45 minutes from Sanur are the islands of Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. They are close to Bali but seem a million miles away with clean aqua beaches hardly any hawkers trying to sell you cheap t shirts and a vibrant food and beverage scene with a mixture of local and international cuisine.

Stayed on Ceningan last year. Took the scooter up into the jungle, the cafes overlooking the straight between Ceningan and Penida are amazing.
Really enjoyed both of these small islands, i did it all on foot which for me was a lot of fun. Met so many lovely local people. Dissapointed to see so so much rubbish everywhere though......spent some time on Nusa Penida but a completely different island in so many ways.

Did the twin Islands in October 23. Went scuba diving and explored both islands by scooter. You are si right, Muzza, such beautiful relaxing islands. Love it there. Thanks for showing King Muzza, 😂
Thanks I will check it out as we would not need the entire place. Would be great to book just downstairs and get the pool/bar for just us. If we book it we will definitely use you as the reference so you get the help. We plan to be in Bali around October/November, and hope to meet up!

OK another question. If getting transport from Nusa Lembongan to Cennigan, how do they manage the people and luggage across the yellow bridge? Or does it have to be done by boat? When we come we will probably just use a small backpack and have our own scooter to get across.

Have you been to the Maldives or Bora Bora or Turks and Caicos. Makes that resort look average.
And the price refects accordingly

Just wondering. Do you know if you book just the downstairs villa, does it mean you share the pool and bar with upstairs guests? Ir for total privacy do you have to book the entire place!
You get the whole villa to yourself generally. They have not yet booked separate families at the same time

I'm looking to vacation in Bali.
I have not booked my flight yet, but I understand that I need to book a flight prior to getting my visa.
I plan on getting the 30-day VOA visa. I would like to stay in Bali for ~45 days.
If I book my arrival & return flight 45 days apart, and I plan on extending the visa once, will I be granted the initial 30-day visa in the first place?
Or will I be rejected because my time in Bali exceeds the 30-day visa? (I plan on extending)
I need to book my flight assuming I'll extend my visa. Because the airlines require a return ticket to travel in the first place.
You can easily extend your visa but I believe you need an agent here to sort the extension
