- After 4 long years, I have made it back to Nusa Penida. This time staying in the very first luxury hotel built on this island. With our very own private villas at Māua, we got to spend 2 amazing days exploring this instagram famous island. While rock climbing diamond beach we found it to not be easy but the views and beach are pristine and worth the trek.

My first time back in Nusa Penida in 4 years! WOW has this island changed and developed so quickly. If you guys do end up visiting nusa penida deff check out Maua, such an incredible stay there. No more guest houses for us next time we visit 😆

I was in Nusa Penida in 2018 and saw all the new development going on. I knew exactly why. This place is jaw-droppingly STUNNING. Absolutely breathtaking and the views from the rumah pohon treehouse overlooking Diamond beach was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. It's mind-numbingly beautiful and dramatic. I get goosebumps just thinking about it. The roads definitely need an upgrade and google maps was not always giving us the best directions, but my wife and I swear by this place to everyone. Bali = great, but Nusa Penida was on a whole other level. I'm curious to see how much it has been developed now (hopefully it won't be over-exploited). Side note, make sure to bring lots of cash when you go down to diamond beach, because it was super-expensive (relatively speaking) to buy drinks and do the swing.

I went to Nusa Penida for a couple days in 2019 and you could definitely see all the construction and development that was going on. I'm excited to see what they do there as it was one of the most beautiful places that I have ever been to!

wow bro that resort looks amazing!!! Dam maybe I should head to Bali. Last time I went to Nusa Penida was in 2014 it was amazing. It was favorite place in Indonesia from the 4 places I went!

Hey Alex, thanks soooooo much for this video. My wife and I are going to be coming here for our 3 year anniversary next month and because it is so new we have been looking for a little more in depth review of this place and your video certainly did not disappoint. I did want to ask your thoughts on the culture there when foreigners, in this case Americans, are visiting. And also besides the beach that you showed any other excursions that we should look into. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.
Thanks for watching Micha! make sure to get a bike and explore the island, just getting lost is the best way. Plenty of beaches of course, 2-3 days on the island is more than enough. Most of the attractions are beaches, snorkeling, or scuba diving. I would deff try to do a day sucba diving or snorkeling with mantas at manta cove if you can

you dont describe the road condition to this villa, because all I know lot of great hotel there have so many bad road access
All the roads in nusa penida (except for the main road) are terrible as I mentioned already in the vlog. However the last 25% of the road entering the hotel have been fully paved and nice
Before this hotel, the most luxury hotel in there is Adiwana resort
