Since being exiled by the Queen of Junkertown, this dangerous duo has burned, bombed, robbed, and killed their way across the world in search of one thing: TREASURE!
Now, these infamous Junkers have returned Down Under to bribe their way back into the Queen’s good graces. Will their plan work or will it all come up...explode-y?

If anything, this actually shows that Junkrat is probably one of the most, if not THE most, dangerous characters in Overwatch. Think about it: Reyes is on a killing spree seeking revenge, Jack is on a killing spree seeking some sort of redemption, and Moira does inhumane experiments for the advancement of science. Junkrat doesn't have a grandiose reason for doing what he does. He literally went on a worldwide heist, getting past even the most secure of banks and financial institutions, probably killing hundreds because there's no way that there wasn't any human collateral damage when you use as much explosives and reckless abandon as he does.
And he does all this.....for what? Spite. He literally robbed most if not all of the world's richest banks, casinos, and other financial institutions (which I doubt any large-scale criminal organization can even brag about). With just one henchman (apparently, Junkrat hired Roadhog). All just to spite the "Boss" of Junkertown, a nobody settlement in the ruins of Australia. You have to understand just how insignificant Junkertown is in the grand scheme of things in the world of Overwatch. And despite being a nobody town, Junkrat did one of the most noteworthy criminal feats that the world will ever know, all to spite that nobody town's leadership.
Now you might be saying that robbing banks in general isn't worse than mass killings. Well, let me put it this way: Junkrat did all THAT for such a petty reason as to spite a relatively insignificant person in the world of Overwatch.
Imagine what he would do for something like revenge.....
Vic diz Yeah, definitely the most dangerous character. Kinda weird to think that the ‘comic relief’ character in the game is one of the worst in terms of damage done.
The fact that they allude to the Junker Queen already is phenomenal planning/storytelling on the Dev's parts.

They just ran trough a list of characters in the lore and made her in
they said once that litterly anyone could be a hero they even said the omnic sniper from ashe and mcrees cinematic could be a hero, it not planning they just decided to make her a hero

I love the fact that Junkrat's apparently well thought-out and concise plan involving explosives that was conceived over the course of a heist spree across the entire world starts with "we light the fuse"

The funniest thing about Roadhog in this short is how in spite of being the silent straight man to Junkrat's hyperactivate lunacy, he actually has no objections to the overall plan (which involves blowing up the capital of their hometown), just Junkrat's shortsighted implementations of said plan.
That's something I think people forget about his character sometimes. Like, yeah, he's more stoic and serious that Junkrat but he's just as much in love with carnage as Rat is.

its not exactly a cinematic. it looks like a quick but well made advertisment for the new map wit using the In-game character models(or the same structure) . the cinematics use totally new models, thats why they take long and look more impressive. I just want Overwatch to keep making more of this with Junkrat and Roadhog. i really enjoyed it.

Junket mentioned the Junker Queen in this short in what must have been one of her first canonical references.
And now, 5 years later, we finally know what the Junker Queen actually looks like with her official animated short. Wow, 5 years. I'm happy we finally got her reveal but half a decade seems like too long of wait don't you think?
