i LOOOOOOVVVEEEEEEEE this episode. It's a great concept going to different places and rating similar foods. Hope you keep it up.
You guys missed coco and vivi's and chatime!!! Omg you failed! Those three chains are everywhere. Prince Tea House is exclusive to flushing now. And Cheryl's bangs are so disturbing.....
+Cheryl lin i love chatime they really do have good bubbletea.
Coco has the best tea
Thank you for this video. I really enjoyed it and it made my day. You guys are awesome :)
"MY TOOTH JUST CRACKED!!!" Love Dan in any videos 😂😂😂❤
I'm mainly in Manhattan due to work so my place is Coco and their Two Ladies Bubble tea. Ughh I'm drooling for it now!
Hey Mike and Dan!! I really like your videos, but i absolutely loved your videos of Chinese legends and stuff like that. I would REALLY love it if you could make more of those vids, but its totally upto you guys. Keep being awesome!!
+Shaswat Nair Thanks! there will be more for sure!
THANKS FOR DOING THIS!!! I'm visiting NYC and this video is exactly what I was looking for. It'd be great if you just had a spreadsheet or something that summarized everything so that I didn't have to fast forward through the video to find all the details.
Love the video as always, keep it up guys!
+Dancatpro Thanks!
I love bubble tea!
I love Taro Bubble Tea! Semi sweet is perfect. Had it in a small shop in Boston's China Town.
Sooo happy for this episode!!! I'm a bubble tea junkie!! I try to find iron every country I travel to, it's so much fu n!!
Love you guys! When I drink bubble tea I just drink it, not picky about it, I just slurp it up and gone in seconds. Btw, I thought Dan didn't like bubble tea?
WELL DONE!!! love bubble tea!!!!!!!!! bubbles!!!!!!! tea!!!!!! YEEEEEEEES!!!!!!! you gentlemen are great
Honestly I feel like my favorite is bubble chacha😅😅 I love the milk tea. It's so GOOD😍😍
coco bubble tea is my favorite spot in flushing. I always get the carmel chocolate or vanilla chocolate
We have a Comebuy here in Germany , Berlin too! And i was very surprised when you tasted the tapioca bubbles and they were hard. Our place makes it super soft =) Maybe different people make tapioca differently . Thank you for this informative video! Now I know what to go for when I will be in the States =)
If you visit southern california, i can give you a list of boba shops to visit ^^
Will you guys collab with the Fung Bros?
Yes! They should
YES.
Def would love ya to try out some taro milk teas!
Been to all the places where you went to. Flushing is great.
I found this on my recommended and I'm going to New York in October so this is V E R Y useful information for my travels 😂😂
You guys totally crack me up !!!!! but i'll tell you my destructive nature , those bubbles 'Really Shoot So Far' with that straw .... hehe ,,, but, I really enjoy your videos !!
I'm going to try bubble tea this weekend for the first time!
It's great! I hope you like it ;)
VirtuAll Tech thank you!
Cheryl, you look like Kelly Chen, the singer.
Awesome video, Double Chen!
Loved this video👌👍
My favourite bubble tea is matcha green tea and then strawberry bubbles😍
gong cha doesn't have good tea flavour, but you should try the grass jelly in place of bubbles. it's pretty addictive stuff! if you are ever in Toronto, go to pacific mall into the last aisle where other bbt places are, and in the middle of the aisle right by an emergency exit there is this tiny little shop that makes AMAZING hong kong style milk tea with great bubbles too. highly recommend!!
Ugh I have two bubble tea places in my city and I'm grateful for that. SO JEALOUS of all the variety you have in NY. It sucks living in the Midwest (Indianapolis). That potted milk tea was pretty (the sprout was cute ☺️). P.S. Dan you're looking extra handsome these days! The longer hair looks nice on you. Yi is a lucky lady 😌. Tell her we miss her face and have her in a video soon k?
I used to work at Coco Tea I'm sad you missed it we make all the drinks by hand and make fresh boba 3x a day sometimes more if its busy like on the weekends.
After watching you guys having drink bubble tea, I went out and got some haha.
i love it how they went to mikes favorite place and when the girl said she liked it he was nodding his head like girll i know!!
I'm moving to NY this fall and omg thank you for this video! Coming from the garden grove/westminster area in southern california, boba is quite important to me ^^
+Nidia Valle you will have no shortage of bubble...i mean BOBA (cuz we know all west coast asian calls it that ;) tea in flushing and chinatown manhattan and elmhurst, queens
i have usually emwent to the place near marina high school in hb ca for boba tea or at 7 leaves tea also one place in asian garden mall is good i liked the taro drink
High fives, I used to live in Westminster! I've had boba all around the country and I can confidently say that SoCal has some of the best boba in the states. 7Leaves, Tastea, Class 302, and ShareTea are my absolute faves.
