    You could have saved the top of the plant by airlayering the stalk a few nodes below the lowest leaf, then once the roots formed cut the top rooted section off and potted it and still have had enough stalk left to make more cuttings.😊

    Can you give an update on this plant?

    Why did you cut off those beautiful leaves? You could have made a new plant with the leaves still on the stem, and it would have been a lot prettier to look at while it's growing roots.

      When a plant is regrowing roots it can’t support that amount of leaves! It needs to focus on putting out roots rather than supporting the massive leaves already on it.

      It takes a lot of energy for a plant to flower/ bear leaves. I cut all flowers off my indoor plants to preserve energy.

    Great video!😍 the stems don’t need to callus over before putting it in water/soil, right?
    We need an update!!😍😍

    Still a secret. You provided no guide as to where to cut , no explanation re the stick suspension etc. What was the point?

      Same was I rooted an avocado pit. Just stick the toothpicks in until you can't push further, just 1/4-1/2 an inch. The bottom of the pit or cutting just needs to reach the water. It's cool to see the roots form in the water.

    what did you do with the leaves part that you cut off? I did some like that and just stick them in soil, but some are already dying.

    • @miss_girl6978
      @miss_girl6978 Před rokem +1

      You just throw the leaves out because the leaves themselves dont root, its the stems that root

    This is a great video for watching a guy do something and not explaining what he's doing. Just by mimicking his motions, is not a way to get results. The video needs some narration to explain to the viewer what the heck is going on. USE WORDS!!!!

    He air layered to my disappointment because the leaves or stems he cut were able to go into some water, this could have better! However, it was his plant, and maybe we will understand it later! But I was disappointed at the content.

      Same here... mine broke and I immediately stuck it back in the soil (at the time didn't know if that was correct) but it worked and it so strong and beautiful.
