... I'm observing those not being brought up in godly environs; much less, those who have been, but are so influenced by the secular world that the infant in them doesn't get tamed into balanced alignment as it should, due to no guidance or acceptance of it.
So you have a situation where guys still wanting to be 'lads' at the expense of wife and family and ladies; not being equipped about womanhood not knowing how to navigate life well. All because the secular world gives a narrative that's just Hollywood (Babylonwood)
Make your bedroom sacred. Leave all your complaints at the door. Leave all your worries at the door.

Hello Rabbi. I listen to pretty much every one of your videos that are uploaded. Of course I have heard this topic by you in many other videos and I still love it every time. I must say, I think this speech you really refined and nailed the delivery in a way that the point is absolutely clear. Especially around the 16 min mark when you explain that love is a feeling to the relationship, but not the relationship itself. I want to do whatever I can to help spread this message which can save so many marriages.

Proverbs says not to spend too much time visiting at your neighbors, or he will hate you. Same in marriage. Contempt happens when there are too many expectations, which is a lack of respect for someone’s space. I tell you, the woke movement by YOUNG INEXPERIENCED PEOPLE, are causing this!.

All this is very insightful, but it needs to be rephrased from a woman's perspective on bedroom dynamics within a "holy" , but potentially long, boring marriage (something you hinted at when you mentioned "Changing the world one bedroom at a time" - hahaha, very funny, but the ideea deserves a closer look). Just as much as rabbi Friedman dislikes the concept of love as being central to marriage, a woman could just as easily disparage the ideea that marriage IS a RELATIONSHIP - be it the holiest of them all, but still a relationship like any other - with parents, brothers/sisters, children, neighbors, and, why not, employers/employees. In fact, marriage is anything but, and, once you accept this perspective, the very notion of relationship defining our social lives falls apart. Instead, the marriage becomes an overarching, all encompassing "cloud" in which not only the two spouses, but also every aspect of daily life cease to be governed by their economic function/conditioning, adopting instead a more abstract, cultural dimension that is much, much closer to GOD. This has both political and theological implications, because it inevitably leads to a new morality that changes the world (and bedroom dynamics, even with the lights on). No more grandmas and grandpas imparting wisdoms about what is happening in the bedroom, but perpetual 30 year-old lovers... :)

Every religion has its place. Based on the person's spiritual composition and level he will be attracted to religious teachings accordingly. Your first sentence is fine but the second one is not. It's like an elementary student making fun of a theoretical physicist who says "the shortest distance between two points is a curve."--what kind of perversion is that right? But who's the real fool?
He is a programmer who is programming Human Beings to be biorobots. He confuses human attachment with real Love, he is saying that there is beauty in suffering and basically twists everything. People with God inside and Soul and Spirit will stay away from his "teachings". He misinterprets the word of God and closes the way to Spiritual Eternal Life and Love to Human Beings reprogramming them and filling them up with dead programs. Not all Jews are biorobots. I'd beware of "teachers" like him. 🙁

Christians are funny because it's so easy for us to forget that everything that we know and understand is only a fraction of what Jewish culture teaches on a regular basis. Scripture originally does come from the Jewish, Hebraic, culture. Roy is absolutely correct in what he's saying about the physicists. This sounds so outlandish and borderline dangerous to people that can't understand where Jewish culture and belief is centered from. Love is amazing, healing, and important to have in relationships - but it alone, by itself and only having love, is not enough. That's where compatibility in life comes in (wanting the same things, similar goals, etc.).
