Gunpowder Technology in Medieval India | Military History & Empire

  • In the late medieval era, Indian empires went through both a military and sociopolitical transformation thanks to the introduction of gunpowder technology (firearms and cannons). Gunpowder weapons led to centralization and innovation. It also created "big" winners and losers -- those who were willing to adapt, and those who were not.
In this video, we'll also be examining the introduction of gunpowder technology to India through the lens of the Vijayanagar Empire (and partly the Mughal Empire). Enjoy!

But, they were the 2nd ones to use rockets, mines and pole guns and hand cannons, from where the later mortars and first cannons developed. Man I had been waiting for your video upload for so long. As a long time supporter it’s time we did something to boost your subs and also viewer numbers.
You are doing something no other channel is currently doing with regards to south Asian / Indian subcontinent military history.
You got to consider getting some Indian volunteers to get subtitles in major Indian language. Just Hindi alone will blow up your viewership as the Hindi heart land responds better to content they can understand.
Keep in mind I don’t mean to just boost numbers for financial reasons but this can become a major platform to inform Indian about the military history as there is none other channel that can explain it so factually with out invoking Nationalistic tone....
please think about this seriously and I genuinely look forward to reading your comment to my suggestion
