Meghan really showed her double standards, she was comfortable calling Mariah a diva but hearing it back to herself is an insult. Questions me to think was she then insulting Mariah or just running with media narratives that apply to others and she is the exception to the rule
Well to clarify Mariah is a diva regardless because of her vocal skills since that's the original definition of the word, but Meghan being called a diva only makes sense in the modern context of the word which means a female that is demanding and insufferable since she has no vocal skills.

I listened to the entire Mariah Carey podcast because (1) I am a fan of Carey and (2) I do appreciate the premise of the podcast series and appreciate the women featured, who probably thought the platform would give them the chance to show a courageous side of their journeys that no one had heard before in such an intimate way. Carey was not only incredibly intelligent, articulate, and authentic about her experience, she was incredibly generous to Markle when Markle spoke of her own experience. However, when Markle responded the way she did about the diva remark, I could not believe it. She really has a very serious problem and that response just confirms so many concerns that people have had about her.
Because Meghan is a Narscissist and is completely unaware.

As a Mariah fan in a relationship with a royalist I was looking forward to this episode but Meghan's personality is too much to bear. Why is she constantly talking about herself? Then that goes with saying that we shouldn’t know who the royal family is, since they haven’t accomplished much. Except that in many way they have, if at least entertainment and intrigue for the world to feast on. The Queen, however, has actually done enough in her life to merit her love and admiration. So really it’s the rest of the family that needs to pick up any slack and be worth the money that the British taxpayers are paying them.

I disagree that motherhood is the "highest" aspiration, but I do agree it's an "equal" aspiration to all others. I believe the message we should send young women is no matter what you aspire to be, if you achieve it then you WILL "have it all". Maybe that will stop people BOTH from looking down their noses at women who choose to be stay-at-home moms, and the reverse of treating women who want a career as somehow morally wrong.

Good comment... I'm glad you're happy. However, it's only your definition of "having it all". The question we might ask, is, why do we aspire or why should we aspire to "have it all"? Mature persons know that there are about a million things we can have in life, and about a million that we can't. Women of the 1930s were taught that raising a family is a serious, respectable enterprise, but also very taxing, expensive and absorbing. Careers are also respectable, expensive and absorbing. Sensible teachers had their students understand that spreading oneself too thin could be bad, even disastrous.
The feminist movement hit the theme of "having it all" pretty hard in the 1970s. Fact was, more women graduated college in the 1930s than in the 1970s. The feminist movement was more about woke and other politics than raising the status of women.
I firmly believe all people should be able to pursue their dreams. They should also be able to live in peace and freedom, enjoying full liberty, when they do it... oh wait. That's already been invented...🎉

Princess Di, Fergie and Meghan married into a firm that allowed their men to do what they wanted to do and the woman had to obey and perform their duties no matter what. That is clear. Harry and Meghan are doing their own thing. She was an accomplished woman before she started dating Harry. I hope the best for them and whatever they would like to do.

To me she looks dirty, and all up very unimpressive. Never, in the history of Wimbledon, has any celebrity or Royal demanded empty seats around them so the public cannot sit near them. Then, when people were taking photos of Serena playing, Meghan had her bodyguards tap them on the shoulder and demand they not take photos of her (Meghan), when they actually weren't.

