I have beed with my husband for 30 years and he cut the back of my hair… once. Never again!

I let my husband help me dye my long hair ONE TIME and then never again!😅 He actually did a great job of doing small sections and saturating everything, but he was so focused on that it ended up taking over an hour to get all the color on. So obviously then my hair was WAY overprocessed and it took forever to grow out😂 He passed away 3 years ago, though, so I would give anything to have him around to ruin my hair again

From 2017 to 2019, I was on chemo. 2020 rolls around and I had an appointment scheduled for April for my first post-chemo haircut. Well, that didn't work out. My husband ended up cutting my hair in May 2020. Not only did he do a great job and exactly what I asked for, it was special having him give me my first haircut after my hair grew back. To this day, he's still the only one that's cut my hair since it grew back.

I think the 2nd guy really wants his wife to have shorter hair (not necessarily a pixie just shorter.) That's why he's been asking to cut it and cut so much. The length actually looks good on her but he's a stone cold villain.

I didn't finish watching the guy gutting his wife's hair. He really didn't seem to give a rats butt and did what he wanted. And she was a fool to allow him to continue. This video felt like he was being vindictive and hateful. And that is my truly how I saw the portion I could handle.

I thought the same thing. I've noticed that in some videos where girls let their friend do their hair too. Maybe they're a bit jealous or something, but sometimes you can see they're enjoying doing whatever they want to their friend or partner's hair, even enjoying ruining it.

Back in the 70’s when my parents got together, my dad had long hair and would primp and cut his own hair. So, when my mom moved in with him she asked him to cut her hair. Thinking he would be careful with her hair, much like he was with his own, she told him just do what you do with you own hair. He then proceeded to take a huge chunk of hair and lop it off with total disregard! My mother was in tears and he was like, you asked me to do this! She said it looked horrible but it makes for a great story now 45years later 😅😅

20 years ago I kept my curly hair waist length and I always had my husband trim it. Since it was both extremely long and curly it never showed if it wasn’t perfect.
Since covid started I’ve been having my 20 year old daughter cut it at home. I keep it shoulder length now with internal layers and she does a great job.
The one and only time I asked my husband if he could check to see if the bottom of my hair was even his answer was, "Sure I'll use a comb but I'm not about to pick up scissors. I don't want to be responsible for whatever might happen!"

my husband has a natural talent for hair cutting it seems. I had him trim my hair during lockdown, first time he ever cut hair and honestly he did an amazing job. now if I can just convince him to give me regular trims lol

I actually think the husband didn't like the long hair and that's why he wanted to cut it in the first place, cut off way more then she wanted and talked her into cutting more and more off.
He didn't respect her wishes, so not trustworthy and doesn't respect her. Things that are important to her are meaningless to him. I would have broken up with him for that. No one crosses my boundaries and stays in my house.
But you are smart enough not to ask.😊

First husband: last time playing hairdresser! She was already crying after the first layer.

My husband has been cutting my hair for me since shortly after we met. He was doing the full sectioning from the start, excellent results every time. He loves my hair long, so there is no worry that he is going to get scissor happy on my hair. My best friend watched him do my hair and asked him why he doesn’t just put it in a ponytail and cut it all at once. He explained that he sections my hair so that he is cutting manageable amounts, as if he tried to cut too much at once, the blades would push the hair before it cuts, leaving an uneven mess. When he finished my hair, she said, “I’m next!” and took a seat on the stool and got caped. He did the full sectioning and trimmed about an inch off her mid back length hair, exactly as she asked. She asked if she could book her next appointment, and no one else has been allowed near her hair since with shears. She likes his work and getting free haircuts from my guy that is very meticulous and not scissor happy.
On one hand I'm like "why don't you go to a professional" and on the other hand I'm like "some of these partners are almost INTENTIONALLY doing a horrible job" lolol
Hair Buddha is such a comedian! I laugh out aloud watching his videos. He also seems to sincerely care about the poor unfortunate hair disasters.
The first chop isn't even that bad!! He can trim those long pieces and with a nice blow dry that would look great! A nice side part with a volume blow out. Such healthy looking hair 😍

As someone with hair down to my hips too, the second one stressed me out. I’ve had dreams where ppl have either forcibly cut my hair or I had it cut and regretted it and it made me cry in my sleep because of it
Okay - the Bob wasn't especially good, but for very amateur cutting I thought it was alright. The lady with really long hair I thought she should just have given up after the first cut (if not before the first cut)

You know I really had fear going to a hair dresser, but I like you and you are very intelligent! I would let you do my hair! You understand and you take the time to listen to people! Th first one is making me cry too. PCOS is often a giant hair struggle mixed in with hormones, unsolicited comments about your weight and never feeling beautiful even kn a good day... so I get the tears, I feel the tears.

I'd never dare to cut my long hair by myself let alone my fiancee... Especially if there's layers involved. Please go see a hairstylist. Sometimes they'd charge more to fix the "mistake" because it's time consuming, depending on how bad your "haircut" is. I cut (permanently) 3 inches when I was 20/21. Because I worked in a lap and was close to get my ponytail in the flame of the burner. These 3 inches never really grow back. I just could make them come back healthy. Should have burned it off maybe😅😂
My point. Not every hair grows back. The older I got, the more inches went off. So now my length is almost half of what it was 18 years ago at 16 years old..when it was longest. Surprisingly it is thicker then ever. It gets thicker every year. But I wish I would manage to get it down to the last rip...like the old days

OMG!!! We would be in divorce court!! I was traumatized when I was younger with bad haircuts, now I'm 5ft on a great day with long hair to the back of my knees? Haha i asked my husband to help me cut off all my hair last year for my 30th because I wanted to try something way out of my comfort zone and he did lol I’m loving playing around with my hair as it grows out. I’ve even bleached it at home 🤦♀️ following your tips of course and so far so good lol my kids love that I’m trying new colors and honestly I feel like the colors added some happiness to my life when I needed it most it even inspired my mother in law to do hers pink lol love it
The husband who’s been asking to cut her Looong hair I think was over having to deal with her long hair … cuz it’s not just her dealing with it. It’s him too , I’m sure her hair takes up a lot of space on the bed and gets on him and also when she sits down it’s too long so this was his chance “to mess up” really it was his plan all along ! He was too calm hahaha he did it on purpose.

You have to talk EXACTLY about what to do beforehand, that's important, and if something goes wrong, don't scold so badly; After all, they didn't learn it as a profession!

I have let my husband cut my hair a couple of times, and he has done very well. I like it a little shorter than shoulder length. I part my hair and then cut the front pieces on each side of my face so my husband can see what length I want, then he just cuts it around the back to match. I think we make a pretty good team and I totally trust him.
It seems that She's even afraid to show him how upset she is, so as not to irritate him.

My husband is a body tech and mechanic , but he will do my hair and my nails . He made me cry once out of maybe 40 times , so I can forgive him after seeing it could have been worse. But in her case , this shows they love eachother enough to try it out . I love to see that for them

I’ve often let my husband cut my hair. I straighten it first so it’s all nice and straight. He takes an inch off to start with, then more if I want it. I showed him how to double check it as your going, and I can confirm he’s always done a great job. I always tell him, if you mess it up, I can soon have a short haircut done at the salon. It wouldn’t bother me. Hair grows back.
