Cannot be better said.
I have one

It is a consumerist product, and as such, it will sell. This is just an extension of rgb and glass sided cases, its all just going to get tackier and tackier, and it is going to sell well to the moronic masses.
Well said 👏 thanks.
Yo dawg, why is a 2010s era smartphone inside your pc case?
PIMP My RIDE as pivoted to PCs!
My thought on first sight was "why is there an HTC One X in there?"
Ngl that screen looks absolute shit.
At the point where the screen doesn't look like an "integrated" part into the accommodating piece of hardware it feels off IMO
PCs should neither be seen or heard. this is the YO DAWG, we put a dvd player in you boogie board. Bling that boogie!
I know what you mean but I disagree as long as its able to show the temperature inside your case.
Who left an old iphone inside your computer?
@@KalkuehlUncut Yeah but for that there's offerings from other brands that are far better integrated into the design. If you're into this cooler just for the screen, just get one of those LCD kits to mount to the side panel or something, it'll look better overall and give you full control over what it can show.
@@KalkuehlUncut realtemp down bottom right next to clock on the taskbar or similar
I'll be brutally honest; this kind of gadget represents everything I dislike about the current state of things in the PC building community. To each their own I guess.
There are so many other things that I wish hardware manufacturers would focus on. Airflow, thermal efficiency, case layout innovation and space reduction optimizations. Our obsession with RGB, vertical GPU mounts, cable sleeves, hidden cables, fancy-looking motherboard armors is just driving up component production costs. I'm happy to see some manufacturers moving in the right direction though.
i feel like it’s mostly just because the younger generation is really getting into pcs and building them, and a lot of younger people really want things to fit an aesthetic or look clean and appealing. and what’s what most of this stuff does.
Yeah. I'm in my 30s now. I want to buy the best monitor I can, I don't need my PC case glowing like a deep sea creature drawing from my monitor and ruining the image quality.
@@georgejones5019 precisely. Like, I just want my PC case exterior to look nice, that's all. Everything else should be amount thermals, noise, and raw performance.
Not everything is about getting your CPU 1 degree cooler. Sometimes making it look cooler is worth more
@@rnacro. dunno, i''ll be 34 this year, and my current build is custom lc with rgb stuff here and there, vertical gpu with wb, aqua computers pump/flow meters with monitors in a full tower 7000d case. I enjoy clean and good looking build. You know its like you can buy and tune some average car to be as fast as hypercars, but they still look cooler.
$300 for less performance? Haha next
yea but it has a gaming fog emitter & disco lights, that plays the final countdown song by europe in midi when you boot. you can stick the case in front of the monitor so its even more of a desktop eyesore
You don't buy it for the performance.
You mean NZXT?
@WhitehornMichael not them apparently since they advertised that it outperforms a 360mm. Pay attention
But you get a stupid looking screen in your computer that you’ll never be looking at cause you have a computer monitor to look at. What a steal
This is Pimp My Ride level bullshit. I'm fully expecting a show where Xzibit puts a Switch in a PC case "so you game game while you game" sometime soon.
Hyte went even further, THICC is an acronym for Technology Harnessing Innovative Chonk for Cooling.
Hyte's product page states and I quote that it "Drops temps like Country Riddim at a Four Tet show".
That's so fucking cringe ngl. Trying too hard to be cool with the kids.
even more cringe than four tet dropping Country Riddim like 3-4 time in a set
Looks like the product engineer and the marketing department swapped role for this product.

you should make the quietest flagship SFF possible, 7800x3d, 4080s/4090. use any tricks you need like pbo, undervolting, custom gpu shrouds, etc. obviously it wouldn’t be passive like the beast, but it’d be interesting to see just how quiet is possible
Looks interesting, but the price is even more than the SFF Tax. This is from an owner who owns a SFF with a 4090 and 7800X3D inside.
Air or water?
@@legendaryz_ch water 💧
@@legendaryz_ch air within an SFF running those components would choke on boot lmao
Yeah, but it doesn't have a 7950X3D or 14900k in it, so you could always have a worse SFF tax.
@@siddhantyadav450? Got a meshlicious 5800x 4090 aswell... Just curious
You can get a $60 360mm aio that cools over 350 wats, so i dont see the appeal of this at all.
