to use.

I sure do. I mostly use my t’gaal on number 1, which gives the short sharp point. The long sharp tips is from my Derwent Superpoint manual sharpener. When you see me using that it’s usually because the pencil lead has broken and I prefer this to heating the pencil. However the Derwent really eats the pencils up.

@@alli_went_bonkers Karen takes the intimidation out of it, doesn't she. Put the pencil in a shady bit and start running. think this is my favorite Kerby book so far. Will look at the Superpoint. Thank you for your reply.
