    Hey lol 🎉 I was one of those guys who pointed out your criticisms of Pulisic. I actually wanted to point out that I was wrong. You don’t just use Pulisic as the thumbnail when Milan lost, you kinda use him as a thumbnail a lot in general for wins and losses. So I was wrong on that one.

    I think a lot of the American fans who are following Milan for Pulisic and Musah are very protective over them now. The crap with Chelsea fans and Pulisic is pretty widely known, but Musah went through *a lot* at Valencia. I remember reading an article about how he had to run to his car and had stuff thrown at him by so-called fans after a Valencia game, just so uncalled for. Musah still has a lot of development to go through but I think he has so much upside and a ton of determination. Both of these guys have a lot of heart and are going to play their asses off for the badge. For me in the last video it was more that (imo) Puli didn't deserve a red box because outside of the missed chance he was doing a ton of work. A yellow box probably would have been more appropriate in my mind.
    Leao still isn't impressing me at all. That stupid chip shot that he took, when he had Romero on his right ready to go, was extremely frustrating to watch. Just- why??? I'm getting to the point where I say, once Chukweuze comes back from injury, throw Pulisic on the left, Chuk on the right, and see what happens. Especially because Puli is producing even while technically being played out of position. What would he cook up in his natural spot? Leao gives an air of complacency, and maybe a spell on the bench could help get his fire back.

Plus I think most people don’t get angry at you for Criticizing Pulisic, for me it was the games you chose to do it. Most Americans are searching for a fan base which actually shows us respect and doesn’t use our players as scapegoats. Keep up the good work, I think you’re doing a great job. Forza Milan!

    I have commented before on how I think Milan should not just throw away our coach and to be patient for this year. I still believe Pioli needs to be able to prove his worth with this squad but he threw this game away. This is NOT just a lack of effort this is a screw up. This draw is primarily his fault by bringing in a kid for the first time in a game at the Maradonna and not changing plans when the tactic clearly doesn't work. This game should have been won after half time and he blew it.
    Leao as usual for this season needs to show why we are paying him so much. This is just not enough bro. Speaking of someone who needs to evolve, Leao needs to be able to provide when there are defenders in front of him. Right now, he's simply looking for free space teams are not dumb enough to give him.

    • @footballkush
      @footballkush  Před 6 měsíci +2

      Can't say it any better, Pioli dropped the ball big time this season. Leao on the other hand needs to do more, he needs to evolve in his style of play, driving and beating defenders should be an important arsenal in his game, not his only game!

  • @natewierzbicki9835
    @natewierzbicki9835 Před 6 měsíci +1

    Let me break this down in order of importance for Milan going forward and tie in this video. Which by the way is my favorite tbat you’ve done so keep up the great work Kush.
    1. Since preseason and still going forward Christian pulisic has shown and will Contiue to be Milan’s most important and influential player accept for maybe tomori. This game is a microcosm of the season and the attacking threat Milan had in the first compared to the second. Leao was done a favor the last three years but not having a right sided counter part who is actually better at finishing, better at dribbling in tight spaces and better final
    Third decision making. Will it take till the end of the season for people
    To realize pulsiic will lead the team in contributons while playing on his WEAK foot side. I wonder? What I can say outright is Leao is a star, not a super star and not a future captain. Look at players like tomori,
    Maignon or even pulsiic in the next coming years.
    2. Pioli did a brilliant job holding that to a 2-2 draw despite the fact that his starting CB was out and then his backup had to hobble off injured as well as their best attacker by far came off at half. You guys think Milan needs more depth but look who’s injured. Chucky, benacer, RLC thiaw on a red, Milan might be the most deep side in serie A!! The backups are just hurt. It happens.
    3. Rafa needs to step it up. If chucky was healthy pulsiic would be on the left wing, maybe for this game and chucky on the right. Sometimes players need to be on the bench at big clubs to realize they need to play with 90
    Minutes of focus.

    • @natewierzbicki9835
      @natewierzbicki9835 Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@AdiqueBrown will see. You can’t deny this is a clearly different Leao from his last two years. And look at Christian’s goals and assists per 90 at Chelsea. He lead that team for 4 years but they never played him. He had 10 and 11 in the prem as a 20 year old. He’s got way better IQ and finishes better. Haven’t you had enough of Leao just dribbling into two guys for the 50th time. And he’s still
      A star. But we need to start viewing as pulisic is one too. But let’s hope they work together to win scudetto!

    • @natewierzbicki9835
      @natewierzbicki9835 Před 6 měsíci

      @@AdiqueBrown pulsiic will have more GA than Leao and he’s playing from his WEAK FOOT side just to give Leao the time he needs to adiust or whatever this grace period is. They each have 6 GA but pulsics are in 100 less minutes. And we’re a fifth of the way through. It’s a strong sample. And like I said it’s the first time Leao had a fellow winger who’s just as influential as him on the stat sheet but does it a totally different way. And that’s affecting him. It’s clear. The last two years he’s had sale makers and messias who has 3 combined goals in a year lol. This isn’t Leao hate. I think he’s a star, but I also think he thinks he’s a super star above pulsiic and I’ve counted like 5 big chances in the box this year he could have slid him
      In and was like naaaaaah. And that’s frustrating AF as a fan of Milan and good football. Imagine if he didn’t wait till the 7th mijute to want to play truly unselfishly, you would have mane and salah esc wingers. Yes, pulsiic is that good. And i said this on this channel at the start of the year. Leao could be on bench for a bit and then shifted to the 9 if he does what he did yesterday and chuckweze is healthy. Bc then you get a more diverse winger in CP coming at you with his dominant foot and you’ll see goals like he had against Germany.