YUP, i paid $60, plus bought a $20 hdmi powered screen, and boom $80 screened 360 AIO
I guess putting a screen on a liquid cooler is considered innovative. lol
It's the 2 pumps in the wiring that's Innovative goof
@@Shuttterbugg And it performs worse than the other cooler he compared it to. Such innovation. lol
When the performance is less than existing tech then i dont think it can be considered innovation... @@Shuttterbugg
@@Shuttterbugg you can't hear the pump over the jet engine fans. Innovation!
The placement of the pumps inside the radiator kills its potential cooling capacity, IMO. I've got to say you did a killer job on the lighting and camera shots. You'd make a hell of a camera director for the movie industry. Keep up the good work.
And this demonstrates why alot of custom watercooling guys (me included) moved from thick radiators and fast fans in push pull (only worth doing with thicker rads), to thinner larger rads (larger in frontal surface area) and more of them.
This way you can have more surface area, more fans spinning at a lower rpm, and more fluid for heat to dump into (takes much longer for water temps to peak), all at a lower operating noise level as well.
Currently I'm modifying an old Silverstone TJ07 case to fit 1920mm of radiator (equivalent of 4x 480mm rads), it'll run any system, full blast, at very quiet noise levels..only downside is how expensive a loop like this costs 😅
i had a 480mm & 280mm in a TJ07 and was overkill - push pull on the 280mm and only push on 480mm. water delta was very low - maybe 10 over ambient even with a 3080 and 10700k @5.3ghz. CPU would peak at 62 degrees in summer.
Doesn't push-pull allow you to drop your RPMs? I have an Evolv X with a 420mm and 280mm GTS radiators (30mm thickness) and I have to my fans ramp up to about 900 RPM. I was thinking of throwing a GTX (54mm) in the front with push-pull fans to reduce my fan speeds further. Do you think this is a bad idea?
i planned on building a 4x 540 custom baffled system (basically a pc sitting inside a sound proofed box with both the intake & exhaust super muffled), i stopped after awhile of planning when i couldnt run away any longer from the fact that this exercise was gonna be thousands $$$$, with LESS reliability, to achieve what exactly? for all intents purpose my system is silent already with d15 & 3x a12x25s dialed in. maintenance etc. i can be lazy, this big dumb block of metal aint breaking or needs maintenance. was fun planning though! optimus water blocks , forgtoten now, but went so much detail spending ages working out most reslient rubber for hoses etc. black commercial rubber with clamps. Like you say, bigger fan turnign slower better than small high rpm.
@@Noah-Lach You'll lose all benefit of a thicker rad by pushing less air through it, at that point you are better off with a low fpi thin rad and a single set of fans spinning quietly, which is the route I've gone with, to make up for lower temps, I've just put ridiculous amounts of surface area in the case, and have 2x D5's decoupled from the case and with blue-tak stuffed inside the casing (behind the PCB)..so plenty of flow, 1/2" ID soft tubing, and heaps of radiator surface area with slow spinning fans.
I can get my hands on an old, fully outdated Alienware Aurora ALX PC. I'm not at all interested in the PC, the GTX 750ti is a bit outdated, but the case is what I want. It is a very cool looking case, and would be very neat for a retro build, but I just cant sort out how you can possibly get any airflow through that case. Plus the Front I/O is full of 13 years worth of funk, none of the USBs work, and I'm not sure if those can be replaced or not?? Would be a very cool looking PC if it could be worked out though, I can get it for basically free.
Glad to see you around, miss your twitch streams, hope you're doing great broski 🤙
Would be really cool to see a “lowest input lag setup” video where you chase after the lowest total system latency, heavy OC, 8khz, 540hz monitor, your optimal config of parts and software/monitor settings/game settings from your findings in other videos, and maybe even a comparison to an “average” setups latency with high speed cams and charts to show. Even going as far as finding the lowest input lag esport title to play and a comparison between games.
Fully aware this will lead to some diminishing returns and it’s overkill, but it’s gotta feel pretty unreal to play on I bet.
for 300 that is the biggest ripoff
10% off on their website LOL
My man you got such a sick studio, please invest in some sturdy tables that don't wobble so much 😂 As always, love the content
Great video as always! I want to see you review the Sora V2 mouse.
I love the Dragon Ball Super and Pokémon stuff you put onto the screen
The swivel feature is a nice touch
Optimum what is the monitor mount you use? I’m looking for something sleek and low profile
I look at my monitors, not my pc - next
I hope they sell those fans separately, having inlet air temps on each one plus it being a sorta cable less setup is awesome!