Definitely try TBaar, they have some solid boba that can compete with the boba in SoCal.
Cha duuuuudee i have been missing 7leaves and almondhaus recently and craving class 302 and cha for tea :
Same here, I'm living in Chicago now and I miss my fave boba so much 😢. I went to check out almond haus one time, the smaller one, but it was so small there was no space to really sit and hang out... lol, good almond milk tea though if I remember correctly. And it was the same for me with Tastea haha, I literally used to go every night after work 😂
in california, my favorite tea house is HALF AND HALF!! It's only in Cali in the 626 area and it's amazinggg! The cup sizes are huge with high-quality ingredients (no powder, syrups, no artificial stuff. only real tea, actual milk, and fresh fruit)!! Some people might find it pricey (about $5 a cup, depending on what size and flavor you get) but I've been to other tea houses with same price but smaller cups and not as tasty as Half and Half. If you're around Cali in the 626 area, GO TRY IT RIGHT NOW!!
Cheryl is so adorable awww 5:20 - 5:25
I'm in New York for the week and I'm going to try at least one of these!!
Wow bubble tea expert there! To me all bubble tea are nice and tasty, It's just me!
awesome cuz i can easily get to 4 different tbarr shops (i live at brooklyn, there r 3 in 8ave n 1 at 86th street and 20 (i think?))
Tbaar is really popular in Brooklyn, NY and in manhattan also in Chicago
Cheryl is so pretty!!
If you have the chance to, go to a drink place called bambu. It's sells bubble tea but there are other desert drinks that you should try.
Ahhh! You guys should of tried big bear bubble tea in Elmhurst its so yummy!
+SimplyYue Is that the same place as the panda place??
Nooo! The one by Topline & Dunkin Donuts!! :D
Some of the total scores were higher than the average of the variable numbers? What's the point of scoring individual factors if the overall score isn't reflective of it...?
i love her vest thing and her turtle neck shirt super cute and then theres me in a t- shirt and my brothers shorts
Hey Dan - that's a snazzy watch. What kind is it?
Omg! I've been to gong cha! so so good!
good video, but you missed coco, which is my favorite bubble tea place. its only like two blocks away from both shiny tea and the new world mall.
omg i love teaus.....i go there all the time with my friends
never tried bubble tea but it looks good
I just want to say that I love Dan.
Yeah man... I do.
We finally got some boba (we live in SC, in a town not exactly fluent in the language teas except ... sweet tea) and it was so nice on this hot and humid day...until I almost inhaled a pearl walking around and accidentally spit on my son. Haha! interactive for sure! We enjoy your videos quite a bit.
My favorite here in San Francisco is TPump, Cheryl also looks a lot like Kelly Chen
I get bubble tea every week and I recommend you to taste it. And there's different flavors too.
this is helpful cuz I be going to new york tomorrow
i agreee
I second Shiny Tea. They're really good! I'm surprised you guys skipped over Coco, and Chatime. They're decent. I go to Coco when I can't go to Shiny.
mike and canada goose yay !
I love how the verbal descriptive rating differs so much from the numbers I would expect based on the judgement :D
When they say "These bubbles are way too hard for me, I don't like it" they are still giving a 5 or 6 when I would assume it is worth nothing more than a 3 ^^
Very interesting :)
You guys should try PaTea bubble tea! They're my #1 while KFT is my #2!
She's so cute!!!
Have you guys tried happy lemon?
Okay, I know this video is old and so I don't know if anyone will see this comment, but I HAVE to defend Gong Cha. I love Gong Cha because their tea flavor is so clean. BUT you have to order 50% sweet. 70% is their standard if you don't specify, 100% is extra-sweet, but 50% is actually the perfect level. Their earl grey and jasmine are also just amazing. Clean, clear tea flavors. Plus their fruity teas are FANTASTIC. I highly recommend the lemon aiyu.
I-Tea here in bay area, cali is the best! i’ve yet to find any to compares to it
Bubbles aren't boba, guys.
It's called bubble tea because of the bubbly froth it makes when being mixed/shaken.
Bubble tea usually comes with boba, so it's a common mistake.
There is only one video on her site. Did she close it down?
