Correction: Kimia Farma is the largest Drugstore/Pharmacy Chain across the Archipelago. The Guardian Pharmacy certainly had a very big presence in Bali, but not as prominent elsewhere. The other metropolitan cities and more remote parts of the country has Kimia Farma.
There's also a lot of dental tourism to Bali from Australia pre-covid. Dental treatments are so much cheaper there than anywhere in the continent. I cannot say the same thing for other regions, but this is something that is interesting to note.

I have been to Indonesia twice pre-Covid (Jakarta, Bali and Lombok) and I am planning to go there again in July 2022 (maybe 3 nights in Jakarta and 6 nights Lombok) from the UK but I haven't travelled since March 2020 so I'm not sure about Covid procedures but I am fully vaccinated though

According to new regulation for entering Indonesia that we need insurance which can cover at least USD 100K. If Im gonna get it from Nomad insurance, which section should I see or input that it can cover USD 100K?

Specifically, how do you get the courage (solo female here) to start and secondly how do you support yourself financially and how did you save the funds to start traveling in the first place. Been there trust me, it’s a big step but you have to have a plan and stick with it. That’s what I did. I do offer a course if at ever time you’re interested in speaking 1 on 1 about it. Kintania could offer some insight on it as well from her perspective

I visited Bali and Lambok years ago. I did have an international license on me, the police did stop us on a motorbike and said it was to check for license. He seemed shocked I had an international license. Really, he just wanted a bribe, so came up with something else ( headlights wasnt turned on in the middle of the afternoon). I paid about $5 and was on my way.
As a Gothic, I will provide a travel experience when visiting Indonesia for 7 months. I will tell you honestly because I don't like fakes, in the eyes of many foreign tourists, Indonesian tourist attractions are underestimated. Because they think that in Indonesia there are no very attractive places such as skyscrapers, modern trending places, luxurious culinary delights and world-class tourism. But I will explain, that their thinking is wrong.
For me personally, even though Indonesia doesn't look fancy, it doesn't look expensive and it doesn't look stylish. However, Indonesia cannot be judged by price, because it appears simple but very meaningful. That's the most important thing. When I was there, I found 81 strange and unique natural attractions that even looked like they weren't real. I was speechless, because what I saw was like a different dimension. This is no joke.
Let's compare and imagine, a skyscraper to me looks ordinary, a restaurant with a luxurious place to me is ordinary, a man-made tourist spot for me is also ordinary. Because they are all over the continents of Europe, America and Asia so it's not something epic and crazy. But in Indonesia you can stand in a natural tourist spot where you have experienced a major natural disaster that has impacted the world and claimed a very large number of lives. That's something very crazy in a lifetime, not only 1 or 2 places but there are so many in Indonesia. That's what amazes me, something that looks luxurious can't beat something that is very meaningful in life. Know about it.
Indonesia made an impact on the world by having a history of enormous natural disasters written by the International Museum. Don't get me wrong, even though Indonesia doesn't look luxurious, its simplicity can have an impact on the world. In fact, many tourist attractions in Indonesia are included in the category that is immortalized by the international world. I visited Indonesia to learn something very important and I felt the sensation. The experience of traveling to Indonesia cannot be judged by price, but by meaning. In the eyes of ordinary people, Indonesian tourist attractions look unattractive because they are not modern, but for a scientist, historian and researcher it is a special trip.
I'm talking about the whole area of Indonesia, tourist attractions in Indonesia are crazy. Saved in the heart. Explore more than 50 tourist attractions in Indonesia, then you will know that Indonesia is very amazing.
Especially when you can minggle with the Indonesian, stay in their house, to feel their hospitality to guest especially for foreigner, and attend Indonesian traditional wedding ceremony in the village, explore the nature with the local and it will be feel more amazing. 😉

Jakarta has a lot skyscrapers more than each country in europe tho. But it's great to know your love towards indonesia

As 30yr asian veteran i wouod say Indonesia has a long way to go to catch up with the likes of Thailand and Vietnam the tour prices online inflated and you have no ther options for tours but online as in Thailand and Vietnam yoy can go to an office you can walk around and barter

How is public transport for wheelchair users? Buses are not accessible and taxi is too expensive. So what's the solution for 'us'
in jakarta its possbile to use wheelchairs with the updated bus/metro system. outside of jakarta will be difficult