The absance of visible cables on this AIO is sooo nice
When are we getting an update to the zeromouse? would love to get my hands on one.
I might have missed it, but does this AIO allow you to refill it, because after a few years won’t there be some fluid loss due to permeation and such?
@optimum, I really need your help. I need your recommendation for a 1440p 240Hz monitor, as I haven't found any recent videos on monitors with those specs. Also, I want to ask if running a two-monitor setup will be a problem if my second monitor doesn't have 240Hz. Thanks in advance.
I’d really like to see you build a simple 4080/4090 ITX PC. I want to get into building my first ITX PC but your custom liquid cooled FormD T1 build is super intimidating. Can you please make a similar video but with regular off the shelf parts and maybe a slightly beefier cooler than the thin and maybe anaemic Noctua you used in the air cooled version? A high end ITX PC for entry level ITX PC builders if you will.
Also, love your content man! I always rush to see your videos as soon as they are posted. Can’t wait to see you blow up even more.
Didnt catch if you said this in the video, but this was using the same thermal paste?? Or some sort of preapplied thermal paste on the AIOs??
Were you running a contact frame on the CPU? Looks like it has a flat IHS which would put the asetek based (convex cold plate) ahead right off the bat.
As a hardcore pc enthusiast, I’ll only be satisfied when there are screens on my gpu, psu, ram, motherboard and SSD.
I’ve got to say that the integrated features of the AIO are pretty nice. But front mounting looks like a nightmare, the thickness is just dumb, and the fact that the fans can only mount on one side is inconvenient. Oh and that display is atrocious. AND ITS $300 NO NO
What case did you use at the beginning of the video?
Man, at 3:50 I was half-expecting your test bench to just take off when you ramped up the fans to their max speed 3000 RPM, especially with how it sounded as loud as an airplane engine.
Is there something like this as a standalone CPU block? For a custom watercooled system, is there just a block with a screen?
Optimum, any chance on you covering the KBDFans Holy 60 with the Hall Effect switches? Very curious to see how it holds its own against Wooting.
Fam what do you use blender for. Love you
optimum what u recommend i buy? the SuperFrame Vision 27 Pol, Curvo, Quad HD, VA, HDR600, 1ms, 180Hz or the Gigabyte G27F2, 27 Pol, Full HD, 130% SRGB FreeSync, 165Hz, 1ms, IPS? they both in the same price range of 1,3k or +/- 300 dollares
Honestly, what I would want from a screen like that is a movie or random shorts/clips on youtube to the game I'm playing, that only plays when I die, so when I look away from the screen in disappointment over my own performance, I can be constantly reminded over how much better others are in the game.
One of the only youtubers that actually tested this vs a 360mm aio. Finally
almost 1mil! proud :D
Quite charming. I will change my present case to fit it.
I needed to look at my calendar to see if it was April 1st after looking at this aio
Hey I don't mean to be a pain but could you help me decide on which Monitor to go with between: AOC Agon PRO AG276QZD 27" OLED Tournament Gaming Monitor and ASUS ROG Swift 27”1440P OLED DSC Gaming Monitor?
Perfect video as always. Random question @optimum: where can i find your black tshirt. i need it. its perfectly minimal.
...did you just ask where he bought a solid black t-shirt?
@@altoids6748Being fair, not all tees are built the same and they have different cuts.
Just a tip on sound measurements from an Industrial Hygienist; you orient the microphone 90 degrees away from the source (not pointing directly at the source), and due to the inverse square law, you position the microphone where the human ear would be located relative to the source. There are other considerations such as the weighting scheme applied to the octave bands, and the enclosure makes a big difference.
It would make more sense if it was even thicker and the screen was on the radiator's side. You could have it either vertical or horizontal depending on the mounting position.
Props to every brand who tries new things, but this is kinda the nichest product ever, even with the LCD.
Any plan on improving the tiniest gaming pc case btw or was that scrapped?
Hello, what case is this? Thank youu!!
hi optimum data documents , files , images , large video footage etc because altough you use a big ssd on your pc i doubt you store all of your data in there , do you by any chance use a nas or something like that , or could you do a short video to explain it the best way for us to understand . greetings from peru hope you keep up with the amazing and honest review content you ve been doing all this time.
being that close to a 360 mm radiator like the kraken while being 240 is pretty impresive tbh
The build looks so good i thought the thumbnail was a render for a second

-LG UltraGear 27GR83Q-B - 320 EUR
-MSI G274QPX - 450 EUR
-AOC AG274QG - 350 EUR
Hey , what are your thoughts on Samsung's dual Qhd display monitors ? I would personally prefer if they released 31-32 inch version so that it can run dual qhd @24" with much better ppi.