    I am just pissed 😡. On Milan's loss i would be nonchalant and try to take positive out of it and even after defeat to inter, i was trying to take positive from it. But this draw has really filled me with rage. Something seriously wrong in milan's dressing room, i feel a certain negative vibe from this team. I agree that Pioli has to go for the team to reach the next level but it will not be done by cardinale who thinks he is better than Maldini. I don't know kush why u give gerry cardinale so much when he is so much the source of problem for Milan starting with disgraceful firing of Maldini. Agree with the criticism of leao and Theo, leao especially looks like he completely gave up. There is a problem in his approach to scoring goals as he seems he is about to fall down. More than that he is not putting enough effort and his crosses has been downright bad. Theo has really gone down, i mean who doesn't know the proper use of his pace and his tackling has really been disappointingly shocking. Krunic is responsible for the first goal scored by Napoli, i mean why is yacine adli is being treated badly by pioli? He is much better than krunic and has far better passing accuracy than krunic. Last but not least, kush u forgot to mention another important thing, the frequent injuries to our players. Something fishy is going on in the milan medical centre, i mean why the players who haven't set foot on the ground yet are suffering from injuries? Whether it is okafor, Ruben Loftus cheek, kalalu who again got injured, the Milan Medical team are doing shoddy job.

    As an American I am biased when I say this, but once Pulisic came off the attack came to a halt. I expected such from the right side, but it was on the left as well. Granted Napoli changed tactics, but Milan was not putting passes together, Napoli was putting passes together on the right side, thank goodness for Calabria, I have been defending him since the beginning btw lol Anyway I agree with everyone here we need to give Leao some competition I remember he was better after getting benched last season. Kinda crazy that I am expecting more from Pulisic than Leao at this point. He is safer in both defense and offense, you never know if he will put in an assist or cut in to take a shot. Also, he has a great lateral movement that sets off the midfielders and creates space for everyone. I would like to see Okafor up top, and maybe even try the CAM formation again.

    The general hypothesis is that Pioli “has to go”, or “he’s not the coach to take Milan to the next level” - but has anyone asked themselves if Milan actually have a squad to reach the next level?
    After his mid-season takeover in December 2019, Milan had the best record in Serie A. The following season, Milan reached 2nd and became champions of Italy the year after - not to mention reaching the UCL semifinals last year. He achieved all that with one of the youngest squads in all of Europe, comprised of slightly above average players in terms of technical quality, who are more injury-prone than toddlers.
    MILAN FANS, take it from a lifelong fan, former player and a licensed coach: Pioli isn’t a top-tier coach but has greatly over-performed considering what he’s been working with - so BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR when you say “he’s gotta go!” As always, Forza Milan!

      I think there’s a knee jerk response from fans that has to be taken from a lighter standpoint.
      Now when it comes to the coach, I think one of the bigger challenges is, if not Pioli then who?
      Secondly, do I think Pioli is the guy for the European level, no I don’t think so. I think he regularly gets tactically outclassed against Tier 1 coaches and at a certain point, for Milan to become a Tier 1 side, they’ll have to recruit a coach of that level too.

    • @vittoriofioravanti2493
      @vittoriofioravanti2493 Před 6 měsíci

      @@footballkush Let’s assume that coaching is the problem - or as you noted “Pioli isn’t the guy for European level soccer.” Does that mean that Milan have a 21-man squad that IS good enough?
      There are handful of top echelon coaches in the world of soccer today - none of whom would even think to align themselves with this crop of talent, not to mention budgetary parameters and guarantees for project continuity.
      In a span of just 5 years (2014-2019) Milan had NINE different coaches, not including Pioli. Do we need to enter another of era of experimental limbo and unknowns? I understand everyone’s frustration with some of the results this year - but I don’t think that fans’ expectation out of this team are in sync with reality.

    These guys are ridiculous; it’s not like Pioli has Real Madrid galacticos. Milan is not a top 5 talent team in the world clearly. Fans act as if Milan has by far the best roster in Serie A…they don’t. So to hold him to a crazy high standard as if they are Bayern Munich in bundesliga is silly

      @footballkush  Před 6 měsíci

      Don't think the debate amongst fans is around Real Madrid or Bayern levels, the questions is, can Stefano Pioli take Milan to the next level. A level where he doesn't fail to win 6 matches in a row against big opponents or fail to score in 5 consecutive UCL matches which has never happened in club history - I don't think he is the coach for the next level.

You can’t demand him to do what he doesn’t have the tools for. He did a great job for 2nd psg game no? It’s also probability and math. Sometimes in these tough games you have a 50/50 chance of winning…sometimes if you flip a coin 5 times you get tails all 5 times…doesn’t mean anything is wrong with the coin. First of all, Pioli needs to go. How do you sub Pulisic that was pressing and splitting the lines with passes. Running channels to create spaces? I texted my boys in the group chat on WhatsApp saying I’m glad that we are playing like this but I fear that Pioli will make a change and remove either Giroud or Pulisic because it is what he does. Guess what? He freaking removed Pulisic for a kid. Napoli now didn’t have any reason to defend anymore and they stated the torture. It was annoying to watch. Pioli needs to go man, he was lucky to get the successes he has but he’s not the man for the job. The only reason we are in champs is because of points deduction for Juve else we would have not even been guaranteed Europa which is a shame. You can see the players are no longer happy with him. Giroud was subbed for Jovic, I mean what the heck? This is not a game to bring folks in to test the waters. I swear Pioli probably bets on our games too.
