Heyyyyy lovelies, In this video I am going super glamorous with these Jesmonite Black and Gold Druzy and Crystal trays. I am using Druzy cuts and a Crystal Mould from Goldline Artistry. See 'UNBOXING VIDEO' for details. I am also using a tray from Goldline Artistry. One tray is from Amazon and is linked in my storefront. I am using Floating Pigment powder and Gold Mica Powder from Just 4 you online and Mica from The Colour Cottage.
I was inspired to use Druzy's with Jesmonite by the amazing Petra Gerbracht.

I drink lots of coffee, and I get oil/ acrylic and I hate to say resin if I'm not REALLY careful on the cup...Paint EVERYWHERE. 💅🎨👚👖Please use the motto, I would appreciate you telling the viewers it came from me. I could see the Hedgehog as soon as you took it out of the mould!!! I've never actually seen one in the flesh and I'm gutted about that! And you are totally right about black and gold. Add dark red and that is FIRE to me! TFS :)
ohhhh a few said this haaa but honestly I was just fully expecting crystals so I just could not see it at all haaaaa then Bammm saw the nose and thought it was theeee cutest mould ever ! xxx so glad you like these ... oh you have never seen one? These are great! It looks like you are in the mine itself where it is pitch black. The sunlight reflects off of the gold and gleams as each ray strikes the surface. Then you see the clusters sticking up like huge chunks of crystal gold. You are so right, elegant, sleek, and I thought it would look so good with a strand of pearls and a few gold rings. Anyone would love to receive these A a gift. Thank you for sharing!

I must admit that after looking through her page I knew she has a hedgehog mould and suspected strongly that it was what you had before you de-moulded...

These are so pretty! I really really love the crystals and the gold texture looks like iron pyrite. I would try to mimic peacock pyrite with those moulds :D

Gorgeous! 😍 Have you ever tried to mix resin and Jesmonite? 🤔 I once tried to mix resin and white cement, it worked so good! I mixed the resin and the hardener as usual then added a little bit of the white cement 👍 Thanks for sharing your videos! I love watching them!

Question. I get that you need to demould Jes at 30 mins. I get that if you leave it longer they sweat - what if you leave it for days? what happens then? does the sweat clear?

I think some crystal molds that aren't quite as detailed would be okay for the jesmonite but I'm sure the chipped one looks good too 🥰
ahhhh they are so much fun .. and those crystal moulds were fabulous for sure. I have no doubt that if I left the Jesmonite for a solid hour I would have got them out fine but I was too worried about them sweating x
@@ClairesCraftyCorner question; are the druzy sheets silicone themselves? What kind of texture do they have? Do they remain kind of soft and flexible over the jesmonite?

@@liliespetals19 the Druzy sheets are silicone yes ... if you check out Petra Jongbleud .... she makes her own Druzys... so incredible xx they are super soft and squishy and can be used over and over

heyyyy lovely .. no they simply stick with suction x they are also silicone so they stick to silicone very tight x

if u dont like the backs if there are lines or blobs like u can see how can u get rid of that? a black resion cover?
heyyyy Vicki ... if your backs have lumos and bumps then you can do a couple things. If you want a super sleek smooth back you can sand it back and fill holes with same colour and sand again x Or like me .. I stick a cork back on them .. nobody will ever see it x

Which powder you using
What is the material you put in the tray mold? How is it called?
I don't know about jesmonite being weak. I've never found that. And with some of my projects. I do use chopped fibreglass in the mix.
Ohhh I find it solid ... solid as a rock ... it literally bounces when dropped 🤣🤣🤣
@@ClairesCraftyCorner I was listening to you saying we all know jesmonite is weak in the video so I was referring to what I heard. Jesmonite will never be as durable as resin. But it's better than plaster on its own. I want to try the real metal powder jesmonite ac 730 aparantly it very durable and you can get brass. Bronze. Silver. It looks great on the you tube videos.
@michaelpearson1272 ohhhhhh .. I think I was referring to De-Mould ... Jesmonite is VERY weak on De Mould so extra care is needed around that time. It's gets stronger by the hour though 😍😍😍
@@ClairesCraftyCorner yea I know what you mean. I use water slide transfers and nail art on my pieces I just got some beautiful victoriana flowers etc. My grand children said we didn't know you wore nail art grandad.

How do you clean your molds after using dark pigments in them?
heyyyy Abigail .. if the pigment stains I use a wet wipe or warm soapy water xxx
