- People say you enjoy your marriage after the FIFTH year. I've enjoyed every single year as a wife, but this FIFTH year has been exceptional. Love is such a beautiful thing. And like I always say, Courtship is the time to Love Intelligently, marriage is the time to Love blindly. But the work isn't done when you date intelligently; The same way you enrol into good school and still need to study to do well, even when you choose right, you still need to put in the work to have a good marriage. In this video, I talk about the changes my husband made as well, but the focus is on me. Because if you really want to have the marriage of your dreams, change must begin with you. As a spouse (wife), regardless if your husband is a pastor or not, a very intelligent question to ask yourself is, your intent, idea, motive, action been a help meet or support to your husband... Even when you strongly feel your opinion on that matter is right, you must first submit, and prayerfully ask God to revisit the matter of concern, so as to minister to your husband also. I personally believe its a woman's world anyway. However, God's way of you to win or settle a misunderstanding is completely different. Most times, as a wife you stoop to conquer... And God will give you the abundance of grace to do so. Even the most emperor-like, or most egotistic husband will always melt, as ice cream does in the mouth of its savour.