I think a majority of people from all over the world had a major affection for William and Harry due to the circumstances of Princess Diana and their parent's problems. William and Kate are happy in their personal and royal lives, and William took on the life of service and duty taught by the Queen to heart; this is self-evident. Also, people were happy Harry found love and marriage; however, look at the difference in respect for the lives they happened to have born within, many would envy the ability to use their lives to support causes and be the promoter of non-political themes to help the greater good of their country. William and Kate, as well as Charles, Edward and Sophie, Princess Anne, and Beatrice and Eugenie share a common respect for this opportunity. But, when one reviews Harry and Megan, there is a loss to respect to the institution and creating a place within it, even as a spare. The marriage we must regocnize ass bi-racial, but in a good way, the UK is bi-racial, and has more than the Church of England as a religion. Based on this the opportunities for them to create a program to help in racial tensions, in being a working royal and pitching in. Whatever his father did, he did due to a forced element of duty, his love was somewhere else, but I do believe he loves his kids based on wanting to be a better father than Prince Phillip. No one is perfect, and the Queen held it together for 70 years and that is quite a sense of duty. For Harry and Megan, the ditching of the "firm", the lack of compassion and knowledge Harry should have made Megan aware regarding protocal, royal life, and how to maneuver the press. No celebrity, royal or otherwise, avoids the tabloids and to always toss back the racism line was over the line when there were other ways to handle many sad things that were written. But, the Queen was at the end of her life and Harry truly showed tremendous disrespect as well as Megan, the curtsey ridicule Megan overly and poorly dramatized should have been taught. No one believer her lies at this point, the Opray interview, where Oprah saw the lead to make more of a name for herself, lended much credence to both share in narcissism. Would anyone under stress not at some point consider suicide? No, I am sure it happens, but I question in a organization as the Monarch (which they learned from Diana's issues and the guidance they gave to Kate) has changed their perspective. Where was Harry, he was powerful enough to take care of any help his wife needed through the system and not through degrading the system that gave him a life and money most envy; yet, what he did was completely disrespectful and as their interview showed was pushed and prodded to make the Royal Family the culbrit of all things. Honestly, let's just say someone did inquire or wonder about sking color, so what. Any family care first for the health of the child and mother, but if your kids are in a bi-racial marriage, i don't think it is so odd to wonder and that has nothering to do with racism. They have blown so much out of proportion and lied so many times, that now their quest for financial independence is questionable and both lack the personality and talent to bypass their internalized "only me" attitudes, people are sick and tired. I read his book and although he did not actually write it, do we care about penis frostbite or who took his virginity? The fights with his brother? All brothers have fights and all William asked was not to rush into it. But they did and the wedding which they gladly accepted along with a now gone present from the Queen of Frogmore, surely didn't bother them because Megan saw it as an opportunity to embrace her narcissism to the hilt. It is all very sad, and due to the on-going "kick the royal family in the ass" will never get back to a peaceful time. Charles has lost the opportunity for time with his grandchildren and the country lost a popular prince. Megan is selfish, she thinks she is a Diva (Streisand, Cher, Mariah, Midler, and a lot more worked their butts off for themselves as women with actual talent and can be called Diva's for real), Megan is talentless, manipulative but talentless and Oprah can pat herself on the back for the backlash that will never go away.

Hey, Megyn, I thought about your program this morning as I was praying. Has it ever occurred to you that what the world is seeing in Harry and Meghan's behavior are two people who were wounded as children in their lives and now as adults are still "acting out" as little children who are still in pain?? Think about the enormous pain Prince Harry suffered as a 12 year old who lost the rock in his life, his mother and then having to endure the added pain of having his father shove CPB in his face. What resentment and a sense of betrayal he must of felt from the royal family as their way of dealing with situations is to stuff your feelings and not talk about them. He is a man who is STILL a 12 year old child acting out at unresolved issues of pain from his childhood. The only difference with Harry is that most of us don't have a world platform from which to air our grievances. People in pain act out due to unresolved pain and bitterness in their lives. I challenge you to create a program based on examining WHY he and Megan have lashed out at their family members and destroyed the bridges between them. They are two adults who have unresolved , painful childhood issues that have not been dealt with as adults. I challenge you to get off of the world's Let's Bash Harry and Megan Bandwagon and show a little compassion. Produce a program to find out why they are lashing out and have a victim mentality. .millions wod watch it and learn something.
I watched this a few days ago, and one thing kept popping into my head, so I'm back today to leave a comment. The way Markle said "WhaaT", when she was justifying Maria's "Diva" comment, it was near identical to the way Oprah said "what" in the now infamous "racist Royals" interview. She mimics, she must have thought Oprahs "what" was effective, so she added it to her repertoire.
Notice how MM explains for Carey what she meant by the word “diva”. In an interview you can’t do that. Let the person speak for themselves. Don’t tell me what your interpretation is.