And I feel like I want bubble tea right now! Ill get calais tmmrw morning sigh
will you review ViVi bubble tea?
mikey , how many channels do you have?what am I misssing?
Huggs,silky
Funny thing about the bubbles is that originally it's not referring to the tapioca pearls. It's referring to the way it was originally made, which was shaken up, like a cocktail, where bubbles would form on the top.
I think foreigners called them it all bubble tea because boba was hard to pronounce or maybe bubble sounds more appetizing. That's why I was shocked they kept saying bubble
god i wanna try bubble tea so bad. maybe one day, when i venture outside my small shity town.
I would love to do this testing with you 😂😂
My favorite bubble tea is 50嵐 from Taiwan, a.k.a KOI in Singapore
I'm surprise you missed CoCo bubble tea. There is one near where you are on Broadway and one on Main street Flushing. The bubble tea from CoCo taste the same as Shiny Tea.
Is the white bubble sago?
Double Chens know how to hook up with beautiful ladies
Eli benz Trust me, I know ;D
oo cheryl
I know a place where I can get it. I just haven't tried it yet because I never really liked combining milk and tea. That's a British thing xP subbed to Cheryl. Lol She's not THAT tall.
watching this while having no clue what bubble tea is :D
do they sell any in the UK? (wales maybe?)
+TheMissPelled what?? you gotta get to chinatown my friend and try one! (they also call it boba)
+TheMissPelled They are like Starbucks to white girls as Bubble tea are to asians
+TheMissPelled Bubble tea is milk/ powder milk with tea plus chewy tapioca balls. It very good. it original from Taiwan. So as you can see in the video, most place sell, but not as good as in Taiwan of course. I search it up and i don't know if this place is good. But you can go and give it a try. Let me how is it.
Name: Bubblebase ltd
Address: Queens Arcade Shopping Centre, Cardiff CF10 2BY, United Kingdom
There's Boba jam (I think) and Bubbleology
you can try it, but i don't know if it will taste good.
i love gong cha
i thought dan hated bubble tea
Ten Ren's in College Park Maryland is good but the person making it could make or break your bubble tea. Sometimes there are powder chunks which is upsetting. But if you are in CP then Wasabi Bistro is the place to go. Their bubble tea is consistently smooth (probably because a machine does it), it has good bubbles and different flavor bubbles too, also the size is bigger than Ten Ren's for 0.55 more.
yes gong cha
did they drink this all in one day?
I want bubble tea now 😂😅
I always get the smoothies at my Local Bubble tea place. I find it tastes like cereal milk, way to sweet. I prefer the smoothies with the pearls. 🙂
I meant to say that the bubble tea tastes to sweet, like cereal milk. 😜 I can't edit my comments on my iPad unlike my laptop. 😒
8:53-8:55 LOOOL THAT LADY XD
o3o there was a Kungfu inside of the food court I wonder why they went to the one in another mall
what would you guys rate Vivi or Coco?
I'm just surprised no one is lactose intolerant. Fresh milk, powdered milk anything dairy kills me. Several Chinese people around me also can't handle dairy products. Seems pretty common.
Coco has the best bubble tea all around!
Best bubble tea is tarot milk tea with no bubbles. Sweet, creamy and smooth.
You guys leaving OTGW took away its magic. Double Chen is much better!
When will you guys come to Taiwan or UK if ever?
I totally agree!!!
+riddlers91 Mike was already in Taiwan a while ago.
The most popular bubble tea in Taiwan is 50岚, which is really nice but I'm not sure if they have expanded into NYC
My house is right next to a Kung Fu tea and Vivi tea in Brooklyn. I still can't decide which one I like more
I love Gong Cha. I usually just order one with only 30% sugar, and I don't think they use powdered milk here.
I always go to Chatime for bubble tea.
should've gone to boba guys
I think you guys should have ordered each drink with no sugar. That way you can actually taste the tea itself and judge the drink on the actual flavor vs how sweet the drink is. As for my go to drink, I like the roasted oolong milk tea from Ten Ren.
+Freshie55 But they wanted to order it how the place would normally serve it if you just went in and asked for the black milk tea without really knowing what else to ask for.
indirect kisses!
YOU CAN'T GRADE BUBBLE TEA BASED ON SWEETNESS WHEN YOU CAN TITRATE SWEETNESS IN YOUR ORDER.
THIS IS CLEARLY IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS!!!!!!!
(p.s. great video)
Kung Fu boba hands down! My favorite
Teado is the best!
Hahaha That lady behind them at McDonald's
