  • This development has a very unique floor layout plan. For a start, the biggest unit does not have landing area at the entrance. So that means it's the grill and the main fire rated door back to back. Think of a hotel room door along the walkway corridor. That's fine if that's the treatment for all units, but no, all the other smaller layouts have a landing area.
The biggest units are directly accessible at the lift lobby while the other smaller units are located behind a bomba fire door. The norm is to have the bigger units at the corner, for a better view that a corner can command and also privacy. Smaller units are placed in the middle, sort of as an intermediate unit, but this development is otherwise.
So is it all bad for the biggest unit? Nope. The 2 guest rooms for the biggest unit looks into an air well (highlighted in green), which is totally private to the 2 largest units only. And due to the angels of the windows relative to the air well, it offer total privacy where the unit beside is not able to look in! That means you can do whatever you want, leave the curtains/blinds open and it's fine.
Well, it's really quite an interesting layout I have to say. And I haven't gone to the furnishing yet. There's no kitchen tiles at all. And also....blah blah blah....(too long to list down everything)
As for facilities, this rock climbing wall looks impressive, but it's the only picture worth facility that I was able to capture. Watch the whole review and you'll certain agree with me.

Welcome, welcome. But condo rather poorly maintained, unfortunately, especially the facilities. Hope the owners can push to developer and management office to restore all of it soonest.

It's very near to Jinjang MRT station

I think that's the biggest advantage of this development. The unit itself and the facilities, unfortunately, isn't great at all.

At the 10:33 mark in your video, you'll notice the shadow cast by the aluminium cladding/louvre, partially covering the sliding door. At certain time of the year, it may about provide shade to the whole sliding door and the windows facing the same direction. That way you'll get 'full' ventilation without the glare.

Wow, interesting observation. Such fine details, can only notice over a period of time staying in. Hard to capture during a short few hours visit.
Thnx for sharing, new info for me.

one of the weirdest layout I've ever seen

My take on the unit layout.
Good: Window of the 2 bedrooms, looking into the airwell with total privacy (other people can't look in). Also, dining area has a video with a big window panel, although it's partially obstructiled by the exterior aluminium cladding.
Bad: Space along walkway from entrance to living room (hard to utilise/maximise). The small room can only be used as a store, what a pity. Could easily be a spare room/study room just by adding a window (totally possible) that looks out to the air well and also adding some power points.

Yeah, it's rather sad. Not just the gym, but the facilities is very poorly maintained, for a development that is only 1 year++. What is the management body doing? Owners need to push hard on this.

Yeah, the name eNesta is actually derived from the word Nest - that was the thinking behind it. This project is supposed to be a Nest for the buyers, where they can call it home and have everything in there. Basically, a nest to take off from in the morning and a nest to come back to in the evening. Once back, everything is there, from the vibrant retail lots, a nice cosy home and the full range of facilities.
Sadly, the retail lots haven't really taken off, and the facilities is poorly maintained.
