    OMG you are amazing. I’m pleased to have come across your channel. I’m new to colouring with adult colouring books although been card making for over 20 years. I’ve been wanting to colour this page since buying the book a couple weeks ago but was overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start. Soon as I started watching your tutorial, I spent hours trying to select my Arteza pencils and finally started colouring along with you. I’m so great full for all your tutorials and all the hard work it must be to actually put video together, but your amazing and no doubt I’ll colour the whole of this book with your tutorials. Thank You, Nessa from UK xxx

    you are so right about kerby rosane books being daunting. When i first got it i was feeling a little panicky and overwhelmed but i loved the drawing., when finding your tutorials and how you advise that you break it down into sections and following kerbys shading - you are a genious!

    I am so happy to have stumbled across you. I am a beginner and after purchasing this book, I thought, "well that is a waste, way too hard for me." But... I am trying my hand along with you and wish had an instant pause button every other second. lol. I do have a question though. I have watched some videos (several) that all say LIGHT pressure. When looking at what you are doing, it seems your colors go down much darker than mine. So, I am curious about the pressure you are using. Thanks for your AMAZING videos.!!!

      Oh gosh I’m glad you found me too as this book is to spectacular to not be coloured in.
      So…. I’m quite heavy handed, light pressure isn’t in my vocabulary 🤣
      I do have a video that talks you through how I shade. It is one of my earlier videos.
      But what I mostly do is work darkest times lightest and I will put the darkest colour down with heavy pressure and slowly fade that out by reducing the pressure. Then I’ll use my next colour and overlap the area previously coloured starting at the point where the dark colour is no longer burnished (meaning where you can’t see any white paper underneath) and repeat the process.

    Does anyone use the colorless blender on their work?

    Beautiful!! I don't have chocolate but I have sepia. Would that work instead? I have all the other colors. I'd love to color along. 🤗❤

    • @MyColourfulCountryLife
      @MyColourfulCountryLife  Před 4 lety +1

      Is this for the tree trunk? Sepia will be too dark. You could try swapping it for sienna Brown, or leaving it out all together. Another way would be to start with dark umber, then dark brown then straight to light Umber etc

      @@MyColourfulCountryLife I didn't specify. My fault. 🤭😂 . The chocolate you used in the tiger. Lol. I'm dumb. Great pointers for the tree trunk though. I've got sienna brown, light, and dark umber, and dark brown. 🤗 I love your work! I'll tag you in IG tomorrow so you can see the antelope I did. It took forevvveeerrrrr. 😂😂😂🥰🙏🙌✍🦌

      Oh lol no my fault. Try the dark brown in its place, it’ll be a little darker but should blend out okay. I’m really looking forward to seeing your antelope ❤️
