Heyyy lovelies, In this video I am showing you how I created an abstract design in Jesmonite using predominantly Mica Powders for colouring.
The trinket tray mould used in this video is linked in my Amazon storefront.
I have been so inspired this week by Paper Packs and designs within them that is started me off on a journey to create some trays inspired by them. All of my paper pads have been purchased from The Range in the UK. I am going to look for them on Amazon I do not know if they are available there.

Can you wash the black off the mold after? I’m making candles & trays, but just starting, & learning so much.
The Paper Source is a great place. We have some really one in Los Angeles, CA absolutely awesome paper!!
🤣🤣🤣 if it makes you feel better, my son caught me admiring my paper pads and craft supplies, sometimes just holding them, looking at them and admiring them brings me a sense of peace and joy...I think it goes in line with color therapy. Either way, it's my guilty pleasure...and you're not the only one lol

These may be my favorite trays you've done to date. They are stunning!! Thanks so much for the inspiration!! I've been a scrapbooker/paper crafter for about 35 years (back to when there was no scrapbook paper & you had to make do with printer paper, stationary, or whatever you could find), so I have hundreds of paper packs/pads. Yes. I have a paper addiction. And now I have even more ideas of ways to use them! Thanks again. Happy Creating!!!!

To answer your question, I buy resins and jesmonite from Resinpro and Reschimica, but most of the molds and colours from Amazon, AliExpress and Shein.

Okay, to match your vibe, I'm in love with themmmmm😁. I would've probably done the same colors but with a dark forest green for the leaves. Speaking of the leaves and the fine tip nib. I'm thinking if you do one tray at a time instead of two, and a little smaller bottle to keep waste to a minimum, you will have time to do those details before the squeezing becomes difficult. The quality of the last leaf was noticeably off from the others. So, do one tray's line and fill work, then do any others on the agenda. Then, finish with the white bottom coat at the same time. That white made everything POP.

You absolutely caught the essence of the paper design but brought your own interpretation to it. They are gorgeous, I love the colours and think your black leaves and lines added to the design. I would love to see it in navy, green and teal. When I get organised I might try something similar. Enjoyed watching as always 🙌🤩🥰

You got the feeling without copying exactly! The black leaves would look good against the colours of a flaming sunset sky. Like yellow, blue, purple and pink. I love to paint sunsets and then add a bare tree, sometimes with snow, in front of it. With sqiggles, dots and leaves I think almost any colours would do as long as they match, like shades of blue, purple, gold or brown as you did here.
