105:45 Not the same situation but similiar, a boyfriend once asked "Which celebrity or movie star would you like to be with if you had the chance?" My answer was " No, sorry but i don't play that game." He looked surprised. He continued with "C'mon what do you mean, its no big deal, who, who is it?" I said "Nope, this serves no good purpose, why would i want this conversation?" He responded with "So you can tell me, and I'll tell you mine, that way you'll know why I want to watch certain movies."
I told him, "Cute, nice try."
See, he was trying to trap me into telling me something to spark jealously through fantasy land of movie watching. A very lazy way of attempting to cause jealousy without actually doing anything or knowing anyone.
All weird bizzare questions that serve zero purpose other than possible hard feelings are meant to be a trap.

Thank you, Rabbi. This is more or less about how I met my husband. I was invited to his home for the first date. When I saw his father, his hospitality and friendliness...and their relation...i was absolutely taken by it and knew straight away this man was going to be my husband. He isn't Jewish though and I am Jewish but, unfortunately, only by my genetic inheritance (my heritage was kept in secret due to the Holocaust. I live in Poland).

I found he relationship advice really useful. I was not so comfortable with the suggestion of child marriage 15-16 year olds. I'm a social worker and have noticed in my past work that younger mothers tend to have more energy and enthusiasm, I worry that young girls could be taken advantage of. Thank you Rabbi for the advice around the importance of our own relationships with our own parents and how they need to be resolved and settled before successful marriages can happen.

Kids in Russia at 1:33:11 hit a nerve with me. My maternal grandparents lived in Russia during World War I, during the Revolution and Russian civil war. My great grandfather on my father's side was a Russian Orthodox priest. My parents and grandparents lived under Joseph Stalin. I think today's generation in the US have lived with so much freedom that they are forever children. Most of them are clueless about Russia. Some of them want to get rid of the 1st Ammendment which protects freedom of religion and speech. Now that is horrifying. 1:33:12

Dating is how you get to know different people and what kinds of things you find objectionable in a possible mate and what kinds of things you like. I went on one date with one guy, to a bar, and in 4 hours he had 7 drinks. I did not date him again. Went on two dates with a guy who graduated university two years before and found out he had not opened a book to learn anything new in two years. Went on one lunch date with a guy who believed a man should not have to open a car door for a lady. Dropped him. What body shape are you attracted to? What kind of brains are you attracted to? What are their values compared to your values? Do they show kindness?

I agree with so much of what the Rabbi is saying. My only dispute is a girl of 15 having a baby. Any age below 20 are required to to take a lot of calcium. Why? Their bodies are still growing until about 19 and a child before that take from the mothers bones not her calcium. A mother younger than age is a higher risk pregnancy and have more complications than a 20 year old. So marry at 19 and have a child at 20 and 9 months. A man reaches maturity closer to age 30 and is better equipped to protect and take on the physical burdens of life. His temper should be more even. A man’s brain does not reach full growth until age 24-26, allowing for better decision making after maturity. So a woman marrying at 20 and a man after 24-26 makes better sense. Are some more mature earlier, yes. But why not take the best ages to be long lived and mature. The age age of death was also 47-50 a the turn of the century and earlier for many reasons.

No doubt all this trouble is there today and I myself have felt it. But, is teenage marriage something to be nostalgic about? Almost all my grandparents were married as teenagers and I know one of my grandmothers hated it and never got over it and let us know how miserable she was on the issue. Her negative attitude was a legacy she gave to at least 2 generations to endure. Funny, I used to see her in best light but I don't think that highly of her anymore.

Rabi this is great wisdom but obviously suitable for jews. Unfortunately, a Shadchan is not always available for all cultures. Perhaps, my local parish is the best option....

Hi. I am Akamumpa DAvid from Africa. Do you intend to mean that a woman has to be permissive to a husband? Thank you.

Good evening from Az, Rabbi I have been listening to your teachings for a while, and impress meyour teaching on relationsgips and your soul mate, my relationsgip at the moment is one , like you described!!
He is not my soul mate!!
he does not study anymore, and he is so into himself, I need a man that will love Elohim and be faitful more then anything else...
I feel he will betray me eventually, he has wondering eyes...

    18 advertisements on purpose? 😥

The next video has an advert every 4 minutes or so, I think. I was going to comment there, then I saw your remark. When trying to talk about higher things, why be interrupted every few minutes by camp metrosexuals and others trying to sell you something? It doesn't make sense to me. Maybe the Rabbi needs to generate extra income for some reason we don't know.
I *never* knowingly click on any advert that generates money for Google, whether on YT videos or Google Ads or Doubleclick ads (hover over and make sure it's not a Google company before clicking). Google promotes its atheistic progressivism over truth and righteousness and bans videos it doesn't like, or allows them, but puts a big notice up about finding the facts on SJWpedia.
But I do other things online while listening to the Rabbi, but I've just let a few adverts slip by when I muted a previous one until the 'Skip' box appears. I believe that Google earns from ads which play to their conclusion, even if you don't click on them. You could say that writing this lengthy reply is a sort of mitzvah in case I gave a few shekels to Google. I should have been more diligent. I just stopped listening after less than 20 minutes, so I think it will be counterproductive.
I understand that these YT ads make next to nothing anyway, unless your vids are attracting millions of views and then you might make a mediocre pittance. I wish people would get sponsors instead or sell more mugs and T-shirts or some other money-raising idea which doesn't involve giving money to arguably the world's biggest liars.

I have just watched a video on one of my other favourite channels and he had six sets of adverts in a 10 minute video. I reckon that YT must now be rewarding CZcamsrs with extra money if they show umpteen ads per hour of video. Let's hope it is the death knell for YT and that people will go to individuals' own websites, even if it's to listen to humble podcasts. I would love to see, before I die, the death of the evil Google Empire.
