Years ago a drunk got all up in my face, I knew him and he was a dick even when sober. But even with him in my face trying to insult me I remained calm. One of his friends pulled him way and another person nearby told me flat out: calm down. That pissed me off in nothing flat.I walked away from that fool.

Well, as a black South African, Steve just described American customer service. South Africa has the best customer service. I took an American family around SA and they couldn't believe how nice our customer service was. So speak for yourselves folks 😂
And we did not even know how to complain, even when we were right 🤦♂️, by that I mean being assertive. We are too polite for our own good 😂😂😂. Some people mistook that for weakness. Things are changing for sure.
Mara sisi, I always agree with you but not this time. Black South Africans will give you the best customer care if you are not black . One lady told me to wait at the door at Spar supermarket the other day, cause it was already full due to Covid 19 restrictions. But when a young Indian woman showed up, she welcomed her in, totally oblivious to me and what she had told me a few seconds earlier. . I looked at her in complete disbelef and accused her of being racist towards her own people. That in a nutshell, is customer service black South africa style.
I am from Botswana and I can tell u, South African customer service is topnotch. I completely agree. Keep it up guys

the wonderful people of South Africa , such a pity the past has created such deep wounds in the country and kept everyone isolated from each other in the past blacks , indians coloreds and whites , language barriers just so sad for all the lost opportunities of being one nation together. It is great to see black people thriving and so highly educated after so many opportunities were denied to their parents and grandparents. I hope people can heal and use all the talents and energy for a better future in such a beautiful country.