Ali I know this is very out of topic but could you do a video on your lifting journey. Every time I watch your videos I'm mesmerized by your huge arms and zone out of the tech stuff half the time. Again a very odd request but would mean a lot to many people if you did it.
I want to see this cooler even thicker, with a push-pull configuration.
btw its expensive because it has a cpu quadcore 64 bit arm cortext and has ram ddr4 idk how many gb and it has storage like an ssd and an co-proccesor and 6 years warranty but the pumps rpm can reach to 4,500 and the fans 3000 rpm and the brightness is 300 nits
I'd have been curious how push-pull would have fared against the 360 kraken. In terms of noise levels.
Gives me an apple vibe, the color and smooth bezels.
studio tour soon?
close to a milli congrats
they're not kidding when they name it "thicc".
Will you review Ncase M1 Evo?
Anyone know whats the name of the fishtank case is?
Optimum, I saw an aio that you might be interested. It's called TRYX Panorama, its like other aio but the cpu block has a 3D Oled screen like those 3D billboard screens. Hope I see it in your channel.🔥
3:50 Ladies and gentlemen please fasten your seatbelts. We are preparing for take-off. 💀
Is there a discord for this guy? I would love to join his community
the radiator reminds me of Arctic liquid freezer but even deeper. Phanteks has thicc fans aswell you know the T30's. As long as the pump is fast enough to handle spikes this thing is smart.
Bro just put your old smartphone in the block.
they just took an aio and slapped a thicc screen on it
Can it be set up as a display?
optimum, review the deepcool ch160 mini itx case
I had Aquacool xt45 with 2x noctua NF-P12 at 1100rpm (full speed 1300rpm was to loud) and DC-LT only for 3080 and it was just enough for MW2 with v-sync, around 250W, with v-sync off (300+ W TDP) liquid temp goes skyrocket above 55C
2 pumps in the hose is the innovation..i know i have one...the screen is just a plus
The thing with tick rads you need push pull to get good performance with a good noise level. The thing is with the THICC you have double the surface area, but in that regard, you have to move air over that surface area for it to be effective. Since the THICC is "stacking" to get better performance mathematically you will have to have 35% more air flow to get a near linier graph for surface area to performance vs a 480mm long rad vs a near double thick rad... Assuming though you have the same flow, but then with AIOs you start to hit a flow limit. Why I said near, without an increase in flow rate there is harder chance to come to parity.
TLDR without more airflow and/or flow rate it can't do better.
looks like they put a smart phone on top of the pump
Whats the case used at 1:40 please ?
node based fan curve is crazy lol
How can I buy one of your PC builds?
wow look at that another screen that you will look at twice, more expensive than a used 3070 too
Does anyone know if the asus pg27aqn monitor is still worth it in 2024 or should i just wait for something better? It’s currently like around $700 on amazon so idk if i should bite the bullet. (My pc is not an issue)
Maybe just a detail, but since you are a perfectionist I'll say it anyway, the audio on this video is not really the best, in particular in the first shots. There is quite a bit of reverb and once you notice it it's pretty distracting! Great video as always but just thought I would point it out.
This thing looks completely tasteless and childish
...and yet, people are going to buy it. Like it or not, Hyte has a following and I think they understand their audience pretty well- it's niche, but appropriate for their demographics.
This is the goofiest PC optimum ever put together
wow a phone attached to a regular aio, how impressive.
Can we have a Studio Tour ?
Who let bro put an iPhone in his PC 💀
I kinda want this for my special edition Hyte Y60, but only if goes on sale for like 150-200€.
Or just buy the Hyte Y70 that comes with the 12.5" screen that is meant to be put in the 45-degree window. Then you can put as many apps/widgets you want on it. The screen is about $150.00. So, the extra $150 you don't spend on this combo can be put elsewhere.
What about a studio tour
what kind of monitor is in the frame 6:08
No shot that’s fitting top mount 😂
The problem is not the size of the radiator, but the cooling-capability of the CPU block.
Yo, can anyone tell me what brand this case is from? thanks :)
Can you tell me when there will be another Zero mouse drop?
